Comandor & Antoine showed up within and hour and addressed my issue. They let me watch everything and talked me through start to finish. It was a dirty job, but they did it with a smile and were fun to talk with. They only did what was needed and didn't try to upcharge me for things I don't need. I have been burned before by sewer companies, and it was nice to find a couple guys I can trust. My only complaint is that the AB and Sons website listed "Power rodding starting at $99". I thought this was too good to be true, and it was. The crew wasn't aware of the website price. Turns out that is for rodding regular drains. Be sure to be clear what you need.

OK , was done in half hour, wait 7 hours for service.

It was a great deal and I'm glad we had it done. The crew did the assigned work quickly and efficiently, reporting the results to me and answering my questions about other work. They offered me an alternative for rodding the waste stacks and we are considering it. There was no heavy pressure, just good information and description. It's more expensive than what we are doing now but the technique looked interesting so I will pursue and get back to them. Even if we don't do the hydroblasting we may still use this company for the rest of our work.

Office was very responsive, friendly, & professional in setting up the appointment. A team of two workers showed up on time, explained the task and how they'd perform it, and then set about doing it. They recommended additional work, explaining it clearly; I deferred on the additional work for now as I'm not sure it's absolutely necessary to perform it. My only complaint is that there was a permit fee that was charged for performing the work in the City of Chicago. In fairness, I was told of the fee when I booked the company's services, but if A+ Router works routinely in the City, I now question why this fee is the homeowner's responsiblity.

Not well. I purchased a coupon for $79.00 for sewer rodding by A+ Rooter thru Angies List. They were very prompt on the day of appointment. When learning they had to rod my line from my catch basin which is just under my back porch, they would have to charge an additional $100.00 for not being in a convenient location. after agreeing to pay they attempted to rod from the catch basin but claimed that the line was blocked and they could not continue. I remembered that my line was once rodded from my toliet room in the basement. They said if they rodded from the toliet there was a $200.00 charge to remove & replace it. At this time all their focus was one trying to sell me in having to eliminate the catch basin and connect my sink lines to the main line for $3,800.00. Therefore, my line was not rodded and I ended up paying totally $179.00 for their effort. When hiring a different company and entering the basement toliet room, they IMMEDIATELY spotted a cap on a tile pipe which is right NEXT to the toliet. This is the main stack line in which my line was rodded from by them. There is NO WAY the boys from A+Rooter could have NOT seen or identify it. I will never use their service again.

They did a great job, showed up on time, installed the faucet quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I would hire them again

I'm not a plumber so I can't absolutely say what I needed, but my property was dug up and my fence taken down to get the bobcat in. They left quite a bit of broken pipe and water bottles and their tape measure. The 2 men who were here 2 days were very loud shouting and playing and I hoped my neighbors weren't mad... sorryguys

They didn't remove any tree roots. Like one of the other reviews, it was very shady. They wanted to charge me $50 more dollars to put a camera in the line, when the Deal included the camera. So basically I paid $79.00 for no work done.

They had to do some extensive work. I don't know if it's a reasonable price because I expected to pay much less. I thought they were expensive but I was in a bind. They completed the work in a very short period of time. They gave me a year contract. They rooted the downspout line on side of something rising. They say it was full of mud. I think they say it had a 10 year warranty. I'm not sure if their price was reasonable.It works, but it did seem quite unreasonable.

Ok. On time, showed me the line using televised equipment. Of course they tried to sell me things I needed at a later time, but they weren't pushy and explained as best they could.

The guys had to work to coax the top off the sewer line. After getting the top off, they rodded the line and it seemed to go well. They said no problems. Will use again next year for the maintenance.

Tech was very knowledgeable. Seemed very honest and clarified the problem I am having.. also told me about what would have to happen if the problem returns..... More so than the other plumbers who came out

They had great customer service. They came over in the 2 hour window given. They called before arrival or that they were on their way. The only concern I had was that they were going to leave the tree roots on my front lawn but I brought out the garbage can for them to dispose.

It seems like it went really well.

Service day came and they offered to move the service up to earlier in the day, that worked out perfect for me. The installer came and was very friendly, got right to work and was finished in no time. He even talked me through how he installed it and leveled it out, etc. Total install time was maybe an hour.

It went well. The team came and rodded the sewer as agreed. However the work I needed was not covered under the deal I purchased. They worked with me though and arranged it so that I only paid the difference in price between the deal and work they did so that I didnt have to vo theough the trouble of doing a refund first.

It looks like more extensive work is needed, and I'm grateful that the owner shared his considerable knowledge of Chicago unique waste systems management to get it resolved. It's going to cost more $$ but I feel confident that it's a fair price with the right company.

Their quick response prevented basement from flooding before rainfall started. They were looking to really solve my problem not upsell and make me spend a ton of money as has been my experience with previous companies like these.
