Avery Tree Service

We originally thought we would need a limb removed, but Kelly recommended that we remove the entire tree because it was reaching the end of its life. Kelly's price was fair and his team was quick and professional. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

When I called Avery Tree Service they were at my house within 10 minutes and gave me an estimate. After I agreed to their price they came this morning (the next day from estimate) at 8:00AM and the job was done by 9:30. Jeff Snyder was so courteous and reliable. His workers cleaned up after themselves after they cut the tree down. I did not need it cut down to the stump. I'd highly recommend Avery Tree Service. SEH - Long Branch, NJ

Everything went OK, with all concerns addressed

Large oak tree removed, stump grinded and other trimming looks good. I was told they would use plywood on the lawn to prevent ruts. End result, no plywood and major ruts. Lawn is a mess. Owner came for payment and said he would send someone out to address the lawn as well as debris cleanup that they left in the street. So I paid him for the job. I have not heard from him since. Took the money and ran. Would not recommend.

Everything was done well and the area cleaned completely. Overall excellent job.

John did a great job. Pruned trees were much improved. He removed the Dogwood tree and the stump so I can plant in that area. I would definitely hire Avery again.

Very good. They were responsive, prompt, professional, and cost effective. I was able to reach partner Jeff Snyder on his phone that same Sunday, and he came to our home to assess the situation that day. He agreed that we needed to take action on that tree and we had a 'no pressure' consultation on a few others. After agreeing on what we wanted to take out, prune, or leave alone, we settled on a time to do the work (Tuesday) and a fair price for the work. The owner and his crew were on site as scheduled in less than 48 hours, and we were happy with the results. I've had a lot of tree services work at our property over the 20+ years we've lived there, and Avery Tree service (the ones at 30 Victor Ave in West Long Branch) are professional, prompt, and cost effective. As to details, they demonstrated that they can adapt the way they work to the job. While you can see on their web site that they have all the heavy equipment, they did not use cranes and bucket trucks in this case, but ropes, climbers, and smaller 'bobcat' loaders to move the wood, which saved a lot of yard damage. They could have easily come charging in with their big buckets and cranes and probably done the job faster and torn up my yard a lot more in the process. I appreciated the flexibility in how they did the job. Avery Tree Service delivered a quality service and I'd be happy to use them again.

Hi Jeff and Avery crew! I would like to thank you once again for the terrific job you did! These guys were really the hardest working guys I?ve seen a long time. They did excellent job in very difficult situation - our trees were literally wrapped around a power lines and very closed to my house. I was really amazed watching them removing the trees piece by piece and not a single damage for the house. Wow! All the work made the yard look enormously better- never knew we had so much light! His estimate was the most reasonable compared to five other contractors. I recommended them for my neighbours and they were very satisfied also! I will use them again and highly recommend their service!

Jeffrey Snyder, the consultant for Avery Tree came out to the residence at the time promised (Sunday afternoon) and assessed the condition of the tree.  Within minutes, he had quoted me a price and had the needed help on the way over to the residence to begin work on making the situation safe.   <br /> Jeffrey and his assistant set to work and was dropping the tree with exact precision, that no phone or electric lines were compromised during the operation. <br /> Both Jeffrey and his assistant were very professional and explained in great detail what was needed to be done.  I was very impressed by the teamwork of just two individuals working together.  Each knew what the other needed and worked seamlessly together.  <br /> Very impressed with these two gentlemen and Avery Tree Service as a whole.  Would certainly recommend them for any tree removing jobs.  <br /> <br /> <br />

Avery Tree Service arrived with 6 workers and worked on different areas at once so that they got so much done in only a few hours. Jeff surveyed our property and made recommendations regarding the health and stability of our trees. We agreed on which to cut and which to trim. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up the mess very nicely. They will be returning in the fall to trim more trees.  <br>Our experience was extremely positive and professional.  <br>We would recommend them to anyone looking for fast and efficient tree service and will definitely use them again in the future. 

The work went very well. The major part was done immediately and the clean up was a short time later. This was due to a lot of tree damage in our area from a wind storm. I am very happy with the work. <br />

Jeff is always focused on safety first. They clean up well and went out of their way to take the wood over to my neighbors afterwards. I will continue to use them whenever I need tree service. Most recently they removed 10 oaks and 1 pine and trimmed back a tree as well.

The job went great!  All of the trees were removed from the site without any issues.  A few of the trees were intertwined with a fence and could not be ground all the way down.  Once the fence was removed, they promptly sent someone to finish grinding the stumps.  I was very happy with the work. <br />

Avery removed 4 trees from the back yard located in an area that was hard to access. <br /> The job was completed as promised without damage to other trees or property <br />

All my texts and phone calls were answered promptly. I had originally contracted them for one job and then changed it to a larger job because I had a coupon. On the day they were to arrive, I was told that they would be there in the afternoon. They arrived at 5, which to me is early evening and getting dark. They were surprised when I told them what they were here to do. In the past with other contractors this job has taken two hours. Initially it looked like they did a great job. However, now that it is spring I can see that they threw the dead branches into the trees, stepped on the very fragile aborvitae limbs and broke them. I told them that some of the trees were infected with bag worms and if they saw any please cut them out. They had no idea what bag worms were or perhaps it did not translate correctly. These guys are probably best for cutting down trees and hauling them away, but not for what I needed done. They were quite polite however.
