Miguel and his team were meticulous, efficient, personable, considerate and careful painters. They needed to do a considerable amount of wall repair including smoke and water damage as well as filling significant cracks, dealing with wallpaper under layers of paint and resurfacing. They clearly knew what they were doing and applied their knowledge and experience appropriately throughout the house. They took pride in their work and were very open to feedback and touchups. The only negative in the overall experience was that I should have supervised the 'color-matching' service more closely than I did. The color consultant brought in from the paint company didn't do a sufficiently good job in confirming that the paint selections matched the colors previously on the walls, and that precipitated some repainting midway through the job.

Tyler was so helpful in choosing the color palette for the house. It is hard to visualize from a small chip to a whole house and his experience was invaluable in selecting the final choices. The pop color on the front door really makes the house have a wow factor. His team was amazing. They were clean, neat, and so polite. They made friends with the dogs and made sure to keep the gates closed so the dogs didn't slip out. We looked forward to seeing them each day.

I highly recommend Colby Painting—they are professional, affordable, and darn good painters! Working with Tyler Colby was easy, even as we had various hurdles crop up throughout the process. He gave us a quoted range based on pictures and a description when we were in escrow for a townhome—and stuck to it! He helped us pick paint colors that complemented each other and gave numerous recommendations based on his experience painting other homes. The crew (Dago and Fidel) showed up on time every morning and worked long hours. Their attention to detail was phenomenal and they took great care to protect our counters, railings, fireplace, etc. while painting. They didn’t mind accommodating different contractors that we had come through and were willing to be flexible as schedules changed. They were incredibly polite and willing to help with many random small tasks, including doubling back to paint under vents that we belatedly decided to change. The result is phenomenal! A really solid paint job by really great guys at a really great price!

Colby Painting Company was by far the best company for the job. The pricing was very good and the work was so detailed and perfect. The crew that painted my house had patience which is what it takes for a painter to do an excellent job. They covered everything and taped everything up nicely. I was so pleased at the overall outcome. They also painted the inside of my house in order to get it ready to be sold. My house sold in 3 days. There were many comments about the paint job. They lived the red front door that they painted as well. Tyler Colby knows his stuff. He came out and gave me an estimate and explained everything that they were going to do. When the time came to start work, they did everything Tyler said they were going to do. They went above and beyond and the outcome was magnificent.

Colby Painting saved me from a bad contractor who left the job half done and sloppy. They swooped in and had the job done in just a few days, working with me in terms of cost, timing and my vision for the house. Luis gave me great advice on style decisions and he takes a lot of pride in his work. Tyler is extremely professional and communicative. I desperately wish I had come to them first, but now I know who to use and recommend for all future painting projects.

We found Colby Painting while we were in escrow. It was the best decision we could have made! They did an amazing job. Throughout the whole process their communication was on point. Tyler gave us an estimate based on the listing photos and finalized the details when we conducted our final walk-thru. Will use again and recommend to friends!
