A Step Up Window Cleaning

They did a really good job washing the house. They came back with no questions asked. The window cleaning was ok, there were some things that didn't get addressed. But overall, I would hire them again for house and window washing.

This is the second year we have hired this company to clean our windows: inside and out, sills, screens. They couldn't be more courteous or professional! We are grateful they could come during the pandemic and appreciate their good work.

They were professional, timely, and got the job done. I've used them since, and would use them again!

These guys are great. We had the outside of our house cleaned, outside windows cleaned, and screens cleaned. All of it looks amazing. We have pressure washed our house ourselves in the past but always had a tough time reaching the peaks and underside of the high up gutters. I will 100% never do it myself again after such a great experience! Thomas and his crew were great. Exceptional communication! The day before our appointment we got a reminder email that included an overview of the services and the name and picture of the crew member coming out. When Chris from their team got here, right on time i'll add, he was extremely courteous, professional, and worked quickly. Can't say enough good things about these guys!

I will never use A Step Up Window Cleaning’s services again, nor do I recommend anyone use them. All the information in this review was shared with Tom McArthur, the business owner. I was very disappointed in what appeared to be rushed, incomplete, and lack of attention to detail given to this job. Unfortunately, I can’t share pictures in this review, but Tom has them. I contracted to have all the windows cleaned inside and out, and in each communication with A Step Up Window Cleaning, I specifically requested the mold and mildew in the tracks be cleaned with attention given to the sliding door tracks. Each time, I was assured it would be. It wasn’t. There were also film streaks left on several windows. The crew arrived at 10:10am and finished at 10:24am, 14 minutes later. That says a lot about the time invested and lack of attention given to the job. Tom “was shocked” when he saw the pictures and offered to come out and “properly clean the tracks.” He also offered to reduce the invoice price. I declined on both. I told him I hire professionals to do work equal to, or higher quality that I would do because I don't have the time to do it. I clearly didn't get that here. The rationale I gave Tom is this. First, the job should have been done right the first time. And second, reducing the price, even doing it for free, wouldn’t close the gap between the expectation they set with all their hype and the service delivered, or didn’t deliver. Worth noting, I was not around when this work was performed. I'd left the door unlocked so the crew could get in.

Very well. Cody was polite and enthusiastic and thorough. The price was reasonable and the job done well.

Team arrived early and got started before I arrived home. I couldn’t believe how clean my windows looked afterward.

Scheduling was easy and then they kept me informed every step of the way via email including an email with a picture of the staff person who would be coming to the house to do the windows. The windows are freaky clean. I can't stop looking at them, well actually through them since there is nothing to see. They have never been this clean before. Will definitely be hiring A Step Up Window Cleaning again.

Everything went smoothly, and it was wonderful to see much it brightened the whole house, will use them again.

The 2-person crew that came out did a wonderful job explaining what was to be done and how. They set up and "soft-washed" our vinyl sided house and garage. We had some algae staining prior tot he wash, but that all was cleaned off. Mike, our service provider, did an awesome job. He even came back to clean a small area that I discovered had been missed. Great experience with this company!

We've hired A Step Up for at least three years now, spring and fall, to clean our exterior windows and gutters. They have always done a nice job, cleaned up gutter debris and been responsive to concerns. A picture window was missed last year and they promptly returned to clean it when I pointed out the oversight. Their overall price is competitive. I have noticed that they do not accept the Angie's List coupons/discounts if your home falls under their 'minimum order'. Our home is ~ 2,300 square feet, so not huge, but we do have a lot of windows (~30), so I was surprised that we fell into the 'minimum order' category. Nice work for a competitive price - I would recommend them.

The guy came and instead of having help, he did it all himself. He did all the work with the ladder. He did in between the windows and screens as well as the screens themselves and then he comes inside and cleans the inside as well. He even moved my plants and lanterns out of the way. They always do a good job. They even let me know that one of the seals on one of my windows was busted. Throughout the years I've used their services they've actually caught several cracks in the seals for me.

Went very well.Did the job as promised. Charges are based on the number of windows. In my case, the number is 29.Including the front door and patio door plus one basement window. The windows and screens are sparkling clean. I also thought I may need new siding. However, after the wash, the siding looks good.No need to replace. The only issue was two cleaners were to show up and only one did. He was very good but took longer than planned. Some windows needed furniture moved away and back. He did it without my help.He also took curtains off a returned them to orginal condition
