We bought a house in Sugar Grove NC and the vinyl siding was in need of some work. Window and door trim, shutters, missing siding, etc. I spent a few days trying to find a contractor to clean the siding up and fix these items with no luck when I can across A Step Above Handyman and Matt. Even though they were located an hour and a half from our house, Matt was willing to take on the project. His communication was excellent throughout the process. His team showed up when promised and did a great job. I would definitely hire Matt and his team again. A+++ all the way.

We had a wonderful experience working with this team. They helped us hang artwork and several other decorative pieces throughout our home, and the results were excellent. We recently hired A Step Above Handyman Service LLC for multiple projects on our home, and overall we are very happy with the amount of work they completed. They installed a new metal roof, painted the entire home, refinished our hardwood floors, installed new LVP flooring, remodeled our laundry room, re-grouted the front porch, installed a new vanity, mirror, and hardware in the bathroom, and pressure washed the property. The scope of work was extensive, and it completely transformed our home. We especially appreciated having one company able to handle so many different projects. The home looks refreshed, updated, and much more polished overall. Owner Matthew Howard was professional throughout the process, and Edward was definitely his best man on the crew. Had a tree fall on my RV cover, full wooden structure. Owner worked with me on price as insurance wasn't willing to pay out major costs. Two guys worked over a 3 day period, super polite, knew exactly what to do, and worked hard. Truly thankful for this great experience. Very happy with how it all came back together and the willingness to help me out quickly.

After finding this contractor, my project was reviewed and quoted quickly on Thursday and everything was done before lunch on Saturday. The work was done professionally and looks great.

They moved multiple pieces of furniture, had to disassemble two beds and move several mattress sets. They were courteous and polite. I will definitely use them again.

My mother's pipes broke during the ice storm . Including a sewage line .I couldn't get anyone to come out and help her over a month . One plumber company came out said they wouldn't do just what was needed they'd only do the job if we replumbed the whole house. These fellas came looked and started a day later . They charged less than the other company projected price wise and helped with several things finishing same day. Which was a blessing my mother is a senior they made sure she had water same day . Even helped her in and out of the house . They cleaned up plus did a few small things extra and were very kind to my mother . Kind, honest, reasonably priced , and did everything perfectly.

Pipes busted, messing up multiple things in small crawlspace under home. Without water for weeks. No one else would take the project on. Not only did they fix in 2 days time, they called, sent pictures, cleaned up everything, were professional, answered all questions. And their price very reasonable . Also did not have to wait days for the estimate. Will be hiring them again.

Matt arranged same day service and Edward arrived promptly. He was very flexible in figuring out how to do the work I needed. Friendly, professional, and great work. It was a pleasure to have their help!

They did a wonderful job. They replaced my gutters flacks rotten boards downspouts and the guttering facing. Was very professionally and explain everything to me and told me if I needed any thing else to just let them know. I will be hiring them to install a new exterior door and storm door. The job they did with gutters was done in two days.

A group came Thursday. Did the job. I complained and another group came right away on Friday. The 2nd group redid everything the 1st group did. They did what I asked. Nice finishing and made the French bi-fold doors fit nicely. There is a question about the screws matching as they don't and are visible to the eye. The moldings around the door are excellent much to my satisfaction. One door opens a closes perfectly. The other does not but does work. All of the men that I dealt with treated me with the utmost respect.

Since there?s nothing for plumbing jobs I?ll just do the Handyman Projects? but I want to Thank them so much for helping me get my waterline fixed and Steven was so great at making sure the waterline was covered with foam to help me out a little bit?.. If you ever need help with anything please hire them to help you out?. I know when I need anything else done I?ll be calling them?.

I hired this company for a bathroom remodel as well as other smaller projects. I had lots of fears from previous contractors taking my money and running without the work being completed. This company has restored my faith in humanity. They're doing great work and working with me on all of my decision changes . I will be using them for my entire house. It's good to know there are still honest people in the world who don't want to harm you or take your money and leave. I'd hire this company over again if given the chance.
