Do not be fooled by the other guys that advertise “Only $19 locksmith service” or things of that sort. They’ll charge that only for the site visit, even if you decide not to perform the work with them. And if you do decide to perform the work with them, you will be asked to pay additional for parts and labor. We, at Astro Locksmith, Inc. price fairly ONLY for the parts and labor that we provide. If we arrive for a site visit, and you choose NOT to perform the work through us, you will not be charged a dime. We are confident that our prices are absolutely unbeatable by our competitors. This is for one reason, when we buy hardware; we buy in large quantities, therefore we buy for lower prices per piece and are able to pass that discount on to you; the end user. Our Technicians are licensed, carefully screened and background-checked for criminal history. Lior was able to come with an hour of my call on a Saturday evening. He understood my directions very well and re-keyed 6 locks on 4 doors and now they function very smoothly. He made the exact number of key copies that we need and was incredibly quick with his service. Price was fair when compared to his competitors. Would definitely hire him again. This is a relief because our long time locksmith retired a couple years ago and we hadn’t found anyone we were as happy with, until now!

Great Job. I would hire again in a second. It was a standard re-keying as I moved into a new house. He was quick and efficient. There was one door that was a bit odd. It could have been expensive but he worked out a way for it to be a reasonable price.

It was a great experience. Lior from Astro Locksmith was very responsive, helpful and professional. He even offered to come in advance of our original appointment. Our front door lock was very broken so he really had his work cut out for him. Now the lock works wonderfully and we can use our front door again. He's also a very nice guy and a pleasure to have working in your house.

It was great! He answered the phone right away then he called us back. One time, that same day to confirm things and then morning of the day he came. He called and kept us updated that he was on his way. He was very communicative. The technical problem of the locks were considerable but he was able to repair it and explained all of it to us. After he left, I looked at the locks and a cosmetic part was off centered and when I operated it, it worked well but the cosmetic part was more noticeable. I called him, told him about it then the next day, he came and corrected it immediately without extra charge and I thought that was extraordinary.

I would highly recommend Astro Locksmith! I live out of state and manage a building long distance. I called in the morning and they said they'd be there between 2:30-4:30. They were held up at another job so arrived a bit later but called to let me know of the delay. I was thrilled they could come the same day I called so it didn't bother me. They identified locks on another door that were keyed the same so we had those changed as well. I had used them for a condo we were moving into back in 2012 and had an equally positive experience which is why this time they were my first call.

Lior dropped what he was doing when he couldn’t get any of his techs to come out. He was headed to the pool with his kid, turned around, and came out to get us back in our home (ironically enough, so we could go take out kid swimming). Solid human being and great at his job. Highly recommended!

Roy did an excellent job. He replaced a bolt I did not have a key for, re-keyed all locks so that they would use the same key, then fixed the front door to our building with a separate key. Everything was done very professionally. Lior, his partner, was also very professional in setting up the initial appointment. Highly recommended.

Everything went very smoothly. The initial response to my call was prompt, and we were able to set up an appointment later in the day. In addition to the rekeying (I had just moved in), we also had a deadbolt installed on a door that did not already have one, and the technician also was kind enough to help with the installation of a smart lock. This was probably the original lock to our 1915 home. We've lived here since 1982, and had a few minor fixes made, but this time, it was beyond repair. Our door was jammed by the lock and there was nothing we could do to free it. We called Lior at Astro Locksmith that day. We responded promptly and we arranged for him to come over the next day. Since it was Memorial Day weekend, we were doubly pleased that he was willing and able to solve our problem. Lior explored the problem and discovered that this was a complete failure of the lock mechanism (I suppose that's not bad for a 103 year old lock). The repair proved to be fairly tricky because he was forced to cut through the bolt in order to reopen the door. At all times, Lior was careful with the door and frame so that no damage would be done to our home. He explained and showed us the reasons for the lock's failure (pretty interesting), and discussed the appropriate replacement hardware and accessories. We decided to change the door hardware with more modern plates, but kept them in the same style as the previous ones. The new hardware looks and performs beautifully. Before Lior installed the final piece, the lock itself, he showed me how the pins work in the cylinder. You really have to know your stuff to do this job well. Before all was done, he re-keyed the lock to our existing house key, saving us from needing more keys on our rings. Then he tested the alignment of the lock and the door, and made sure that everything worked smoothly, including the door closing. This was an extremely professional job done by a man who really knows his business. Highly recommended!
