Reasonably well. The prime symptom was the ice maker no longer working. That was quickly replaced. But no ice was made and then I noticed the fridge was subject to large temperature swings. Called Jacob, he came out the next day, diagnosed that the heating element that controls defrosting had failed and repaired that without charging for labor.

Very well...The company rep returned my call immediately and came out the same day! I got his estimate, paid a deposit and he returned the next morning with the required part and successfully repaired my appliance...Thank you very much!

Mr. Wilson was late showing up but called and said he was going to be late. When he did arrive I explained the problem, he said he would have to research the problem and get back to me the next day. He did not get back with me the next day nor did he return any of my phone calls, but gladly took a check for $49.00 for a service call. He never mentioned that there was a service charge. I will never call him again because he was rude and never bothered to call.

refrigetor side stopped cooling on Saturday night. By Sunday things looked bad. Atlas was open on Sunday so gave them a call. Propmptly scheduled appt on Monday morning. Diagnosed to be a bad flapper between the freezer and fridge so passage was frozen. Had part in stock so was able to repair it Tuesday. Problem solved and great professionalism!

Not well.. He came out in a couple days for a look, but it took three days of constant phoning to ask why he was a week late on the installation's promised date. When installed several more days later than promised, he didn't check to actually see if it worked. It didn't, but he was gone by then. Took three more days to get him to order another part. Nearly a week later after constant calls, he hands the job off to another company - the only thing he did manage to get right. Other person fixed the unit immediately after the part came in.

Rodney Wilson called me as soon as I filled out a form on Angie's list saying that my dishwasher kept switching off soon after it started. He came promptly and diagnosed the problem, saying he would need to order the part. He charged me $49 for the call, saying that he would deduct that amount from the repair bill, once he got the part and came out to fix it. About 2 weeks later, I called him to ask if the part had come in yet. He said it had not, but promised to check on it for me. He had come before Christmas, this was now after Christmas, I know things can get crazy around the holidays, so I allowed for that. In mid-to-late January, I called him again, left a message, he didn't call back. Finally, after 2 or 3 more calls with no response, and a full 2 months after Mr. Wilson came out and diagnosed the problem, I gave up and called Balcones Appliance Repair in San Marcos. I was very pleased with them, especially as it took them only a day or 2 to get the part. I gave Atlas more than enough time to come through, but I never heard from them again after the "it's still not in" phone conversation, 2 weeks after he supposedly ordered the part.

Beware. Stay away. I paid this guy (Rodney Wilson Atlas Repair) $300 to fix the refrigerator ice maker. He replaced a part and when that did not resolve the problem, he said it needed another part and he get the part and be back to complete the job. He never came back much less fix the ice maker. After 3 months of excuses and stringing me along he stopped answering my phones calls. I was "stiffed" by Atlas repair, Another repair company diagnosed the problem and fixed it promptly.

Horrible. We let this guy try to repair refrigerator ice-maker multiple times. Finally hired ABC to come out and fix it and it is working great. ABC said these guys missed most of what was wrong with the ice-maker. After multiple trips, pretty bad; I feel like i was ripped off completely.
Response from Atlas Appliance Repair
"This is a tenant/landlord situation: Mr. [Member Name Removed] called to get my opinion, or a quote, on a Kitchenaid KSS42, side by side. built in refrigerator, for a new Auger motor (which rotates the ice to either crushed ice or cubed. it does not dispense the ice). I, and another qualified technician, took the Auger motor assembly apart and found another company had been there, before us, and cut off the plug that powers the Auger motor. We repaired the plug so the power was restored to the new Auger motor. we installed. (The Auger motor was repaired, at the cost of $489). Then, 2 days later Mr. [Member Name Removed] called me back and stated that the icemaker was not dispensing ice, which is not what we were asked to repair. We went back, at no cost, to find what the additional problem was, free of charge. We went to the tenants residence and no one was [Member Information Removed]. We waited for over 30 minutes. No one showed up. Mr [Member Name Removed] called back, irate, and asked why we couldn't repair it? I told him no one was [Member Information Removed], and I left our business card in the door. Mr. [Member Name Removed] called me several times. I called him back. I went back to install a new flapper, free of charge, which lets the ice fall down through the door. He called me back to say that it wasn't working. We returned once again, free of charge and put in a new flapper assembly and flapper motor (door chute). Mr [Member Name Removed] called once again and said " I better learn how to text, because my tenant doesn't want you to come here anymore." He was rude and inappropriate for situation, as I was willing to come back, at no charge. The parts are all under manufacturer warranty. He didn't give me the opportunity to resolve this matter, and I am still willing to so."

He came the same day I called, within a couple of hours in fact. He quickly found the problem. The solution was simple so he quickly fixed it and only charged me 50 bucks for the service call. Very satisfied.

Rodney is a repair ninja. I called him late afternoon on a Thursday when the dryer suddenly died, and he popped over to my house within an hour. He didn't have the particular part for my model # on his truck but he told me he would return first thing Friday to my house to get it all squared away and he did. I was so concerned I would have to go days watching the laundry pile up but that just wasn't the case. He was friendly, patient, and quick. Will definitely be adding him to my go-to list for when the next appliance issue crops up.

Atlas came by to diagnose a refrigerator smell issue. Overall the experience was good. The communication style and phone etiquette was a bit rough - extremely direct and absent of pleasantries. I'd likely call again.

Rodney knew of someone he use to work with that could do it for me. It was very expensive, so he told me if the board also needed repair he would put it in himself for only his cost of the part. According to good ol boy Rodney he should have stuck with his original bid of $2000.00 but he only complained a little when he only charged me $1714.00 (1500.00 compressor 214.00 board) return customer for sure and would consider him a friend if our social paths ever crossed!

Rodney was totally on-time for the appointment and very nice. He got the dryer taken care of fast and right the first time. My ice maker had not been making ice for some time, and he serviced it and changed the filter. He told me to give him a call if it did not make ice. I noticed he was very careful with my things, and he even borrowed a vacuum cleaner and a trash bag to clean up after his work. That visit was $329. The ice maker did not make ice, and I started calling and leaving messages for Rodney without any response for most of a week. When he did get back to me, he explained very nicely that he had had a death in the family and been out of town, and I believed him and appreciated his explanation. He made another appointment to return last night with another technician, and he was on time to the minute. The two of them took my ice maker completely apart and replaced the large part that contains refrigerant, which had been leaking out. They worked fast and carefully and cleaned up nicely, and they were very pleasant to chat with. That visit was about $700. This morning, Rodney called me to check on the ice maker, and I was able to report that I have an ice maker full of beautiful ice! I cannot give Rodney an A for responsiveness, simply because it didn't happen in this circumstance; without responsiveness, you can't get an A for professionalism. However, I will definitely call him again, and I feel confident he'll communicate if he's out of town or otherwise unavailable. I know he'll do a great job and be pleasant to work with.

Looked up Angie's List to find this very good rated company and was very pleased to hear that he would come to my place the same day. Rodney came right on time and spent less than 5 mins to take a look at the issue and charged me $65 ($50 for the first one and $15 for the second one). I paid in cash as he would not take credit cards. He said that by end of day that day or by morning next day he will come with the parts needed and fix my issues. But ever since then, I have been making phone calls everyday and only once (the very next day) he picked up my phone and said he has ordered the parts. After that, I have not been able to contact him.

"Mr.[Member Name Removed] has his facts wrong. He said he wanted to check with his wife first to get her OK before repairing his appliances. I told him I have not yet ordered the part but would check the price and availability of the part, which I did. The charges were for a service call. He never Ok'ed the repair."

He assessed the problem, and returned on Monday with the necessary parts. refrigerator. Very nice and very professional. Only complaint: an oil he used left a ring that I have not been able to remove from my granite counter.
