These guys are horrible. They can not keep any appointments. They canceled my appointments twice after the appointment windows. Two times I sat at home all morning just to get a text message two hours after my appointment window to let me know they were not coming. Called to complaint and all they do is give you attitude and literally told me they can not guarantee that they will show up for the appointments in the future.

Cost was high for work performed

I would recommend this company for anyone looking to have their boiler replaced. John the technician arrived early and was very professional. He knew his craft and was very neat and courteous. John and Dan cleaned up after themselves and left everything better than when they started. The salesman, Daniel, was very personable and was willing to work with us to get the job done correct at a reasonable price. Thanks to Astacio Plumbing for a job well done.

I had a bad experience with this company. They were replacing a radiator valve, they dropped the radiator and broke a tile. They wasted a lot of time, and charged for time while the workers were sitting in the van outside eating. I called asking about the bill vs the range they gave, the owner was argumentative, and didn't want to compensate for the broken tile. If you want to pay top dollar for people who don't care about their work, you should hire these guys.

Astacio Plumbing are simply THE BEST! They found a slot for me very quickly, Luis arrived and was so pro active. I’ve never had such fantastic service and treatment from any service organization. He sorted out our issues immediately and then noticed several other things which needed help. Instead of waiting for me to initiate the work he acted fast and got pricing from his office and gave me options. This company is incredible from the ground up! I will ALWAYS contact them for plumbing and heating needs! The best, courteous, helpful and a wonderful booking office to make the experience that much better!!! Ten out of ten for Astacio!

Bad to worst after arrival to the house. I heard a big noise on the background and the moment I came to my bedroom next to the laundry closet the whole ceiling of the room was on the floor and guy stepped on to the attic insulation area and fell down breaking the ceiling I felt bad for him however he was ok there were two of them and they cleared the floor which took them a while and then looking at the closet they said probably the smell is coming through the open area around the washer drain around which they put silicone to seal, to my astonishment the guy came back after sitting in his van for 40 minutes with a bill for $1278 I was really taken aback and told him this is not right as nothing was done he said his manager Mike will call and discuss, Mike called and he is not a pleasant person to talk to after a big argument with him he said he will charge my card for $600 which the company did I would never recommend this company, the only thing they did was to call paint guys to fix my room ceiling who did close the broken down ceiling.

Astacio Plumbing & Heating was hired to do a house remodel to include plumbing 2 full bathrooms, a new hotwater tank, and central air. I literally cannot find ONE thing they did correctly. I can't even find one thing nice to say! How this company is still in business is beyond me. Literally, $20 of extra supplies would have saved me over $15,000 of repairs. $4 for shower vent caps that are bird proof, $5 for a vent pipe air collar, $5 for a screened vent pipe cover for the hotwater tank vent, $1 for a package of screws. HOW CHEAP AND CARELESS CAN YOU BE!!! When they installed the plumbing to the 2nd floor bathroom, they left leaks through my house which further damaged drywall and plaster causing a $5,000 repair of plaster and painting the ceilings and walls. They didn't install an access door to the plumbing which was leaking. So when they came back the 3rd time, they cut a whole to find and repair the leak. 5 years later, I'm still waiting for them to come back and installed the access door. A whole still remains. They installed a hotwater tank without an expansion tank which caused the hotwater tank to leak. Although they added the expansion tank, the hotwater continued to leak. The company vented the gas hotwater tank through an existing chimney. However, they left a huge hole unplugged when they drilled which released carbon monoxide into the house (thank goodness for CO alarms!). They did not put a vent cap at the top of the discharge which of course I now have dead birds in the pipe. They installed shower vents outside without bird proof vent caps. I've had nests of birds removed from both vents and installed my own bird proof vent caps. (Hey Astacio, they cost a whole $2 more!) There is an air vent pipe they didn't install a $5 collar around the pipe, which resulted in water leaking through the roof into yet ANOTHER ceiling damaged by them. They installed HVAC duct work against code, using floor beams as ducts without lining it. This dries out the beams and also is a fire safety issue. They installed the blower without a filter. When shown the filter issue, they installed a filter door and left a slot for a filter to be installed. However, no filters are made to fit the slot. Filters need to be custom built costing a fortune every few months. The upstairs pressure switch keeps failing even with their replacements. After my own inspection, I found they left the pressure switch dangling from the blower by it's hose. The hose kept filling with water. They installed an HVAC condensation line into a pump to drip into the main sewer line. After about 3 years of discharge, my black steel pipe was rusted through. When another company to reviewed, they explained the condensation water was acidic and is required to either be treated by a neutralizer first OR released outside. This company did neither. When they installed the central air conditioner, they put about half the coolant that was required, causing the condenser to fail. 3 years later, another company found a heat exchanger installed incorrectly causing a leak in the coolant line. finding the leak alone was almost a $1,000 job. RUN. RUN FAR AWAY. This company literally ruined my life. I frequently had to chase them with calls from my job. I then had to take off from my job to meet the repairs. I had to take off from work to take my children to the doctor or the labs to get tested due to their negligence. I really don't blame my employer for letting me go. Fixing the work Astacio Plumbing & Heating completed became my full time job. The damages and repairs cost tens of thousands of dollars I did not have. The company just doesn't care about the children's health they put at risk with the carbon monoxide leaks, the chipping lead paint cause by the leaking water, or the dirt and dust pulled into the HVAC and/or drawn through the floor joists. They sure didn't care enough about my family, me, or the impact their faulty work caused.

from estimate to execution they were responsive, thorough, and professional. Not an inexpensive project, however, their price was 20% lower than other estimate I received. In addition, the the estimate contained a detailed breakdown of the work to performed versus the somewhat "seat of the pants" look of the higher estimate. The two person team that showed up to do the work was timely, explained what was to be done, communicated during the process, reviewed the work at the end of the day and left the area(attic) very clean. Highly recommend!

Excellent service from requesting a visit to job completion. Very reliable. Signing up for maintenance of AC and boiler going forward.

I trouble shot the problem before the technician arrived. I was correct in my diagnosis. They charged me $127 for the service call. Then they quoted me $255 to replace the part which included labor. I bought the part on Amazon for $73.00 and replaced it myself. It took 5 minutes to do.

I was very impressed with the overall service that was provided to me, from the head of the company who performed the quote, down to the technician's that did the installation. Everyone was super professional, knowledgable, and skilled. The installation was very well done and the price was extremely reasonable. They even sent a technician down when a few days later when I had a question about the return vent, and it was a helpful visit. I will be using them again and would recommend to others.

Great experience from getting estimate to getting new unit. Everybody was on time and completed the project quickly and cleaned up afterward. Astacio gave terrific service from start to finish.

My overall experience was pretty good. I'd give them a "B" for professionalism, all because my carpet got full of water. I had to get my carpet cleaned. They could have done a little better. They knew what they were doing. I would use them again.

I was not on the premises for the work - but, my super said they took 4 hours to do this job. I complained about the price and the company insisted that the work was priced fairly.

Richard and his crew were great.  On time and very courteous.  And when i had a problem with the pump a few days later, Richard was right there the next day to check it out and make the adjustments...no questions asked.  Definitely one of the good ones! <br /> <br />

I had a few small projects that were left uncompleted by another service provider. Astacio came in and completed all of them within 30 min, no issues. He brought a trainee to observe the job at no additional fee, they were great and the job was completed effortlessly. After my first negative experience with the other provider I stayed to watch to ensure this job was completed. It was a pleasure speaking with this provider and watching him complete the job. I would absolutely use them again in the future.
