Aspen Contractors

I originally gave this company 5 stars because the owner, John guaranteed no leaks for the next twenty years. In less than 1 year, the roof had several major leaks, causing an estimated $1,000.00 in interior damage. The roofer used a 4" roof boot on a 3" vent, in my opinion, used inferior quality roofing tar thru-out, and did not complete the installation of any roof jacks. All of the wrought iron he installed for me just 4 months ago has started to rust because of insufficient or no paint. He still has 2 incomplete permits on my house. He has failed to respond to my text messages regarding my house issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. In my opinion, the owner has little construction knowledge and is so preoccupied with his other endeavors (teaching weight training, taking college classes, chauffeur jobs and ???), he has little to no time to supervise any of his construction jobs. He told me several times that he does not obtain the required City construction permits to get his prices lower. His quotes are low because he uses the cheapest subcontractors and materials he can find. IF YOU WANT A LOW QUALITY JOB AT A GOOD PRICE, THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU. He initially denied doing my roof, yet he has posted my origional review on his website.

After one rather expensive fieasco with another company, we were extremely happy to find Aspen Contractors. They were professional, prompt, and the price was much better then several other quotes we received. The job was completed and we are working with John to do several more projects. This is the most efficient, ethical, and honest company we have worked with in the El Paso area.
