Jeff and his crew at Arellano Masonry was absolutely amazing.  I was unsure what to do with a large driveway and adjacent front yard space.  Jeff came up with a beautiful circular driveway design and decorative planters that complemented the color scheme at my home.  The circular driveway solved the difficult problem of getting in and out of our driveway on a busy street.  He utilized the space so amazingly still leaving plenty of areas for decorative planters for bushes and colorful gardening areas.   <br>It changed the complete look of the front of our home.  I love it.  Highly recommend.

Jeff and his crew are amazing!  And this was no easy job.  We wanted brick coping for our new pool.  We had already fabricated the brick to make it look like old brick--a long and tedious process.  We went with fire brick (strong and durable) and tumbled it to make it look old.   We showed Jeff pictures of what we were hoping to achieve and I must say he delivered and then some.   I can be pretty particular about details, but Jeff didn't seem to mind--he listened and implemented my requests.   There was even a moment where they were preparing the corners of the pool--something they had to complete early in the process.  Unfortunately, Jeff didn't have the correct photo of what we were hoping to do with the corners and had prepared all of them.  I came outside and realized they were different from our vision and provided him with the correct photo.  He understood, didn't make me feel like a creep for having a different vision, and implemented the change.  I really appreciated his openness, reliability (always on time), kindness, attention to detail, and his desire to make our vision a reality.  The finished product is GORGEOUS!  It's everything we imagined.  Jeff is the best!

Jeff Arellano was subcontracted by Bob Palacios who had originally specced the job.  The two of them showed up a  few days before the job started to go over the details.  The day of the job his crew showed up on time and worked cleanly and efficiently.  At one point we had to get more rock as I had failed to get enough and we had trouble with a rock yard that I had bought stone from, but he knew where to go and he was able to find much better quality stone for the job.   Every day, at the end of the day, the work area was swept and the rocks put aside.  It was always neat and tidy.  But what was really striking was the exceptional esthetic quality of the workmanship.  Jeff has an artisans attention to detail with a workman's approach to the job.  He is the real deal, a great stone mason with a good eye.  And he's polite, all his crew are very well mannered and they go out of their way to make sure you're happy. <br />
