We hired this company in fall of 2017 to install/replace a mini split unit to a home we had just bought. Upon initial installation, the outside case was cracked and the unit was not installed flush against the wall. It took until 2019 to get the case in from Japan (we were told). In the interim, we used the unit for A/C for the remainder of 2017 while warm, then to heat the room through the winter. When it started to warm up again in Spring 2018, we tried to cool the room and the unit would not cool. We called Argent and they sent out a tech who had to replace the coolant and it worked through 2018 summer. We checked in with the company periodically on the cracked case, but then in Spring 2019 the unit again failed to cool. As it turned out, there was something inside that leaked (coil I think they said). They had to order that part (and others) and came back. At this time, the also finally had the new cover. The unit was completely removed from the wall, “fixed,” and put back up. There was a total of four trips to our house (at least) by this time. After all of the above, the unit is worse off than ever. It doesn’t cool to the set temperature (if we set to 72 it won’t get below 76, not sure it will even get below 76) and it is now even farther off the wall. Below is what it looks like today. We can’t even paint the wall because it is dripping water. Argent wanted to send out another team to reinstall the exact same unit. I said at this point I wanted a new unit and a proper re installation. I was told they would check on my option. That was a week ago and they haven’t bothered to call me back.

I was referred to Bill at Argent by a trusted friend, and he did not disappoint. He responded to my request for a quote very quickly, detailed the work to be done, and explained to me how the process would work. Their prices we're a few hundred to a few thousand dollars cheaper than two other quotes I had for the same product install. The process from quote to install took less than one week. The team arrived when expected, finished on time, and were professional the entire time.

Argent sent a great team of three highly skilled technicians to install our new HVAC System. They met some obstacles with our old system versus installation of the new one but easily overcame them and produced a great installation. They were courteous, friendly, helpful and they got the job done expertly.

They send the same person each time so he knows the system and what to check. They tell me what to look out for as well as change a cumbersome filter.

Tony and Carlos did an excellent job they were efficient, clean and courteous.

We've been having issues.  I did do a report on Angie's List last year or the year before when we had our furnace done, problems with our humidifier pad, so I have given them a review.  We had multiple visits, and as their resolution they promised me a humidifier a couple of humidifier pads, which I have to date never received even though I've called them multiple times.

Argent Heating and Cooling was at my home back in January 2017 to install a new H/C system. Everything is in great shape and running smoothly. The crew that was here worked efficiently to gut the old system and install the new one. They were also professional and treated our home with care as they worked indoors and out. Thanks for the great service and we look forward to working with Argent again.

The team did an excellent job and exceeded our expectations. They completed the work on time, explained how the system worked, and went above and beyond clearing up to install the outside units.

We gave them a budget and they met it in the time when they said they would.

Working with such a competent, thorough, and caring team is refreshing and rare. Excellent job. Patiently walked me through the process and answered all my questions. Laid out clear steps for rebates. Got several estimates and they offered the best full package. Resolved small issues promptly with humility and respect. The whole crew was great.

We were very satisfied with the service and would call again. The technician was very polite and thoroughly explained that the compressor was broken and due to the age of the unit, recommended that it be replaced. He answered all of my follow up questions without my feeling rushed. When I asked for the additional service to look at the function unit, he went ahead and did that as well. He made a few recommendations for the functioning (newer) unit and left all of the prices for the options. The only thing I would recommend is that their techs wear shoe covers. Otherwise, they did a great job from the tech to the office contact.

Terrible. This is not the place to go for help. They are deceptive and dishonest. They say they charge a flat fee of $130.50 for the service call (special price for Angie's list) and labor if they have the right part on the truck plus the cost of the part. So, all labor is supposed to be included plus cost of the part. Sounds fair enough, right? So, we needed a new capacitor as per their tech and for our unit this should be ~$20 retail. However they say the part costs $219 or more than 1000% over retail. We knew this was not remotely the cost of the part and called 4 times to get the make and number of the capacitor to verify reasonable cost of the part. They would not provide this info. After all their games and evasiveness on the phone, sent them $130.50 and $25 for the part and have heard nothing back from them. These are not honest people as they tried to price gouge us and would not even give us a part number. Get any repair you might need done elsewhere!

I cannot stay in my house until Wednesday, it is too hot.

William was knowledgeable of both of our Fujitsu and Carrier systems and did an excellent job locating, isolating, and fixing the issue. Argent, without my help, looked up the Carrier warrenty and sent the appropriate invoice to Carrier leaving on the delta for me to pay. I've had others look at our mini-split systems and ask for the manual - William and team are a nice break from this.
