"I apologize for any misunderstanding that apparently has occurred. We came out and did the roof tune-up that the customer purchased, no more no less. The wife told our crew member that they did not want any additional work done when it was mentioned to her. We assumed that we were finished there, at that time."
"Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to meet you and help you with your roofing issues. Please do not hesitate to call should you need anything in the future. Take are ;)"
"I apologize for the confusion you may have experienced. My office manager had given you a call when we had the estimate for your additional repairs ready and asked if she could email it to you, or if you would like Danny top come out to see you and explain the recommendations in person. The response that was received from you, "Everything was done, there was not any additional repairs needed and I don't know what you are talking about." That was how the call was ended with no further follow-up required."
"Hello [member name removed], you posted a review about us back in October 2012. I am sorry that you still feel unhappy with us. We had explained in detail the events that had actually occured at that time. It is time to let it be, as it is very unprofessional of you to keep making repeated attempts to undermine our reputation. I believe that this can be construed as a form of harassment and a person can be held liable for false accusations."
"Thank you very much for your kind words. I do my best to assure that every customer is happy and is taken care of like I would wish to be taken care of. Give your doggies a little pat on the head for me."
"It was our impression that this was a very happy customer. This member had purchased our "Big Deal" promotion, Tile Roof Tune-up for $175.00. We called to schedule our first appointment for October 2, 2012. At that time, we performed a complete roof inspection to provide to the homeowner, which would point out any additional repairs that would be needed, should there be any. We began working on that first day due to the member purchasing a service from us and we were there to perform that service. We were very busy at this time and may have taken longer to prepare our bid, however, we did keep in phone contact with the member and provided a verbal ballpark bid on October 6, 2012. He was in acceptance of that bid price and we prepared a contract to perform the work and brought it to our second appointment with the member on October 18, 2012. He signed the contract and gave us a check for the down payment, we started the roof repair that same day. The member also wanted us to do fascia replacement and the painting of it, in which he would supply the paint, and to install a new bird stop. The prices on the contract were very clear, the only thing that would alter them would be to discover additional damages while we were performing the contracted repairs. On October 19th, we did discover additional damages to the felt and the ship-lap once the tiles were being lifted. The member was made aware immediately and accepted the additional repairs and wrote us two progress payment checks that day. We completed the job on October 23, 2012. We submitted the final invoice to the member on November 8, 2012 and were written a check for it in the same amount. The member said that they were very satisfied with our work and we asked if they wouldn't mind posting a review for us here. I am also surprised that they have responded three months after the work was completed, maybe this added some confusion as to how the events actually took place."
"Thank you! It was a pleasure to help you with your roofing issues and get your roof in top-shape. Please do not hesitate to call if you should have any questions or concerns in the future. You can count on our roof repairs to never fail.....haven't had a problem in the 35 yrs. I have been in business. Warmest regards, Dan"
"Thank you, sir. Our visit was short and sweet, but still a pleasure doing business with you!"
"Yes, it was hard to reach this customer. Finally was able to reach her on the 18th of October and made an appointment for Nov. 10th. Our crew did perform the service purchased, they installed four new roof flashings and repaired five broken tiles. I am sorry to say that our crew was subject to being yelled at the entire time by the member on what a _________ company we are! There were additional repairs discovered at that time, to be presented in a bid, but then we decided that we would not be able to perform them due to not having enough crew to safely do the work. This member has a very steep-pitched roof that we were not comfortable having a possibility of an accident occur on her property. We did tell her that we could still give her a ballpark price for those additional repairs so she could have that knowledge available for when she called other roofing companies for the repairs."
"this review is from 1991?? That's 21 years ago??? Really???"
"I sent an email requesting an appointment date from 9/21 to 9/24. The member called and we made an appointment for 10/1/12, which was 2 weeks after our promotion offer ended. We performed our service on that date and discovered additional roof damages to be addressed, plus member inquired as to how much would we charge to repair dry rot damaged area on the side of his house. We pointed out that whomever he had work on his roof previously had done a bad repair (tiles stacked on top of other tiles in an attempt to stop leaks) and he said it was his painter. With that in mind, you can imagine that the cost to repair the extensive damage to the roof, along with wood replacement on the side of he house, made for a substantial repair bid. The member wished us to come by to walk him through it, so he could fully understand the scope of the repairs required. We made an appointment for a Saturday, Oct. 13th from 8-12:00. Unfortunately, we were out in Vista on an emergency call with a customer who's roof was about ready to fall in, making all the calls and such required to get that situation under control, and we didn't return to the orange county area until 4:30pm. Our work day was done. We received a call from the member, who was very irate at this point, told us not to bother coming, that his painter told him he could do the repairs. That is were we stood on Oct. 15th, 2012."
"We did get back to this very nice man and we performed the additional work as contracted. He is a happy customer!"
"Thank you! It was a pleasure to meet you and your wife. I will be happy to assist you in the future should you have the need. Take care."
"Thank you! Yes, it is true....I can do repairs to roofing where other roofers have failed. Unfortunately, sometimes failed horribly. I am so glad to have helped you with your roofing issues. You will have a warm and cozy winter this year. Take care, Danny"
"Thank you Member, glad to have had the opportunity to help you with your roofing needs. Yes, when the wife is happy...the husband is happy ;)."
