"I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. I know that there were additional charges for your home because the Angie's List Deal that you purchased only includes 1500 - 2000 sq ft. You house was well over 5000 sq ft of open wall space and we ordinarily bill the extra footage at $0.75 per foot according to the conditions of the Angie's List Big Deal you purchased. We did provide you with several other discounts in order to lower the cost and still give you an excellent deal. We work hand in hand with Angie's List to develop the terms and conditions of the Big Deal offers that are extended to it's Members. Much of the offer is dictated by Angie's List to ensure that their clients are receiving good quality work at a deeply discounted price. I hope that you will contact me if you have any problems with the paint job that we performed. We provided a full 7 year warranty on all of our paint jobs so any issues you may have, are still under warranty."

"I have not actually seen the garage floor peeling nor have I been provided with any photos in reference to her claim. I've actually only ever had one conversation with this member and during that five to ten minute phone call I tried my best to clarify any misunderstandings that she had about my involvement in the project but it seemed that she took that as me being defensive and hung up. Since that time I have been barred from the property and denied access to even enter St. Andrew's Country Club. After several attempts to contact her and rectify the situation I took the only lawful action that I could, which was to place a lien on her property. It was an awful feeling and being barred from the community made me feel like a criminal. I spent many days checking and rechecking myself before I decided to take any action. It wasn't until her project manager, called to inform me that he would no longer work for the this member that I made up my mind to fight this the legal way. I was never hired by this member directly, in fact as I said only ever spoke to her on one single occasion. Most of my communications were through her project manager, and the household handy man, Dave Wetzel. We were hired to repaint two french doors and the garage floor. I had worked for the same management team and this member on one of her other houses in the Woodfield Country Club. Things seem to be very smooth sailing there. I was told that she was under a deadline so we worked hard and got it done on time and even faux painted the stair railing with wood grain at an extra charge. The house was a gift for one of her in laws but from what I was told she was very pleased. It is true that we repainted the french doors 3 times to try and satisfy her. It is true that we had to fix a problem with the garage floor epoxy because a section was sticky to the touch but neither I nor the painters ever saw any peeling. In the end she claimed that the doors would not close properly because we had painted them too many times and that the garage floor was peeling in sheets. The handy man did call and explain that a spot about the size of a silver dollar was peeling under one tire but that was the extent of it. At one point in the conversation I suggested that her back doors may not be closing properly because they were hung improperly but she felt that I was trying to blame the handy man. Things became very complicated when the "He said she said" began and before I knew it the Handy man was calling me very upset and claiming that I "threw him under the bus". I was never again able to make contact with her or Dave Wetzel. My only communication has been with Ken Koch who has refused to pick up any dialogue with the family for this matter or any future ones. I plan to take the case to small claims court in Palm Beach County so that my case might be heard before a judge. I hope to collect all or a portion of the $2445.00 balance still owed on the project."
"I am sorry to hear that you were so displeased with our service and I hope that we can somehow make it up to you. We can't prevent every mistake but we always try to make it right. The main intention of our roof cleaning is to clean with minimum impact to the roof itself. Using high pressure methods of cleaning can damage your roof costing thousands of dollars and it even voids some warranties. It also shortens the life of the roof and increases the chances of leaks. Cleaning the roof with a high powered pressure washer was long thought to be the only way it could be done but with time roofers and roofing material manufacturers have discovered that it does more damage than good and that's why the "Soft Wash System" was created. It's lower pressure than a garden hose or even a sprinkler. It also lasts a lot longer. My clients usually clean their roof every 18-24 months and a lot of times the roof is still pretty clean the next time around. The cleaning solution is considered eco friendly because it's not harmful to the ground water, waste water systems, or ecosystem in general when we use it on your roof. It also uses significantly less water than other cleaning methods. The solution is mostly water but it does contain detergents and sodium hypochlorite, also known as chlorine or bleach, which is found in drinking water and swimming pools. This is an approved method of cleaning according to the Palm Beach and Broward County contractor licensing boards and I think it's the best method. Unfortunately some specific types of bushes and flowers are more susceptible to the concentration of the solution than other plants. Our men in the field are trained to cover these types of plants but we also provide them with a "plant wash granule" that neutralizes any high concentration areas that might effect your shrubs. It's possible that these plants were missed or just very vulnerable to any changes in the soil's PH levels. I am again very sorry to hear that your flowers were lost. Please let us know what we can do to make it up to you."
