After speaking over the phone he identified the most likely cause and had a working plan before he arrived. He got the refrigerator back going for a temporary fix and ordered the parts for the permanent fix. He installed them when they came in a few days later, runs great. Great service overall, explained everything he was doing and what was needed. I have no problem recommending ARK to anyone, and will use them again in the future (hopefully not too soon).

unfortunately Brendan found that the part was out of stock and not be be expected back for approximately a year for this brand, due to COVID. He scoured everywhere and was very pleasant and professional.

Summary: Good service, good communication, reasonable cost, customer-centric business. I would hire again and recommend working with them for appliance repair. The freezer started acting funny - interior light and controller display flashed when the door was opened. Then the display got 'stuck,' the interior light didn't turn on, and (most importantly) it stopped cooling. I called ARK on a Sunday, and they had a technician available on Tuesday. He diagnosed the problem as a bad controller and had to order another one. Thanks to COVID and holiday shipping, it took a week for the new controller to arrive. The technician kept us informed regarding the part's ETA and when he'd be back to install it. When he returned, he swapped out the bad controller, and the freezer started up as soon as it was plugged in and is now operating normally. Happy with the service received.

Received a call and email the evening I made the request on Angie's List. I was not able to call back that day, but called the next weekend. He called back. He set up an appointment to examine the stove. Upon doing so he ordered the heating element and replaced it later in the week. Brendan was prompt and professional. The stove worked correctly. The price was about $260.00. This is not the kind of thing I have much experience getting repaired. I feel the rate is reasonable but don't have other experiences for a frame of reference. Overall I was satisfied with the experience.

Brendan was very professional and actually called me after looking on Angie's List for a repair man. He followed up with emails, called before coming and was perfectly on time. He was very professional and helped me understand that my machine was not broken but I need to do some monthly maintenance on it and use less soap. I'm not sure all repair people would have been this honest. I highly recommend ARK Repair and Brendan!!

My dryer had stopped running right at Christmas of 2016, so I called Brendan at ARK Appliance Repair Service to come diagnose the problem and fix it. He responded to my initial phone message within a few days, we set up an appointment for early January 3, 2017, and he came to the house at the set time to diagnose the problem. He determined that the dryer needed a new motor, quoted me a price, and ordered the part. Brendan did ask for full payment up front so he could order the part. When the part came in, he gave me a call and we set up a time for him to come and install the motor. Brendan installed the motor on Jan. 13, 2017, checked to make sure the dryer ran properly, cleaned up, and explained that he gives a 90 day warranty on the parts and labor if any issues arose. Brendan was always very polite, professional, courteous, and competent. The reason I will not hire him again, though, is because I could not get him to come back to check an unusual high pitched whirring noise in the dryer. When I called and left a message a couple weeks after installation to request that he come check the noise, he called back once and left a message. I then e-mailed and called several times, but he never again replied to my phone calls or e-mail messages. Since Brendan would not respond to my messages, the 90 day warranty is worthless, so I will not hire him again.

Brendon came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. He ordered a replacement ice maker & came out a few days later and replaced the old ice maker. The new out of the box ice maker didn't work properly. I called ARK back again and they quickly responded. The new defective ice maker was replaced the next day and is all is working properly now. I would definitely would hire ARK Appliance Repair again.

Quickly diagnosed (heating element) and repaired within 1/2 hour. Charged $159 labor and $89 for part. Checked online and the part was 50% markup. Excellent work but price was excessive.

Brendan was punctual, courteous , knowledgeable and fixed both appliances to my satisfaction. Price was fair for services rendered. I would use this company again and will recommend it to my friends.

Brendan gave me a 4 hour window to arrive, a whole day earlier than anyone else could fit me in. He called right in the middle of that window and told me when to expect him. He showed up on time, fixed my dishwasher, and showed me that it was working, all in about an hour. He also had an electronic invoice system that was very efficient. I had previously called Capital Appliance Repair in Raleigh (due to their large number of positive reviews), but after 2 negative experiences with them, I checked and they have more than a dozen "F" ratings yet still received a "A." They don't even have a professional answering system. (If it seems too good to true...it probably is.) Brendan, on the other hand, is the one you talk to on the phone and the one who actually does the work. He doesn't farm it out to anyone else. I would definitely hire him again.

I called ARK to look at my 15 year old Kenmore dryer that wasn't heating. Brandon showed up the same day that I called. He took the back off of the dryer and tested until he found the bad part. Thankfully, he had the part on his truck. He fixed it quickly and protected the frame of the laundry room so it wouldn't get dented. (Such a small detail, but it counts). Thank you ARK Appliance. As I said, I will put your information on my neighborhood community page. Hope I don't need you again, but if I do, your business card is on my refrigerator.

My dishwasher was stopping mid cycle and I was frustrated, since it had just passed the warranty period. Brendan presented himself very professional and knowledgable. He knew, quickly, what the problem was. He replaced the computer and it has worked great ever since. It was a reasonable price. I was very happy to have my dishwasher working again. With a family of 6, we go through dishes pretty quickly. I would recommend Brendan to anyone, and will surely call him back if we have another appliance break down.

About a month ago our washing machine ran over and water went everywhere. He was here in about 20 minutes after we called him. He found that something was stopped up and he clear it quickly and was on his way.

He identified himself, his company and greeted our dog. She doesn't take to many people, but seemed to like him. He investigated the issue and found the bad part. He found one at a local warehouse and went to pick it up. After he picked it it up, it was a matter of minutes before I was doing laundry again. I never thought I'd be so happy to do laundry, but I was overjoyed!
