Asphalt USA

Bank in November 2019 our company Seminole-Lake Gliderport decided to improve its driveway/main road and build a brand new parking lot, advertised by Asphalt USA as "Walmart" like. Keith S. and John Holmes walked into the office and this is basically how they approach businesses and people by saying that they just finished up a job nearby and have extra material then offer it to you for cheap. We've been assured that they provide high quality work, that they are professionals and we should check their business reviews online. The work was done during the time frame they promised, but of very low quality. As a result in less than a month we already had grass grow through the parking lot, breaking through the asphalt, water standing forming puddles and asphalt cracking and forming crumbles everywhere. We have photos of all steps of execution and recently informed Mr. Holmes and Asphalt USA that their work is of low quality, they should return and repair the parking, or else we'll make everything public and they will end up with a lawsuit. As we tried numerous ways to resolve this situation amicably and have them return in due time to make the necessary repairs, but failed to respond to our attempts, we find ourselves forced to inform everyone that comes in contact with this company and these people to stay away, they don't provide what they promise. Our next step is to call them before the judge to ask for damages and we'll do our best to have their work authorization withdrawn. On January 20th, 2020 we sent Asphalt USA/Mr. John Earl Holmes a Notification letter asking them to return and repair the parking lot (mainly) as it suffered a lot from grass not being killed in the first place. Our deadline to the company was February 5th, 2020 (today). We did not receive any feedback from this company since, no phone call, no action, nothing. As a result we have decided to post everything online.

Asphalt USA came out and gave me a free estimate. We agreed on a more than fair price. They came out with in the week and started the Job. When they started they noticed my brother in law was visiting. They offered to put in wheelchair ramp at no extra charge. The whole crew thanked him for his service. It really made his day. The owner pulled me aside and said that he would like to offer us a 10% military discount off the price we already agreed apon. They are good people with great values. They did such a great job that 2 of my neighbors had their driveways paved by them with in a few short weeks later.

I called Aspahlt USA on a monday and had an estimate by the end of the week. We had recieved estimates by five different companies. Aspahlt USA guarantees the best prices in the state and they was by far the lowest of the five. We accepted the estimate and they had both the parking lot and driveway done within 7 days of acceptance. They were very kind and knowledgeable. John and keith went over the whole project with us and in great detail making it easy to understand and also making us all very comfortable with hiring them. The work looks absolutely fantastic! Changed the looks of both my propertys and I couldn't be happier about choosing them! I would definitely hire again and recommend Asphalt USA to absolutely anyone!

Fantastic! The Asphalt USA crew was great. They repaired the terrible work another contractor left half-finished in a timely manner and did a phenomenally better job. Our 20+ year driveway looks like a brand new installation! I would recommend them to anyone who wants a PERFECT driveway. Thank you Asphalt USA!

The cracks and chips--like promised--were never filled. We were charged the full amount for a complete restoration the restoration coat was the only thing done. We have tried repeatedly to get a hold of them and keep getting empty promises...if they answer at all! The work that was done was done on June 12th and they were supposed to come back June 13th...it is now July 3rd and I have asked for my money back on the incomplete work, and no response. I am now in the process of legal action.

<p>I know, there was a lot of dumb things done on my part, but I would like to make it aware to anyone else that may come across these people, and not have this happen to them.  They did give me a business card that looks legit, except it's missing some very vital information such as a web address, a street address, etc.  One thing I do know, the sales person drives a newer red Dodge Ram single cab pick up truck.  My neighbors said that the dump truck was plated in the state of Oklahoma.
