Ashley's Landscaping is a good company. The owner Wes came out as promised to check for sprinkler heads that needed replacing. There were four. It was $65.00 to test the system. My mistake was not asking how much the repair would cost. It turned out being $30.00 per head to install plus $10.00 for each head. You can buy sprinkler heads at most home repair stores for $3.00 to 8.00 each. Companies usually charge a flat rate to repair plus the costs for parts. The owner Wes was efficient and very friendly but took a little too much time between when he left to get parts and when he started the repairs. He was mindful of our drought situation while checking for leaks and broken heads. I would recommend them but be sure you know the exact circumstances and costs before you proceed. He offers a discount.

Wes and his crew did a great job, replaced the broken heads in a timely and efficient manner. Arrived as promised, final price was within estimate range, work was great. Would recommend to anyone & will use again if needed.

I signed a contract for sod, irrigation, and landscaping on 6 February, 2018. It is now 25 May, 2018, and the sod job has yet to be completed. The owner was not prepared to install the irrigation system immediately on the day of closing, a rain storm hit, washed out the level, and he charged me for leveling. HOWEVER, he only leveled the front yard, did not inform me of a ditch in the back, and as the sod has slowly been planted, it now is unable to be mowed. The entire sod job is still incomplete at this point and while I've pinged him multiple times, he keeps giving me the "next week" answer or "there's no sod in the city." Well, I don't buy it, and I've paid for goods. When I paid the deposit, he asked for the other half of the bill because he needed to buy the rest of the sod. I found that strange, but I paid him. Huge mistake. I'm not left with a job that I'll have to pay another company to repair. Initially, my request was for hydromulch, and he told me he'd do sod. I thought that was such a great deal I accepted and signed the contract for sod. If he responds, don't let him fool you, the contract is sod. I also warned him one of the trees was leaning heavily, he told me he'd fix it. He didn't, and it fell over. I had to get my property manager out there to have him fix it. All of this is happening while I'm deployed...when he assured me he'd get it done right. Here's the last e-mail he sent about the incomplete job: "We charge 2500 for the hydro seed verse sod. The whole job has cost me out the bank on buying sob we recently put 2 more pallets 2 weeks ago. There is one more palette that it needs in the fence just made it more I'm going to need a little help on the remaining sod. I was 3 pallets short of the 2500 dollars. That yard should have been $3,800 in Grass alone but we did what we could for 2500 you got a good deal. The weather washed all of that dirt onto the grass that's not our problem the backyard is the only spot that needs a little bit more grass Sent from my Verizon LG Smartphone" That's not my problem. I signed a contract for sod. I can't put attachments here or I would show you. I've attached photos of the leaning tree, uneven laydown job, and what it looks like three months later. If you are a builder, military, or literally anyone else who may need to use...heed my advice. Go elsewhere. Spend the extra cash.

"we did everything that we told you we would do we tried to get you hydroseeding for the same cost as Sod. we ended up being short and he expected us to cover the whole rest of the expense. accidents do happen we're sorry for your inconvenience."
