Atlantic Duct Cleaning

My dryer vent was blocked 80% per my new LG dryer. Joel and Santos showed up and assessed the issue, went to work and unclogged it from both ends. They were both friendly, kind, helpful and speedy in their work and cleaned up everything... If I could give them 10 stars I would..

They are super great, technicians were great. I've been using them for more then 30 years now. I would consider them as Top 3 contractors that I'm working with. I would recommend them to anyone who needs duct cleaning.

All went well the 2 men that did the work were courteous and professional. Explained each step of the process. <br />But when they were finishing up they ran into a problem. As they closed up the duct on top of the furnace where the air conditioning coil is they put a screw through one of the thin copper tubes. Which caused all the gas to leak from unit. They called the companies owner and he in turn called someone to come to fix it. He had to try to braze the hole shut. And told me he couldn be sure if it would hold. I in turn told the owner. Was told not to worry he would stand behind it. Well after a couple of weeks the braze started leaking . He sent someone to check the unit. He got it to cool again. But notified me it had to be replaced. Jack the owner agreed to replace the damaged part. Only problem is the unit was an R-22 freon unit. And they couldn locate one that would match up to the condenser outside which meant the complete system had to be replaced. That when I started to get the run around a couple of calls were never returned I guess his cell phone only works for incoming business, finally told me he was going to contact his insurance co. Which he did. The adjuster came he notified me the insurance co. would get the cost of the unit than take depreciation and I would get the difference. I called Atlantic Duct cleaning and asked if he was going to make up the difference .i was told it was in the hands of his insurance. So because of his man's mistake, it is now going to cost me about $2000.00 out of my pocket. When I didn break the unit I f they didn't break it I possibly could have gotten another 10 yrs out of the systembecause it was in very good condition I'm in business myself and have had accidents take place but as a decent business man and to keep a good reputation if my insurance didn't cover the total cost of the repair or item I made up the difference. And always made sure the customer did not have any out of pocket expense. This man didn't even offer to split the cost of what the insurance co did not pay. He also knew I have COPD and CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE and that I need the air conditioning at this time of year. But it seemed to me that he got his money for the job and only knows you if you have no problems that are going to cost him any money. He cried to me that he spent 700.00 on freon to refill the system and than more when a service man came back to add more gas when it started to leak again. I informed him that was not my problem I didn't break it. I since found out you should not put freon into a unit you know is leaking. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATLANTIC DUCT CLEANING TO ANYONE THEIR WORK IS GOOD THEIR PERSONAL ARE COURTEOUS THE PRICE IS NO BETTER THAN MOST OTHER COMPANIES. BUT IF THEY BREAK SOMETHING YOUR GOING TO END UP TAKING MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET TO GET IT FIXED. I GIVE THEM A BIG O IN BUSINESS ETHICS. THIS PROBLEM TOOK PLACE AT THE END OF APRIL AND IS STILL NOT RESOLVED COMPLETELY I GAVE THEM A VERY GOOD REVIEW ON HOME ADVISOR BUT THAT WAS BEFORE I KNEW WHAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH. AGAIN IM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT THE INITIAL WORK IT IS THE RESPONSE TO WHAT THEIR EMPLOYEE. CAUSED THAT IM UPSET WITH. <br />

They were honest, accurate, professional and efficient.  Its an expensive process you don't want to do often, but if you need the work done, I highly recommend Atlantic. <br />

My experience with Atlantic was one of the best - if not THE best - I've ever had with home maintenance and repair companies! <br /> <br /> Since I'd never had the heating/AC ducts in my house cleaned in the 20 years I'd been here, I solicited estimated from three companies.  This one had been recommended by my oil company owner, who said that it had been recognized in the industry as doing high quality work.  All three estimates were about the same, but the owner of Atlantic, Jack Prindiville, impressed me as being far more professional and knowledgeable than the other estimators.  He patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions, and I was scheduled to have the work done very promptly. <br /> <br /> I couldn't have hoped for better workmen than the two young men who did the work.  They were fairly young, professional, efficient, hard-working, and extremely good-natured.  They completed the job fairly quickly, but thoroughly, and left no trace of any mess.  This was an A+ experience in every way!!! <br /> <br /> Two small notes:  Don't be intimidated by their <br />   <br />

THE THINGS THAT REALLY STOOD OUT ABOUT THIS BUSINESS WERE THAT THEY RESPONDED TO THE SERVICE CALL IN AN EFFICIENT MANNER AND THEY SHOWED UP THE VERY SAME DAY.

THEY ARE ALWAYS VERY KIND TO ME AND THEY ALWAYS GET THE JOB DONE VERY FAST. THEY ARE ALSO VERY NEAT ABOUT CLEANING UP ANY MESS THAT THEY MAY MAKE. THEY DO A FANTASTIC JOB COMING OVER AND CLEANING MY AIR DUCTS.

OUR DUCTS WERE DIRTY BEYOND BELIEF. THESE GUYS DID A GREAT JOB OF GETTING RID OF MOST OF THE FILTH THAT WAS IN THEM. I TOOK A LOOK AROUND BEFORE AND AFTER AND I COULD REALLY SEE A DIFFERENCE.

THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS VERY FRIENDLY TO ME WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT WAS WRONG. IN NO TIME, THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT TO DO THE CLEANING OF MY AIR DUCTS.

I HAD TO HAVE MY AIR DUCTS CLEANED. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK AND FINISHED IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. I WOULD CHOOSE THIS COMPANY AGAIN FOR THEIR SERVICES.

THEY SHOWED ME AN EXAMPLE OF HOW IT LOOKED BEFORE AND AFTER, AND I COULD TELL A DIFFERENCE, ALTHOUGH TO ME, IT DIDN'T SEEM LIKE MUCH OF ONE. THEY DID A DECENT JOB NONETHELESS, AND I WAS PRETTY PLEASED WITH THE OUTCOME.
