I feel like it was not a good deal. They told me I needed a new roof. They were professional and took pictures. But, I can get any company to come out and tell me that I need a new roof for free. Most places don't charge for estimates. I felt like it was an honest evaluation, but I didn't get much for my money. It was a little misleading. I thought they would replace some cracked tiles or make minor repairs. It was only an inspection, not an actual tune-up.

The representative was willing to meet at our convenience.  He showed us our options and we didn't feel overwhelmed.  The crew showed up at each house for three days.  They cleaned up every day.  The minimal concerns that we had, i.e. a broken pool part from tile falling, were addressed immediately.  And the roofs were inspected after the work was complete as well as the grounds. <br /> The pricing was competitive. <br />

It went well, but I just had to wait for about 3 months as he was backed by the deal.

Everything seems great so far. They were very professional.

The roof is fine and I asked them if they could do some stuff for my covered patio. They put some hot asphalt where the patio was meeting the house and whatever they did didn’t hold up and it didn’t really work.

This was an Angie's deal and I do not remember the cost. <br />  I had had some minor leaking around the exhaust hood vent and another leak seemingly from around a vent on the roof in close approximatety to the kitchen sink during the past year or two, which is why I had purchased the deal. The shingles have a 30 year guarantee, the roof is about 12 years old. Several months ago I called Arthur King to schedule the inspection, a few days later I was aware someone or someones on the roof of my home. I did not receive a phone call or any sort of inspection report so assumed there issues, areas or concernfound or areas in need of repair, until the first monsoon/storm this summer.  When went ariund 4:00 or 5:500 I sI woke up to find  flooded floor and water pouring out of my ceiling in both those areas in my kitchen.  Despite my best efforts at cleaning up the 6 plus incomehes of water, setting spoke to the The water leaks around the vents in the kitchen was must likely due to the high winds as th.  Every at had also happened to many other homeowners for the first time with these storms. I would be more confident on that being the cause if these storms had been the first time. Everyone I spoke with at Arthur King were pleasant, and they did not charge me for the additional work, but I am not confident have thar aae problem has been located and repaired.o <br />

The biggest challenge was finding time to schedule them.  I called, and did not receive a message back for quite a while.  By the time I did, I was in the throws of my busy time at work, so I didn't call them back.  I then called much later, and again did not receive a timely response.  However, once I was able to book them, I received a business card from the contractor with whom we were dealing with directly--and response times were much more rapid.  They were courteous, efficient and did great work.  My only concern is that I may have a slight leak in the repair they did over my patio, but it hasn't rained enough to confirm.   <br />

Everything turned out well.  The gentleman was professional and pleasant, arrived on time, and did a good job with the repairs to the roof.  He also did a good job of cleaning up after himself.

The roof inspection and power wash was done on time, professionally.  Based on that, because I wanted a 5-year warrantied flat sprayed-on roof refurbishment, I ordered that from Arthur King Roofing, despite the fact I had never actually been contacted by Art King himself. The price ($4,200) seemed reasonable, though one of my neighbors said it was quite high. <br /> The refurbishment work (a flat roof seal-coat) was done on time (while I was away on vacation, as I requested); I was not home to view the work's being done, but I assume it was--I haven't climbed on the roof myself to inspect it because I'm 70-years old, and besides, I'm not a professional roofing inspector.  I had some difficulty getting Art King Roofing to issue me the promised 5-year warranty paperwork, but after I complained, I got a 5-year warranty paper. Who knows how much it is worth? <br /> I have absolutely no idea how well the roof refurbishment went, or will hold up.  Only 5-years of wear and tear will let me know that. I have lived in my  house over 35 years, and in that time, I have had 2 roof repair jobs go bad, and the contractors involved were out of business by the time I needed to call on their so-called "warranties".  So I am extremely skeptical of any work done by any roofing contractor in the Phoenix area, including Art King.  I have no reason to believe that Art Kind Roofing is any different from the roofing contractors I have used in the past.  I'm at the mercy of the weather, and at the mercy of Art King's financial situation over the next 5 years   <br /> Would I use Art King again?  Who knows?  Ask me again in 5 years. <br /> I have given this contractor a "B"  on most things, mostly because I have no reason to believe that Art King will be in business in 5 years, and no reason to believe he won't.  So I guess I'm just splitting the difference between an "A" and a "F", with a little bit of grace toward the higher end. <br />

They were prompt and finished job quickly.  Kept me informed of progress and repair/replacement needs. <br />

The service turned out very good. They got in touch with me within 24 hours, they came out a week later when we made the appointment, and it worked out fine. We had purchased the big deal for $39, and we decided to use them for additional work, and they gave us credit for part of the deal. We paid $3000. They were responsive, and seemed to give good service.

I must have called 5-6 roofers out before I finally got a hold of Art King Roofing.  I needed a estimate I had been fighting with people that sold me this house about roof repairs they had done in the middle of closing that were leaking  causing even more damage. On top of that they had left me with a wind turbine that when it got windy the whole block could hear my turbine squeaking.   <br /> At first I contacted Art King Roofing just for a quote on a Wind Turbine. Everyone else was $200-300 for just a wind turbine.  Art King Roofing did my turbine for $100, Because of my convenient location to where they were and while out gave me an estimate on the things I needed done on my guest house / patio roof. Justin was the one that came out he did a great job with my turbine and even checked everything else out to ensure there were no other uknown leaks. <br /> I called back later that week about my estimate for the patio / guest house. I then met with Art to go over everything in person 1 more time.I wasn't sure all what I was going to get done, But he really helped me figure out my options and worked within the budget I had set out for me by the people that screwed up the work the first time. <br />  He actually came out 2-3 more times as I was unsure and had several questions and he was very patient about it. I could tell they were very busy, But that did not take away from the attention I was given or the quality of work. <br /> I finally chose a course of how to move forward with everything replacing parts of the guest house and totally tearing down and basically rebuilding the patio roof short of the frame itself. I have basically mostly new wood now on my patio roof and I went up and looked at the work it looks great. <br /> Justin came out the day of the bigger job with another worker they tore off my flat patio roof and some other stuff and Art showed up to see how everything looked under it. Things were different then he thought they would be it turned into more of a difficult job, But he did not penalize me for it ( thank you! ) as far as money goes he only made me pay for the extra material which is totally reasonable considering it was 3x more pieces of plywood than what was originally agree'd on and also a little extra wood here and there. <br /> They did a good job at clean up and when I went up to look at the work on the roof it looked great. <br /> Im very happy I found Art King Roofing I would probably still be trying to figure out how to get all this work done if I had not. <br /> If your having roofing problems give Art King Roofing a call today they will make them go away and simplify everything for you. Don't get frustrated if they are busy or take a little while to get back to you they want your business they are just extremely busy, Because of the fact they are a good company. I saw reviews of people upset Art couldn't get right to them. <br /> My work was done on a Sunday that is how busy they are and that is how commited they are to customer service as I really wanted to get the work done ASAP and they totally made it work even though they are booked up for the next 2 weeks at least.
