Arch General Contractors are simply put, the best! The owner is just an extremely honest, hardworking, and a very knowlegdeable individual. I interviewed alot of contractors before starting our work and it was very clear that they are above the rest. I will never hire any other contractor. Our first meeting with Yakup Koksaldi, the President of t h e company, was very productive. We told him what we wanted and he sat there and drew up the plan exactly the way we wanted it to be. He was cool and professional and never once pressured us. He was honest and gave us good advice. We did an addition (23'x14'), with an A roof. They started work in June 2016 and completed the job by mid August 2016. The work was neatly done and up to code. From the foundation to the roof, the skylight, the energy efficient Windows, the heating system, laminate flooring, electrical system and light fixtures . Everything was done with great professionalism. The workers were polite and worked effortlessly. We are very pleased with the outcome of our addition. Since completing this job, we already had them come back to do a small project. We have recommended them to our friends because our friends just love our addition. We can't wait to start a new project with them. They are,certainly the best.

Cannot recommend Jacob and his team. Bathroom was finished with my threshold damaged, individual marble tiles cracked and the top of my door trim is comprised of 3 pieces fit together with 1 coat of paint barely masking the joints/nails. On top of it, the custom shower door he ordered is leaking after every shower. I asked Jacob to come fix without a response for a month. When I followed up he simply pushed blame onto his shower company without ever thinking to follow up with the customer. I also want to add that I had to ask Jacob to remove garage/building materials laying around my house during the build, this was never done. Stay away at all costs.

Rate A+ outstanding they were great The Rating for both jobs would be A+. I had a deck redone and a doorway with a small room added to the house. The workers were professional; they knew what needed to be done and they are hard workers. They completed the work on time. The president of the company is great - he is friendly, lays out the work that needs to be done. He knows the building codes so there are no issues when it’s time for the inspections. The best part is his prices are more than fair. They kept the area clean; they continually made sure that the work was meeting your expectations. I would hire them again

<p>My wife and I have been exceptionally happy with the work that Arch has done for us. We were nervous about finding a contractor to do the work we wanted to get done, but immediately liked Jacob (Yakup) when he came to sit down with us and talk through everything we wanted. We never felt rushed or pressured and everyone that we've worked with on the project has been fantastic. </p> <p>Two big things that I told Jacob that I was looking for in a contractor beyond quality of work: 1. being on-time with the completion of the work (particularly since we gave him a deadline of this week since we have a graduation party coming up) and 2. ensuring that quotes are accurate and we stay within budget. <br></p> <p>I am extremely happy to say that despite my wife and I adding in several pretty big extras during the work (one of which was completely redoing the front staircase), Jacob and his team were right on schedule and what I was quoted was what I paid. I really can't say enough good things about them. On-time, professional, fair-priced, extremely detail oriented (even things that I said "that looks good to me", Ali, (Jacob's dad) and Yuksel wanted to be perfect) and reliable. They kept me informed of schedules, kept their work areas neat, tried to minimize impact in areas where we weren't doing work, were super friendly, hard working and great at what they do. <br></p> <p>I would use them again in a heartbeat--like I said, I really can't say enough good things about the entire experience with Arch. Would wholeheartedly recommend them. <br></p>

contractor worked steadily to get it done, but certain details were a bit sloppy. Had to stand on the guy to get him to take care of finishing touches. at one point his people installed a damaged drain in the bathtub, screws were rusty in the plug switch. towel rail was not installed level. work with joint compound was messy. dirty wall switch was installed. Had to tell them twice to get that cleaned up. Had to have them come back twice to fix the wall compound. they fixed the towel rail, but it just recently pulled out of the wall, so it wasn't installed in a secure fashion. they didn't seal the house when they did the compound sanding and dust got everywhere. Other than that, ... <br /> guy came up with a good solution for reorganizing the bathroom. the work was in general good quality. the sloppy end of job stuff wasn't a show stopper. but it was necessary to withhold payment until it was all done right. <br />

Excellent from day one. As soon as we met Jacob we knew we were going to hire him. His professionalism and knowledge surpasses any other contractor we spoke with. His quote was broken down in sections with the price for each section of the job. All the other contractors have a quote with the basics of what would be done and just the overall cost. The job was started when promised, all inspections were approved on the first visit with inspectors praising their work. They are polite, professional and do not mind at all being interrupted in their work if we had a question. We are so impressed with Jacob and Ali and their team that I just had to write this review even though we just went through the 1st inspections. I will write more praises as work is completed. If you are looking for any work done on your home call Arch. You will not be disappointed you will be impressed. <br />

The owner of the company is extremely personable. He listens to what we need. He makes great suggestions. He's flexible. He's on time. He does good quality work. We've worked with them on several things for the past 5 or 6 years. They have always done quality work. I would definitely use them in the future.

Re sanded and stained hardwood floors throughout main house entry way, study, powder room and entire kitchen. Properly taped off all appliances and living room to eliminate the dust. Removed all quarter round molding and re installed after job was complete to include repainting. Jacob of Arch General was a true professional and made numerous follow ups during and after the job was complete. I definitely recommend Arch General for all you hardwood floor needs and kitchen remodels. A++ <br />

<p>Although a bit difficult to get hold of at first. It was well worth the wait. </p> <p>We had contracted with Arch to finish our basement and although it took a little longer than anticipated we are very pleased with the outcome.</p> <p>Recognizing some of the delays were caused by the township waiting for the permits and inspections. I would suggest procuring ALL of the permits prior to starting the project and the time to complete would be cut considerably. When receiving quests from multiple contractors, wake up from Arch general contracting came up with the most creative design to work around our heating system which is in the middle of my basement. The attention to detail made the finished product what i was looking for!

My husband and I hired Arch General Contracting to do the masterbath remodel and we added the kitchen while they were working on the bathroom. Jacob and company are good, hardworking people and easy to work with. Jacob is very responsive when we need him and he checks up on the progress of the construction in almost a daily basis. <br /> We love our new Bathroom and Kitchen! Yacob and his father Ali are real professionals. They quickly responded to our inquiry and presented us with a detailed analysis and time frame for all of the desired changes. I should tell you that this is my send time using them. They were great finishing my basement and they were just as great with the kitchen/bathroom remodel. Both the cost and the time were as planned. We were so comfortable with their work that we were able to go on vacation for a week as they finished the remodel!! I consider them my friends and if you are looking for a dedicated, experienced and reliable contractor, look no further! <br />

Everything went very smooth. Contractor was prompt and responsive to all issues. Honored 10% Angie's List discount and finished entire job within a few days. Overall the basement and other rooms look great. We would definitely use them again in the future and plan on it with other rooms in the house. <br />

With rules of my condo association governing all renovations, Arch General Contracting was able to remodeled my kitchen and bathroom to make it feel like I live in a large home.
