Initially OK, but I had problems later with the irrigation system (lawn and plants), because the lines and were buried too shallow. <br />

It was awful.  I could have had my teenagers do the job.  They seemed like they hired just anybody.  One guy did all the work and I gave a rack and other tools to the other guy to finish.  He seemed like he didn’t want to be there.  The one who did the work was professional.

They put in a drip system that has leaked from the beginning. Lines have come up from the ground and I have to dig and put them back in. Mushrooms are growing where the leaks are. The plants died from not getting enough water from the drip system. The connections to the faucet are too short and don't even reach. <br /> <br /> I've tried calling them ever since and they kept saying they'd come and they didn't show. Then he had some family issues, so I didn't call him for a while so he could handle that. Eventually someone came out and looked at the lines, and said they'd come out to repair it, but never did. <br /> <br /> Also, after I paid him, we said he'd do my mother's yard for me since I overpaid him for $1000. He's asked me for the address 2-3 times but never complied. <br />

They came out last June to put in a drip system.  They started the work but did not finish it and I have been trying to get them to come out and complete the work ever since.  The line that runs to the back was promised to be buried.  Not only is it not buried, it is draped over the fence. They give me nothing but excuses if I can even get them to return my call which isn't often.  The drip system that they installed is not working properly because it floods my neighbors yard.  When they did come out they trampled some of my plants and never mentioned it to me.  They came out only put the drip system in for the new plants instead of for the entire landscape which I wanted.  This is by far the worse contractor that I have ever had to deal with.

I purchased a big deal coupon for this company.  It's very hard to tell the benefits.  I had to do some deep root watering to the same trees to keep them going.  We had such a dry Spring last year.  They were nice, they came out.  They did their thing.  It was hard to tell what the results were from what they did.  That's not their fault really, they just injected some chemicals into the roots of the tree.  I just don't know, I can't tell.  I have no way to measure.  The trees didn't die, they survived.  They had a lot of stress since then.  I assume it helped them to resist all the stress.  A service like this is just really hard to evaluate other than the fact that they were obliging and did the work they promised.

Didn't show up twice and kept making excuses. Finally came out and did the job on the third appt. <br />

Communication should be better from Sean to us, and from Sean's workers to Sean, and from Sean's workers to us. On repeated occasions, his workers would tell us they would be here on such-and-such a day, at such-and-such a time, to take care of such-and-such things ... and then not show up. Nor did they call to tell us of the change. Now, one time they were at the sod harvesting location with a broken tractor/harvestor, apparantly out of cell phone range, so that wasn't their fault. But another time the fellow with the pickup truck who was to come and finish laying 30 more rolls of sod on a Thursday didn't show up until about a week later. We also were told that the workers would bring a trailor to pick up ALL the debris and haul it away, but instead of a larger trailor to take it ALL away, it was delegated to the guy with a pickup truck, and he couldn't fit it all in, and only made the one trip to the dump, so I was stuck with quite a bit of debris I had to deal with.on my own. Additionally, the crew leader told us twice that one of the crew would be back to power wash our cement driveway when they completed their job...that was not done. We furthermore had been told we would receive two somewhat larger rocks to be delivered by two of his workers for our front yard...but they have not arrived. And, the days after one of the vine-type vegetations was translplanted it died, and I notified Sean that a replacement needed to be transplanted in. That has not been done, either. It appears that the crew leader and Sean are not communicating with each other sufficiently. I gotta say, I like Sean, and his designs, and his plans; but I personally could not be in this business if I could not find a more professional crew leader to supervise better, and some (not all) better trained workers than the less-than-completing-the-assignment guys we experienced.  So, I'm giving this truthful but mixed review. For my tastes, I would not use them again as is. I hope Sean will succeed in his business, and I hope he can get quite a few working improvements in communication, completion, and crew leadership. <br />

The one tree with the worst infestation improved dramatically by the next growing season.  The other two made good improvement also. <br />

The three trees were treated.  One of the trees has responded to mites, the large pine stills has bores or something causing sap to drip and the other tree may have to be taken out due to the tree getting worse. I would like the provider to come back and address the pine tree,I think it is worse and I do not want to have this tree removed!  If provider an fix pine tree I would change my rating. <br />

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and they were alright.

Injected wrong tree, but was prompt in returning and injecting the correct tree. Very friendly and knowlegeable. Would be happy to do business with them again. <br />

They did a great job and cleaned up all the mess.  I would use them again. <br />

overall, our experience with this company was good. <br />

Work was performed as agreed upon.  It's too early to tell if it worked. <br />

This was an Angie's list big deal and it was worth it.  One tree of mine is still sick but I've since had another guy come out and tell me that it will take more than just the one injection it already had, and so I don't blame the guy from Artistic, I just couldn't remember his company's name.  The other trees that had injection are thriving and look better than last year.  I will probably call Artistic back and have them give an estimate on more injections as the other one I got from the other company was very high.   I would recommend this company and the gentleman who came out to the house and did the injections was very knowledgeable about trees and very professional and nice. <br />

I don’t blame the tree service, but I did end up losing the tree.  I think my tree just needed more professional treatment than I got.  I thought this service would help; I personally couldn’t tell if it helped much, but the tree may have just been too far gone to be able to be helped.  I do wish they had called back to check on me to see how the tree was doing.

Contractor arrived right on time, communicated very well via cell phone, was efficient and thorough and did a very complete professional job. <br />

I purchased company services through Angie's Big Deal. Knowing that I <br /> needed a lot of weeding and overgrowth removed, I purchased two deals. <br /> Two older teenage boys arrived to do the work.  Both boys were pleasant <br /> and responsive to instruction.  One boy seemed more mature and in <br /> charge. It was hot, and the second young man seemed to stop a lot and <br /> just stand around. The amount of work that was accomplished was just <br /> average,  The boys did sack and remove the debris. It appeared that the <br /> boys did just surface work  rather than deep weeding as I requested , so <br /> most of the weeds grew back. <br /> I asked the boys, at the beginning of the work, to ask the owner to come out to give an estimate on a more <br /> extensive landscaping project. There never was any kind of response. <br /> The work was slightly below average and I would not use this company again. <br />

They got the job done, did the yard clean-up and we had no problems.

Owner did not come to view the work to be done nor did he come to see <br /> how well his workers completed the job. Since this was purchased for a <br /> given number of hours, it was up to me to guess how much time would be <br /> needed to complete tasks. While the cleanup work was reasonably good, <br /> the hedge trimming ended when the clock ran out (on a long line of <br /> hedges, a portion was complete, the rest were left as they were). Again, <br /> I think the primary issue here is that the owner is too "hand's off" <br /> where the jobs are concerned. He might provide a good + service if he <br /> went out, estimated the time needed and then checked on how well the <br /> work had been done by his employees. <br />

Artistic tree service made the drive to Santa Fe for a nominal fee. This was completely worth it, and saved me hundreds of dollars. They looked carefully at all my trees and provided the right injections for each one. 6 months later, my trees look great. <br />

I didn't give him permission to trim my tree, and they ended up destroying my tree cutting off its biggest branches. They cleaned out the bushes ok but they didn't blow off the lawn.
