It went very well! His crew is very good and they have the machinery for anything. They ripped my old driveway out in seconds! When they were done I was very surprised with their work. I highly recommend them !

I guess ok but I was told I could sealcoat when they were done!! I don't believe that was done properly & I read later that it should be done 60 days after!!!! My driveway looks terrible compared to others that I see in my area!!! I saved for 3 years to do this & wish I had waited until I found the right company to do it!!!I I am a senior citizen which relies on the expertise of who I hire. I hope they realize they too will be seniors someday!!!!

"I did your driveway last summer and you loved it I did you a nice job and you know that you where very happy the seal coat we use you can apply immediately so the information you read was wrong a water base material you have to wait 60 days. I just pulled properly up on google maps and driveway looks great and will last a long time longevity is more is the most important part so I think F review is unfair but that’s your free will. We definitely try to do the best we can and help people out the best we can and try to run a successful business sorry you are not happy you should have called me to discuss first before writing a review"

The A&S team was professional and courtesy during the job. The workmaship surpassed our expectations and would absolutely recommend and hire again. Anthony, the owner, was very personable and a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to the job request and did it in a very modern / digital way that worked with my schedule. Work was done ok however, on follow up when I wanted lines drawn in parking area, no one responded to multiple calls. As a client, even IF they were not available to do this part of the job, I deserved a return call. Had there been a problem, I’m concerned that they would not have responded to that either. Poor communication is the reason for low ratings

While I am pleased with the quality of the job, I didn't like the owner trying to add more than I agreed on. I got a call in the am from owner Anthony Stanko telling me he had a canceĺlation. He asked if they could do my driveway that afternoon. I okayed it. He responded, but left once his crew started working. He returned when the 3" layer of asphalt we agreed on, was in place. It was then he tried to sell me an additional layer, saying it would prevent water damage. He offered it for an additional $ 2500 initially, but when I hesitated he dropped the price first to $2000, then $1500, without any negotiating by me. I became suspicious his "am" cancellation called for more asphalt than was needed to do my driveway and felt he was trying to recoup his losses by dumping it on me.

First off, the quality of the job A&S did was phenomenal, better then we were expecting, given the poor state of our gravel driveway. Working with Anthony (A&S owner) was a completely hassle free experience and we were able to land on a price for the service that was good for both of us. Anthony was exceptionally knowledgeable and worked with us to determine what could be done within the budget we had, designing a driveway that maximized space at an acceptable price, without skimping on any materials. Working with him was so much better than any of the other contractors I got quotes from! His crew came out and finished the job in reasonable amount of time while being certain to pay specific attention to detail (the lines of our driveway are exceptionally straight!). I am incredibly happy with the job A&S dis and would recommend them to anyone. Very Satisfied!

The crew arrived on time in the morning as discussed over the phone, they did a great job on the driveway. Anthony was very responsive to any inquiry and easy to work with. He is honest, sincere and clarify any concerns before the work gets started, at the end, the driveway looks very good!

The driveway bed was extensively graded, the slope evened out, and a thick layer of gravel mixed with asphalt shavings was laid down and compressed. The asphalt was poured and rolled and the edges beveled. I observed the crew at various stages of the operation and they were meticulous. The job was completed in one day and we are very pleased with the results (see photos).

Anthony's crew did an excellent job. They graded the driveway, hauled away asphalt and fixed Belgium blocks. I hesitated before I signed contract because of the ratings. When I read negative reviews carefully, I felt the owner did care about the job and responded to the negative reviews with legitimate reasons and details. I discounted those negative reviews after I got on phone with the owner. The job was done today on 10/25/16. I am pleased with their professionalism for this project.

Driveway was repaved by A&S in May 2015 and it has held up well. Before winter called to have them reseal it. It now looks new again and protected from winter weather. Job was completed promptly as promised.

We are satisfied with the job. The only thing I wasn’t happy was that they started my driveway late as they were doing others’ in the morning, and it took much longer time than expected. So a small area in my driveway was done in hurry as it’s getting dark. Next morning I checked and called. Anthony responded quickly and sent back his team to fix that area in next day.

Excellent!!! Great jo at a reasonable price. Anthony, the owner, followed up immediately and reached out to me numerous times to ensure we were in sync. He discussed options, from full extraction of old asphalt and full replacement, to take up only sunken areas and repairing those followed with full overlay, to simply patching and seal coating. We agreed on the best approach, got a contract together within a couple of days, and then completed the job within the week. He did such a good job that my neighbor hired A&S on the spot to do their driveway. I highly recommend these guys.

I had read reviews about Anthony prior to reaching out - while he was pushy and eager to sell his services, it was all bark with little bite. A&S had re-paved several driveways in my neighborhood and was very competitively priced. When his team came to actually perform the job, it was clear that completing the job as fast as possible was a top priority. Once completed, the driveway was not level leaving several low spots that puddled anytime there was rain - an issue I did not have prior to the work being done. I contacted Anthony to address the poor workmanship and to his credit he was open to fixing the issues that he and his team created. That said, he was quick to let me know that this was a huge favor by him and not something he had to do "based on the contract". After much back and forth, Anthony and his team did come back to address the areas of concern. While improvements were made, the driveway now has patches on it which look terrible and there are still several areas that puddle. While the price was right, unfortunately the quality of the work wasn't. In hindsight, I would have happily paid more to have the job done right the first time by a more qualified operation.

"You forgot to mention the part that your driveway looked like a tornado hit it!! There was so many dips and bumps and broken up so bad that you can see the stone underneath... The water would drain down into ground that's common sense... You forgot to mention that I graded driveway best possible way that your driveway slopes toward garage and I created a pitch that you did not get any water in your garage... It was a tiny puddle that you where concerned about that was off to the corner and I told your husband that if we patch it it will not look no good he didn't care he had it in his mind he wanted the puddle elongated which I stated water has to run some where long as it's away from garage he should of been happy and not been so greedy... You forgot to mention that I did come back and spent $1000 with material and labor to fix something that was not on my contract... That I did do a favor and be loyal... For doing that it backfires and I get a bad review.... I really appreciate after all the time and effort I put in to do the right thing thanks..."

A very poor job. I hired A&S to grade my driveway and put in a new driveway. I had signed a contract with Anthony in which it stated that 2 inches + of stone would be used for the entire driveway base. A few hours into the job the foreman came to me and said, that the entire middle section of the driveway cannot be removed. It would be too difficult to tear out. The reason I wanted the driveway graded was because of the awkward slope. This was problem # 1. So, they left it. They used very little gravel throughout the driveway, because the old middle section of driveway was used as the base . This was problem # 2. I did not have the dirt removal put in the contract, because I thought there would be very little dirt, especially since the entire middle section of the driveway was left, but there was a lot of dirt remaining. I asked one of the employees of A&S working on the driveway to remove the dirt. They said the truck already left and they would have to come back next weekend. They said it would cost $600, which is what Anthony said originally for dirt removal. I agreed to the price and the following weekend they came with a large dump truck and parked on the new driveway and loaded the truck with dirt. As they backed out of the driveway the indentations of the truck tires sank sections of the driveway and there were cracks as well. This was problem # 3. I came out of my home and found one of the employees arguing on the phone. The second A & S employee said, "He's talking to the boss." I was told by the employees that they would be back that week to fix the damage they caused. I never heard from anyone. This was problem # 4. Three weeks later I called Anthony from A&S and left a message. Anthony said they followed everything that was written in the contract (which wasn't true) and A & S was not responsible for the damage caused to my driveway. They claim to have no knowledge of the dirt removal. This was problem # 5. Having the same A&S employees who did work on my driveway remove the dirt, with an A&S truck, meant I was dealing with A&S. The employee on the phone talking to the "boss", meant A & S management was involved, in the dirt removal and aware of the problem, but they have done nothing to fix the damage they caused. I wish I had never used them. This has been an awful experience.

I called you several times and left you several messages you did not return my call...I told you when I first did job I can't haul away the dirt there would be a charge you agreed leave in site... So if you made a deal behind me back that makes me very upset and if my employees they will be fired I never gave permission for my employees or my trucks or machines to haul any dirt away... You had business to notify me... The only signatures in contract was me and you not any of my hired hands... You need to call me Instead of leaving a bad review I called you multiple times you won't answer... Call me I want to know what employees went behind my back so I can know who to fire...."

A&S Paving did an excellent paving my job on my driveway, which is very long and had a lot of issues. Anthony promptly returned my call the same day and went to my house to inspect my driveway in a matter of hours to give me a quote. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and scheduled the work for the next day. The workers were at my house early the next morning with their equipment and got right to work. My driveway now looks fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Anthony paid special attention to drainage issues and had very helpful solutions for those issues. They also reduced the pitch of a steep portion of the drive and graded out the bottom so that now no one will bottom out when they pull out my driveway. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I was also happy with the level of communication about the progress of the job, which was done in one day. I would give an A+ if that rating was available.

Showed up within time period projected. Proceeded with all the work exactly as they said they would. Used top notch equipment for the job. Crew was hard working, diligent and very courteous. Very respectful of all things around driveway that could have been damaged but were not! Edge of new pavement shaped perfectly and met the sidewalk, garage door base and other areas beautifully. Cleaned up all material that had to be removed including all their water bottles and tools. Finished the job on time and no surprise extra charges. Looks great and all according to contract. Would recommend them in a heartbeat. The review of our driveway beforehand and the discussion of what we wanted and should do was frank and not at all pushy to sell more than we wanted. Looked for ways to save us money by avoiding needless costs, such as not digging up a perfectly good base (especially on a hillside.) <br />
