Arid Masonry, Hardscape and Tile

Peter and Arid Masonry were fantastic. Everything from communication to workmanship was top notch and done quickly at a great price. Call this guy before you go with anyone else. We have a slump block wall that was damaged by tree roots. Peter fixed and straightened out the wall as well as raised it a couple feet all in compliance with our HOA. We couldn’t be any happier with work completed. Top it all off, he is a really nice guy who is easy to talk to and genuinely wants to help you. We highly recommend Arid Masonry!!!

Peter tiled our outdated red brick fireplace and fixed dangerous cracks he noticed in the rear wall of it without any extra charge. He was conscientious and personable. It was a big kid done for a reasonable price. We will definitely use his services again.

We had a complex fireplace issue, and basically had to demo most of it and start over. I called several masonry and fireplace specialists and IF iI got a call back, most of them said they would not touch the job because it was complicated. Peter was extremely responsive in his communication and we ultimately decided to put our trust in him and retain his services. Peter did everything he said he would do - from the scope of work, to the schedule (he finished ahead of schedule), materials and pricing. My husband said to me "I am glad we went with Peter. He reminds me of myself - not intimidated by hard work and he takes on challenges not knowing exactly how he'll do it, but figuring out the solution as he goes." And that's exactly what he did. His communication throughout the project was stellar, and he was patient and informative throughout the process. Our fireplace is truly a work of art, and it reflects the workmanship of a mason who takes pride in his work. I do not write reviews haphazardly and I choose carefully who I put my name behind. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to recommend Peter for masonry work. We will have him back at the house for about 5-6 other projects we will need for him to do! Thank you, Peter. The stucco patch matched very well and the brick repairs, including the rebuild of a planter wall were done seamlessly and well. The work was done in two days. I had estimated two to three. I was very satisfied with the work and the cost was reasonable.

I would recommend him without reservation for his workmanship and professionalism. The finished product is exactly what I wanted, and there was great attention to detail.

The job went beautifully. The repair work was done in such a way that you could not tell the difference between the old and new portion of the block wall. The work site was always kept clean, and Peter ensured that the job was completed to my satisfaction. The crack in the wall was very large, and the materials originally used on the wall were no longer available. Peter adapted to this and in the end, the wall looked great!

Arid did some minor concrete cleaning and repair but bigger job was painting our patio cover. The cover was built several years ago and had been primed but not painted. The primer was mostly worn off and the wood was really dry. Pete made it look like a brand new cover! The paint is so good it feels like a plastic coating and he suggested some really nice decorative details. The whole job was done in a timely and professional manner and we are planning to ask Arid to build a small patio area in another part of our yard.

Contractor did what he agreed to do and more. I had two significant cracks - one of which required removing bricks down to the foundation of the wall. He put in a bond beam to ensure the wall was stable. He walked the perimeter of the entire yard to ensure there were no other cracks - found a couple more and repaired those as well at no extra charge.

Peter did an excellent job! He is a super nice guy and worked hard to fit us into his busy schedule. Despite having his truck break down and the job taking a few days longer than planned, he was able to complete the work and communicated well with us throughout.

Work was done on time and as promised plus some. He cleaned up the detritus left by the previous contractors and left us with a clear and clean patio. He came back as needed to finish any items we asked him to do and he was as much of a perfectionist as my wife.
