Arrived much later in the day than promised. Took longer than estimated, but work time estimate was clearly too optimistic. Tech worked efficiently and professionally. Good quality work, good looking and solid gate. Left a little bit of mess.

From estimate to completion, everything was great! An estimate was given without me having to be there AND without having to put my dog in his kennel. (That was the 1st great thing) I received a phone call & email to make sure everything was explained. I had lots of questions & each of them was addressed quickly & without making me feel like I was bothering them. Once we decided on using AGAN, they set up an install date. The installation guys showed up on time & ready to work. I was quoted 2-3 days for completion & they finished in 2 days (even with my neighbor forgetting to leave their dogs in the house which halted demo day). The end result is a gorgeous fence! It's so pretty! Thanks, AGAN!!

Communication was wonderful. They were quick to respond and send a quote and were also patient while I waited for quotes from other providers. Once I had my mind made up, Ann was able to schedule the work for the following day. She called to let me know exactly who was going to be completing the project and what time they were going to arrive. The work was completed quickly and the quality was excellent.

THEY CALLED TO ADVISE THEY WOULD COME OUT ON THURSDAY, JUNE 30 TO REMOVE AND HAUL AWAY THE OLD FENCE AND DIG THE HOLES FOR THE NEW FENCE. THEY ALSO REMOVED AN OLD CONCRETE BLOCK FOR ME! THEY THEN RETURN ON JULY 1 TO INSTALL AND STAIN THE NEW FENCE! THEY WERE SO FAST AND EFFICIENT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! <br />

The service provider tried to over charge on sq. ft. Big hassle. But the big problem is that the treatment didn't last. They came back the following year for free which was nice but it still didn't last. Just not worth bringing them out a third time. <br />

"We've done over 12,000 projects since 1995, we have an A+ rating with the BBB and over 400 Angie's List "A" ratings. Our customers satisfaction, before, during and after the job is complete is VERY important to us. This customer questioned our measurements of his deck so we scheduled a meeting for our technician to meet with him to remeasure it. The original measurement was confirmed as correct by he and the technician. This customer wanted a clear sealant on his deck. Because of the humid Houston climate, we knew that this was a bad sealant selection and recommended a semi-trans stain. We let him know before we accepted his project that the clear sealant would keep his deck protected for a couple years but would allow the wood to weather naturally. He still selected the clear sealant. He called us a year later to tell us what we had already told him would happen and despite the fact that we had already told him it would happen and had advised against it... We went back and completely redid his entire deck for FREE. Most customers would consider this, GREAT customer service."

Set up appointment. Came on time. Seemed to be through. Cleaned up and left. <br />Really added great appearance to overall back yard. Would definitely recommend the <br />Procedure and thus compant..remonder.. the price was for ONE side of the fence. <br />

<p>The company provided a quick and fair quotation using photos and measurements that I provided of the deck along with a description of the services I was requiring. Upon my acceptance of the quote, the work was scheduled that week.</p> <p>When the technician arrived, he assessed that due to the previous staining job being performed on wet pressure treated wood that we would need to use a different type of stain product than was originally quoted. The difference in price was ~$50 and we mutually agreed to the change in scope.</p> <p>The technician performed the cleaning on the first day. The cleaning consisted of a blower to remove any large debris and a pressure wash with a cleaning solution.</p> <p>The staining occurred on day two and was applied with a gas-powered sprayer. We had chosen a Sherman Williams Solid Color Traditional Russet Superdeck Stain. As Good As New offered a 3 year warranty for this product.</p> <p>Upon completion, the technician and I walked the job and looked for missed spots. We found none. He then gave detailed instructions on how to care for the new stain and told me to call if we had any issues during the warranty period.</p> <p>Overall a very positive experience with As Good As New. </p> <br />

"Here is the offer (Angie's List Big Deal copied and pasted from the Angie's List Big Deal webpage) that the member is referring to and was provided to him BEFORE he purchased the Big Deal from Angie's List. As you can see, it CLEARLY states that the Big Deal is for ground level iron and states the additional charge for 2nd story iron: Deal is good for up to 100 linear ft. of iron fence painting. Longer fences may require an additional charge. This service consists of a 3-step process; 1)Sanding to remove rust and flaky paint. 2)Chemically cleaning iron to remove dirt, oil, mold and mildew. 3)Painting iron 2 coats flat black with a special paint made by Sherwin Williams for iron fences OPTIONAL services and fee's if the service is performed at the same time as the iron fence painting. * Additional footage over 100 linear ft will be priced at $6.89 per ft(ground level iron) and $9.89 per ft(2nd story iron) * Custom colors using Sherwin Williams paint will be priced at $2.50 per ft extra. * Gate adjustments using existing material will be priced at $80.81 each * Landscaping removal(dirt from bottom rail, bushed, vines, etc... will be priced at $ 35.00 per man hour required(haul off NOT included) * Pool covering fee is $ 50.00(optional) * Additional trip charges will be priced at $80.81 each for customer delays such as; gate locked, dog in yard, no electricity, no water, color changes, pre-site visits requested by customer, etc..."

This work was performed several years ago, but Angie's List pops up that I have to review it everytime I log in over the past year, so here I go. The job was sloppy. They came out to redo and prep better but I still thought they did not do a quality job. They had to have a guy pick up the job who typically worked out of Dallas. I ended up with paint in a few places on my brick columns. The fence has already started peeling again and it's been between 2 1/5 and 3 yrs. I've since learned that the prep work is super important to do this job right. I went with a different company when I needed to get my pool fencing painted this year. We shall see how that holds up. <br />
