I chose A&R Landworks & Hauling because Allen’s estimate for pouring a 16’x16’x4” concrete pad was among the most reasonable received. It always amazes me the number of contractors out there who submit outlandish estimates. I guess they assume there will be so many other unreasonable bids so they hope no “reasonable” contractor submits an estimate! I was pleasantly surprised with Allen’s estimate which seemed fair and honest, unlike most of the other contractors. After selecting A&R Landworks & Hauling, Allen clearly outlined the process, including the timeframe, payment requirements, etc. There were no surprises, which is a good thing! He scheduled the work crew to begin within a week. The crew showed up on time and went to work immediately. They had the site framed and rebar placed within 2 hours. Everyone on the crew was professional and knew exactly what to do. I cannot imagine any contractor doing a better job. The concrete pad was poured, leveled, expansion joints made

Allen and his team were very impressive. Honest, polite and hard workers. Showed up when he said they would and completed the job sooner than I expected. Cleaned the job site as if they had never been there. Put in two walkways and two small concrete pads. Fair price and honest work, I do not know how a company can be any better than that. I recommend to give Allen a chance to bid your job. I would definitely hire him again.

Hired A&R for some light landscaping and mulch work. They scheduled the job quickly, arrived promptly, and got the job done in just a few hours. Mulch beds look good and at a reasonable price. They also cleaned up any messes they made which is a rarity here in Charleston!

I just moved to the area last month and needed some work done to my concrete walkway in the front of my house. So I got with A&R land works and the work was done very well and efficient . Also his team was very responsive and on time plus the owner Allen Walter’s was very professional with everything . I definitely would recommend them for any future work
