Firstly, the movers called to say they were en route & would be running early (an admirable feat coming from Fairfax, VA) to start loading. Very refreshing in & of itself! Once they arrived, the 3- man team was courteous, knowledgeable & meticulous. They helped to pack when needed, asked what specific items would be loaded & re-confirmed when necessary. After the unloading, they checked to make sure no stone was unturned. All in all, I would recommend this company based on workmanship, reliability & integrity! A + movers all the way around! Continued success in all your endeavors!

Excellent! I was very apprehensive that all my 'stuff' would not fit in one container. These guys knew how to efficiently pack the box. They also were very careful to securely wrap and pack all the furniture with blankets using lots of tape strategically used. I thought they were very profession, polite and communicative (basically nice and responsible folks). I highly recommend this company!

They were prompt, showed with four guys and two smaller trucks which worked out excellent (16' or so). We asked them to help with a secondary house and they were happy to do it for an hourly fee at that point. Really great guys, not a ding in the new house and not an item broken that we've found so far. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They were able to handle big things like ellipticals and large dining room tables, beds, etc...

Everything went well. Showed up on time and worked quickly while still being very careful with boxes and furniture. Movers were very friendly and polite. No complaints at all about the service and would be happy to hire again if needed.

We were scheduled for arrival between 2-4pm but they called the day before to ask if an earlier arrival time worked for us, which was perfect for us. So they actually arrived at 10am. As soon as they arrived they were ready to start working, with little to no down time; only took one "actual" break at our urging to eat lunch. They were polite and gentle with our belongings. Explained all charges, as well as additional charges prior to starting the move. Pricing was fair and worth it because they made the move so much easier for us. Definitely recommend using this company and will use them if we need to move locally again.

The move was professionally done. All items arrived unscathed and ARS made special arrangements to successfully move our wine. Significantly, the cost was about 60% lower than estimates we received from other "big name" movers. Also, instead of an estimate (fraught with potential add-ons), we received an all-in, firm price commitment. We knew from the beginning what we would paid, and that was what we paid. Although we hope never to have to move again, if we do, we'll definitely call ARS.

FABULOUS! 2 prompt, professional movers took 2 hours with great attitudes, in 92F heat at end of day, during holiday weekend to complete a very smooth move! Furniture well wrapped. 2nd kid that I've moved with ARS in 2 months! Highly recommended but I've run out of kids to move.

Our ARS movers (Nick, TJ, and Vadim) were great. They arrived on time, worked diligently, packed our goods VERY well (utilized plenty of protective blankets and bubble wrap), and were exceptionally careful moving our goods into our new home -- which has 4x floors of narrow staircases. In stark contrast to several other contractors we have utilized throughout this move (new appliance and furniture deliveries, etc.), ARS did not leave a scratch on our walls. A job I expected would take 5-6x hours our ARS team completed in 4x hours. We would highly recommend them to others and book them for any future moves of ours (which, hopefully, will not occur for several years to come).

Had to hire this company at the last minute to complete a move that we were unable to finish in one day as planned. They were professional and efficient in moving our belongings, including fragile items.

The 3 guys Jake, Renat and Nick were excellent. They were very professional and efficient. The moving day was rainy and we had to deal with a few issues like the elevator not being locked off at the place I was moving from and the complex making them move down 2 flights of stairs and out of the side door for an hour. But thru all of that drama, the guys never complained and just continued working hard and as fast as they could. I would definitely hire them again. I will say one thing however. I bought the deal for 3 guys and truck for 4 hours for $459.00 but it did not include extra materials like taping, wrapping or boxes. Also any additional time was $95.00 hour. So I would recommend buying your own wrapping materials and extra tape so you won't have to pay for that stuff.

Two men arrived on time, were polite, professional, and extremely competent. The items were heavy, bulky pieces and these men were amazing. The work was completed within the time frame of the AL Big Deal purchased. Excellent service all around, we would highly recommend them and certainly will call again for similar needs.

They were great. I'm actually probably going to use them again to just relocate some stuff that's in my house. They were punctual and they finished everything within the four hours. They were really struggling with that bed when they were pulling it apart. Yet they still did it within the four hours. I really thought that they were going to sit there for the next 2-3 hours. Four hours was there and they were done. Everything was done right and I like them a lot.

Excellent in every way. The two men who helped us were courteous, strong, energetic, positive and as helpful as they could be. Everything got done. We bought their services as a "special offer" for Angie's List customers, so the price couldn't be beat! I will definitely check with American Relocation Services first for all my heavy duty lifting projects and of course, if we should ever move, they will be my first call.
