We purchased this package for $299.00. The mover was supposed to provide a 16 ft truck, a 3 man crew and 3 hours of continuous moving labor. He arrived with the truck and one other man. They loaded and delivered our daughter's items to her new apartment. Duane then asked her for an additional $290.00, in cash, because the move had gone over the three hours. He also charged from the time he left his place of business because we were 'out of area'. His ad said her serviced a 50 mile radius. Per GOOGLE maps, we are 27 miles from his business address. Apparently, there was an additional $95.00 fee (originally waived because we purchased through Angie's list) but we were no longer eligible because the move went over 3 hours. Pretty disappointed.

Good very good, the guys were very good, worked hard. Good they worked their tails off.It wasn't I didn't feel that it was about them, either I missed it or it wasn't clearly stated that the drive time to and from wasn't included in the price, as for their service they worked their tail they worked really hard I would use them again.

Very good job! Three guys and a truck for $299. We paid $268 extra for the additional time, the use of plastic wrap, an a couple of mattress' bags.

They were wonderful, showed up early and stayed late (even when we weren't expecting things to take so long). They did not complain at all to make multiple stops and only charged $20 (we were moving 4 separate people in to ONE house!). They took care of all furniture and did not stop working until the job was done! Great guys, amazing work, and reasonable price!

We bought the AL deal for $299 for 3 men for 3hrs to help move our belongings out of our 2 bd apt into new home (about 1 mile away). Apartment on 4th floor, with awkward access to elevators (across parking garage). The three guys called as promised when they were on their way and arrived within the expected window (by about 8AM). They were all very polite, friendly, courteous, but most importantly, <b>efficient and hard working</b>. They loaded all of our belongings very quickly but carefully. <i>We hired a <b>different company</b> a few weeks later</i> to move stuff from our storage unit into the house, and we did not have nearly as pleasant of an experience, and the men from that company seemed lazy/slower, and somewhat rude. My only complaint is with the fee/billing. We bought the AL deal for 3 hours and ended up needing to go over by a little bit, so I was told that we then lost the AL promotion and had to pay the service fee on top of the extra hourly rate. I get it that this was written into the deal that I purchased, but it was just kind of annoying and was the reason we chose a different company the next time - one that did not have any and quot;serviceand quot; fees and had a straight-forward fee structure. Nobody likes to buy a coupon and then have the savings and quot;taken awayand quot; afterwards - I would have kept it to 3 hours or less if I could have, but it is sometimes difficult to know how long loading/unloading is going to take - there were still a few of our things left in their truck at the 3 hr mark, so at that point we were stuck. Just be aware of all the fees up front if you use this company - we were also charged $20 for shrink wrap used to wrap up a couple of dressers. I could have bought a whole roll at the Container store for that much or unloaded the drawers instead. Overall, I still <i>would</i> recommend this company and would use them again in the future for in town moves.

I have to say the service was amazing! I called and scheduled the move, I received a phone confirmation on the day before the move. I received a phone call, as promised, when the team was on their way. They promised to arrive between 8-10 am and hit that window perfectly. When the team arrived, they each introduced themselves, in a very professional manner. We did a walk through of the house on what to take and what to leave. They went to work within seconds after the walk through! The team, Dwayne, Alex and Aaron, really hustled and worked hard! I offered them some beverages and snacks, and they were very appreciative and grateful. The snacks didn't slow them down, they kept working! They were extremely polite, and conscientious about making sure that neither house was damaged in the process of the move, they made sure to ask if they were unsure of where an item should go, and they did it all with a smile on their face. They were extremely pleasant the entire day and made moving as fun as possible. If I ever move again, I would want these guys to do it! I highly recommend <strong><em>A Simple Move</em></strong>, especially if <strong>Dwayne, Alex and Aaron</strong> are a representative of all employees in the company. We had tons of stuff! It was an 8 hour move and these guys left with a smile on their face, the way they arrived. The last movers I hired were horrifying, so it was especially pleasant to have such a wonderful experience. <strong><em>Thank you A Simple Move, and team for such a wonderful experience!! </em></strong> I would recommend them for anyone needing movers. <br />

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out really, really great. I love them, they are awesome. There were extra charges. We went 30 minutes over and it cost us $150, which was half the price of the Big Deal so it turned out to be a lot more expensive than we had expected. However, it was all part of the agreement because when we bought the deal we understood if we went over there would be additional charges. They saved us so much time in the long run as far as moving goes that I did not mind paying the additional. The guys hustle. They are fast and tried to make the most of our time because they know it is valuable to us. We lost our dining room table legs and they found them a day later. One of them drove a considerable distance to bring them back out to us and even offered to put them back on my table. They are really good at hospitality and customer service.

This team was very professional in packing and loading. About half way through Dwaye advised that not all the items I intended to pack would fit into the containers. It was very helpful to be able to make adjustments at that point rather than having to scramble at the end. I was further impressed at how much he and the team were able to get into the storage containers. <br /> I was very comfortable with all of the people who were in our home handling our stuff and I'm confident that everything will arrive safely. We have moved 5 times and these are the most competent movers I've ever used (and I have had good movers before). Recommend this company without reservation. <br />
