One toilet needed replacing. Went ahead and replace both of my toilets with high quality ones.

On Thursday afternoon my water heater sprung a leak and was spraying water out the top. Fortunately I could shut off the water. The two Atwell guys were able come out Friday morning. I had my water heater that vents thought the roof, replaced with a power vent water heater that vents through the side wall. It was more expensive since the new venting had to be installed. I now plan on removing the vent pipe that goes out through the roof.

It went very well, they arrived on time and they determine that there's no problem and they didn't charge me with the service also gave me recommendation on what should I do to my water heater. I will recommend them to others.

I called Atwell Plumbing and within an hour they said we would be the next house call. Someone showed up within 30 minutes and everything was working again an hour later.

They were prompt, clean, efficient, quick and courteous! They surpassed my expectations, especially for the price they charged. They came out within 3 hrs of my 1st call to them!

Water heater blew a big leak on Friday night, and Atwell was out on Saturday at 9am to replace it. All work was very neatly done and it was completed in less than 2 hours. The only issue was that I wanted a bit more support on the expansion tank, so I strapped that up myself. They were one of three well-rated local plumbers that I called for a quote, so I know that Atwell's price was competitive and fair. I will call them first for future jobs.

His price was good. It is like half the prices of Bushes. I feel like the quality of his work was not was as Bushes but it was still okay. We are living in the house and so far we haven't had any problems. We did have one with the sink faucet which they came and fixed it.  I would probably not use them again.

I purchased the Angie's List special for plumbing work. They explained that because the outside faucets were in a brick wall the cost would be higher. One faucet was very easily accessible, through a large cabinet in our family room. The other was less easily accessible as it is located in our crawl space - which is deep enough for most people to stand mostly upright in.  <br /> My thought that was since it was going to cost extra, that meant they would solder the pipes they replaced and use cement in my wall. Makes sense considering how cheaply an outside faucet can be purchased and how much they were charging me. Basically, these guys saw "Carmel" and priced accordingly.  <br /> They were here for about an hour. Much of that time was spent doing "paperwork". As I work from home, I was able to watch much of the process. It took about 20 minutes to do the one faucet, and a little longer for the one under the house. With one guy at each faucet it didn't take long to complete. It also didn't take very long as they just used plastic pipe. and then they caulked the faucet in place. Which they didn't even caulk it very well, and there are gaping holes around each faucet and it looks terrible. Not to mention that there is cold air (and I assume bugs) coming in.  <br /> If I hadn't had a meeting going on at the same time, I would have said something. Lousy, overpriced service. <br />

They fixed a faucet that wouldn't shut off and replaced the mechanism inside a toilet. <br />

Due to the recent rain storms I called Atwell to install a water powered back up sump pump in our home. I was given a quote of $500 and they came out that same day and installed the system. They installed the system quickly and were very clean and thorough.

They explained what was needed.  They were very up front about best case and worst case scenarios to repair the flange.  I've used Atwell Plumbing 5 times in 15 years and have never had a bad experience.  <br />

<p>Outstanding service and pricing. Jim Atwell is always quick to reply. His employee  "Don" is courteous, professional, and with a "no nonsense"  approach. Here to the job, not trying to upsell or push "insurance / maitainence programs" on you. He does let you know they exist.</p> <p>Don also went out of the way to great and befriend our dog. Even gave her a few biscuits during their stay. Nice touch!</p> <p>Already have them coming back for some "general plumbing" projects.</p> <br />
