AR Sealcoating

Roy Acey Of AR Sealcoating had done work for us in the past on our last home. Some garage floor repair seal and epoxy. Did a great job. We just purchased a new home so I called him to help us out with our back patio. Originally we wanted him to just resurface and add to the existing concrete patio to stop the water from settling. As the conversation went on we had come to the conclusion we also wanted to fix the shaping of our patio and add to it. Roy convinced us that he could do just as good a job with ASPHALT instead of concrete. He did offer to refer us to his concrete guy but because we have done business with Roy in the past I wanted to continue to work with him since we know him. I was under the impression that we would have an asphalt patio similar to an asphalt road but in the shape of a patio. Per our conversation he would fix the water settling, add to it, SEAL it, and paint it with a special asphalt paint in gray to make it look like concrete. No sealing was done whatsoever, I took a leaf blower to clear some leaves away and it blew away half of the asphalt coating. It rained one day and destroyed everything he did. Its uneven. All he did was spray paint it. I walked on it one time the next day and the coloring went way. the edges are destroyed, there no shape or form to it. It literally looks like a pile of uneven, discolored, filled with holes spray painted gravel. We paid him almost $5000 for something that literally did not even last 4 days and was no where near what we talked about. After I addressed this with him he ghosted me. Has not answered any calls or texts or voicemails. I have had 3 other paving companies come out to see if they can fix it and they all said we got extremely ripped off. We need some kind of resolution. That was all the money we had for that. We were trying to fix it in time for my daughters birthday. My wife is depressed about it. She was really excited. I sincerely thought we could trust this man. I thought he was going to make it right. Never again.

Coating started to peel within a week, now he won't respond. In fact, he got angry with me for texting him about it. Was friendly, on time and guaranteed his work for two years, sounded like professional. I was wrong.

its terrible, everything is falling apart, its not straight and its rough. The grass sprouting through it. He told me that he used a wrong mix of asphalt and he promise to go back and use the right mix but he never came back.

The work was done well and in a very professional manner.

It was great. They were nice gentlemen, very professional, they cleaned up, they work good together, everything was cleaned up, and the job was quality work.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSONAL AND ON TIME AND VERY POLITE AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE JOB AND IF I HAD ANY PROBLEMS TO CALL THEM AND THEY OULD MAKE IT RIGHT..GREAT GUYS
