They did a beautiful job. My chairs are like brand new! We did experience a delay, however they did a great job keeping me informed about the delay in receiving the recaning material. We could not be happier with the work -- just beautiful.

Everything was great I was so pleased that they brought my moms chairs back to life. You see my mom has passed away and this really all that she had for us and to know that they will be around for that much longer I feel very great-full and thankful to Chris and your entire staff.

I visited their store in San Antonio and they have a large selection of fabric swatches and drapery examples. They contacted me the day after I visited the store to arrange an appointment.

Chris was extremely prompt in coming out to give me a bid - and I live approximately 50 miles outside of San Antonio. He was very professional, brought several samples books based on the description of what I wanted, and offered excellent advice. The drapes came on schedule, are of high quality and were also hung promptly and well.

Although they project was a bit pricey, the results were of the highest quality. The phrase "you get what you pay for" comes to mind.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience with no hassles whatsoever. I would use them again for other projects of this kind.

Major PLUS: The drapes were actually delivered before expected due date. I have really tall ceiling and tall windows so the drapes had to be custom made. They fit perfectly and what was really nice is the installers picked up after themselves and didn't leave a mess.

The PRICE: I picked a really high-end fabric for my living room which was a bit pricy but they quality is amazing. Better than you can find from any big brand store. No one will have the same curtains as me!! The formal dining was well priced but also a much smaller window.

Customer Service: Please talk to Scott or Chris, they really know their product and are super nice.

They did a fair job but they came back after the job was done and before they delivered the chairs back to us they wanted to charge us extra to have them sanitized and that was supposed to be in the price to get it re-upholstered. I would never use them again. The price was really good. After they were re-upholstered we only kept them a year and a half because of the quality. It was really good material and I know that for a fact but they didn't take the material all the way to the top so the parts we rescued head on kind of napped up a little bit would show this material so in my opinion for what we paid should have been the material all the way up and it never would have shown. The lady that came to our house was really good on PR and made us feel very comfortable.

I have previously used arrow upholstery a number of years ago to re- upholster our furniture when we moved to san Antonio. as we are remodeling our house and up grading our furniture we stopped by their office on St.Mary's street to see about the job we wanted done. we where met by the owner and as we explained what we required he reviewed what they do and stated he would have his sale man stop by to look at our request. and would than be able to quote a price for what we needed done. they where very prompt. very easy to do business with, and all of there employees who arrived to pick up and deliver our re-upholstery very polite . I would rate there service and quality of workmanship as outstanding.

It was excellent. They were very professional, very accommodating. We had a minor snafu with the first set of drapes and that when they were shipped Parkway to Dallas, Parkway to here, and because they were late they gave us a discount. They worked it at our own convenience in here and get them set up and it was really good. Then, the second time, everything went perfect. Their installers are really trustworthy and professional. We were really surprised. We heard about Arrow a lot and figured with a big company like that probably was going to be terrible, but it has been a wonderful experience. We had expensive drapes done, but oh my gosh it was beautiful.

We've used them twice. We've used them for the drapes the first time around and wanted to see how they did with our main living area. Like I said, it's just astounding how beautiful it is and then we chose them to come again and do our master's bedroom suite.

We wanted to have drapes in our living room with 20-ft ceilings. The upper windows are just about 18" from the ceiling. After looking around we decided to have Arrow Upholstery come by and help us pick out the materials and come up with ideas to install custom drapes to create a dramatic effect for the room.
Chris came by and we went through a bunch of material ideas and discussed how high, the style and feel we wanted.
What we came up with and they put together was amazing. After the few weeks of them building the drapes Chris and Larry came over and installed them. The drapes are about 19' and makes this room feel so different. When you walk in it's so dramatic how it takes your eyes up and you get the feeling of how grand the room is. We love how they look!

We've used him for a number of things and we have been very, very satisfied. It is a small company. The price was $150 per chair and he supplied the fabric. We've had very, very positive experiences with him.

We placed an order in November, and they delivered in January. They gave a really personal level of service. We worked with an interior designer on the project we were doing. They had a good selection of fabrics. The quality of the work was really good, but it was really hard to get them to actually come out and finish the work. They kept putting it off multiple times. I had to keep calling them and bugging them to come out.

They came out to the house and I chose their top of the line Shaw carpeting. I also chose their top of the line carpet padding. I had to pay 1/3 down (The project was over $5,000 total). I also went down to the shop and spoke with Sid, the owner. They were very nice when I went in. When they came out to install the carpet I needed to stay out of the home because I have allergies and a small dog. When I came in the carpet looked okay (meaning the color), but I didn't really walk on it before they left. Once they left I realized the carpet had a terrible texture. It was as hard as concrete. I immediately called the owner and he told me "What you see is what you get." I told him that they had not installed the carpet I had chosen. He said they would absolutely not replace the carpet. I had another carpet expert come take a look and they determined that they had actually installed indoor/outdoor carpet and not the high quality material I had chosen. I ended up having the carpeting removed and donated to a local church. When the carpet was being pulled up it exposed the padding they used. This was the cheapest padding available, it had been pieced together even. I took them to small claims court and eventually got this resolved. But this service provider charged on my credit card without my permission. I went ahead and paid for the chairs because I just wanted to be done dealing with them. Sid, called me names and was incredibly unprofessional throughout this whole matter. They have been charged with fraud against the elderly. They are dishonest and completely unprofessional.

The chaise came back fine, albeit it was missing one cushion hook. However, my Basset sofa was completely ruined. They insisted on using foam where there should have been batting and they replaced my inner spring sofa bed mattress with a piece of foam! Naturally you could neither sleep on it, nor even sit on it without sinking almost to the ground. I called the company and they sent a representative out who saw the problem because the upholstery was tearing, and he had the foam mattress replaced with a stuffed one. That helped some and we could actually sit on the sofa, but you still can not sleep on the sofa, because the mattress is not an inner spring, like the original one they were supposed to replace. The whole sofa looks awful, like it is 100 years old! I tried to call Arrow again, but the person I spoke to would not help me with the sofa any more. I feel I was overcharged and then ripped off. I'll never go back.

In a word, fabulous. The estimator was on time, very well informed and guided us to a type of leather that looks great but also is tough and resistant to scratches from our cats and dogs. As promised, the work was complete in four weeks and the quality is outstanding. They do charge a premium price, but the quality of the leather and the workmanship are both outstanding.

Almost scary...to read the other reviews and find they pulled the exact same stuff on us. High pressure, rude, unprofessional, pretending to be someone else on the phone when you call...threatening that if you didn't take their reduced price on fabric protection immediately, the offer would be taken back and you would have to pay more. The fabric I purchased already had protection on it...yet I was told I must have it or the fabric would not stand up...when you are paying hundreds of dollars for this work it makes you nervous.....I foolishly spent yet more money to have this done. Please note that the high scores I gave pertained to how quickly they wanted to set an appointment and then showed up for the appointment....once they have your furniture the rudeness takes over. I cannot begin to explain how we were treated...the owner is without a doubt one of the most abrasive people I have ever run across. The work was marginal and had to be sent back and redone. Owner was extremely gruff and rude, even before the work had to be redone. I was told that the fabric I selected was the problem with the job...I PURCHASED THE FABRIC FROM THEM and it was the fabric suggested by their salesman while he was in my home looking at the furniture, yet he wanted to make the poor workmanship my fault because of the fabric! This was a basic upholstery job, nothing unusual. This is a man that has just had to pay over $100,000.00 in fines for fraud, pertaining to his business ethics...you would think he would like to start rebuilding his business not further destroying it. Please pay attention to the reviews ...that is why we are members of Angie's List. We had a miserable experience and average upholstery work. It was so much aggravation and stress. Go to KSAT-TV and type in Arrow Upholstery. That should answer any questions you might have about the integrity of the company, don't take our word for it.... you can see what the legal system had to say. This story just took place in July 2009 and further charges are still pending...

I chose Arrow because of their advertising and length of time in business. The person who spoke to me on the phone and set up the appointment was very nice, but later used another name when I called, to try and conceal his identity. He has a very distinctive voice, so it was obvious that he was lying about who he was. The salesman who came to the house with fabric samples gave me an estimate, but said he couldn't leave until he called his supervisor. Then he said the supervisor wanted to talk to me. The supervisor told me he would make a "deal" just for me, and cut the price from $2,500 down to $1,999, but I had to say yes that day. I really wanted the furniture done before Thanksgiving, and he promised it would be done, so I said yes. They also said they would finance it, but I thought I would be paying Arrow---not a different company, which is what ended up happening. It was a mess. Two days before Thanksgiving, I still didn't have my furniture, so I called and that's when the man tried to pretend he was someone else on the phone. They delivered my furniture the day before Thanksgiving--it took them a little over 3 weeks to complete--and it looks OK, but not great. I doubt if I will ever use them again, not because of quality but because of their attitude.

The decorator came out to look at the items and provide a sample of materials to consider. Overall, this part of experience was ok although I was surprised at the cost. The chairs were picked up quite quickly and returned in about two weeks. Overall, the quality of their work was satisfactory. However, I was called by the owner who suggested that I consider a stain-guard be applied to the material. I agreed to that despite what I felt was a rather high cost for the same. My frustration with this company was in attempting to obtain a complete bill, reflecting the cost of the upholstery, as well as the application of the stain guard, and their applicable sales taxes. I was shocked when I was told by the owner that this was NOT done. Creating a summary statement reflecting all charges and sales taxes was not available. I did have a credit card receipt for the reupholstery charge, but not the associated sales tax and had nothing to reflect cost of the stain-guard. Finally got it.

They are very misleading and cheat you out of what you were supposed to get from them. They only put on the corner boards with out drapes and one of the bed spreads was bigger than it was supposed to be. Do not trust this company.

He took me to the cleaners. He said I would have a showplace, and I was high pressured over the phone. They sent an interior decorator to give an estimate, which was all I was asking for. They would not let me back off. They pressured me and pressured me and he said that he was giving me a bottom line offer, and said he would beat anybody else's price. This started at 10 in the morning and wouldn't finish until 5:30 in the afternoon. Now I have nothing on my windows except the trim. I thought I was getting full window treatments, and that was the impression he gave me over the phone. I wanted them to stop the job, but they wouldn't and said they had an order to follow. They said the boss wasn't available and went ahead and finished. I was not satisfied with the job.
