Electrical Wiring or Panel Upgrade
He was patient and polite, showing me what the issue was and how it happened. He was able to do the repair for a reasonable cost.

I was very happy with the work, its Christmas week and he was a able to come out the next day- I had power go out in 2 of the bedrooms. When I talked with him on the phone I also asked if he would be able to put a chandelier up in the dining room while he was here. He replaced an outlet that wasn't grounded and blew, the electrical panel switch then assembled and replaced the chandelier. My house was built in the late 1800's, he found old knob and tube and an old gas pipe fixture stud- he was able to complete the task without any issues. Thank you and Merry Christmas!!

If I could give 10 stars! Nick was fantastic. I received a call with in minutes of making a request on Angie's list. He was able to accommodate the short notice due to needing a receptical put in for a new gas stove and a refrigerator. He was professional and efficient. Nick was able to figure a way to get the wires run in my 150 year old house without having to rip apart everything. I am so incredibly happy and will definitely hire him for my future projects.

I called him on the 14th and asked him how much it would cost to install gfcis and he said 50 dollars and a service fee of 175 dollars. I said fine and to come the next day. On the 15th he came without the hardware to install the gfci so I had him fix a circuit breaker and light switch. He said he would come the next day to install the gfcis which he did and he fixed a power outlet. The gfcis took 30 minutes and the other electrical work took an hour. His hourly rate is 150 and the cost of installing the gfcis is 50 dollars plus the service charge was 175 so I expected to pay 375. Instead he charged me 935.27 and when I argued he said he would seek litigation. Under duress I paid him by credit card 935.27
Response from ARMAC Electric
"This customer is extremely ungrateful. The customer was aware up front what my both my call charge and hourly rates are. The customer tried replacing a kitchen GFCI outlet with a combination USB device. According to him it tripped the breaker & wouldn't reset. There was also a 2nd GFCI outlet he wanted to replace with a USB. I offered to swap him into a spot the next day (Monday). He said his refrigerator was down & requested same-day service. I went down that afternoon. I found he had removed the wire clamp from the new outlet hot, which had pulled free & shorted to the metal box. I repaired that issue & realized he hadn't mentioned the new device wouldn't fit in the box. I loaned him a couple of plastic box extensions so the outlet could be temporarily mounted. The CH breaker was obviously broken (handle wouldn't lock in any position). I had one on the truck & replaced it. The MBR wall switch tested always on (the associated wall outlet was not accessible). I replaced it with a customer-provided used illuminated switch. When it didn't illuminate, he had me replace it with another provided switch. The customer was aware I would have to return the next day with metal surface mount extension boxes for the two USB/GFCI outlets. I returned the next afternoon & properly swapped out the two USB/GFCI outlets. The customer was NOT charged for either the Sunday emergency or Monday priority rates for either the call charge or labor. He was NOT charged for the Monday return trip nor for the 45 minutes I spent locating the extension boxes Monday morning. His bill was $862. He paid by visa & was warned the merchant system would automatically add tax & 2% processing fee. This ungrateful *** had the audacity to suggest I discount the time spent getting parts from the van!"
