We hired Art Vandelay Painting to redo an entire home paint job done incorrectly by a previous contractor. Extensive damages had been done to our doors, trims, mantle, and other areas of our home, and we needed a team of pros that would be able to come in and fix it. After that previous experience, we were anxious and frustrated when looking to hire someone new. However, when Alex came for our consultation, he was extremely calm, clear, and direct, and he articulated the best way forward to ensure that we reached the finished product we'd hoped for. His transparency, organization, and no B.S. way of communication were what we needed. Based on their extensive knowledge of painting techniques, the Art Vandelay Painting team repaired the damages that the previous contractor had done. In addition, their fantastic attention to the most minor details showed in their work. They managed to fix elements that we hadn't even considered or noticed initially, and we were extremely grateful! Most importantly, their team exercised deep personal care for our property and time. The team had a clear work schedule, arrived on time each day, and had a well-thought-out plan that was easy for us to follow as the work progressed. Further, they did an excellent job with prepping the house, patching areas for fixes, and cleaning up each day and at the end of the project. We were in daily communication with Alex on updates, so we remained on the same page throughout the project, and they were very receptive to our comments and feedback. Their way of doing business truly helped ease our nerves after the previous bad situation.
