We had Aviator Heating & Cooling install a 5-head Daikin ductless mini-split system in our Portland home and couldn't be happier. They took the time to explain the different SEER ratings, efficiency options, and pricing so we could make the best decision for our needs. Installation was scheduled for the following Tuesday, less than a week after approving the project. The entire job was completed, inspected, and permitted within two days. I was considering Aviator Heating and Cooling in Portland and a competitor for a heat pump HVAC system. Before the sale, when I called both companies to ask for clarification on a quote, Aviator called me back immediately, while I never heard from the competitor despite multiple calls to their office. I chose Aviator Heating and Cooling because of their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to answer all of my questions. They initially gave me an installation date about a week out and explained the financing options available. A few days later, they called to let me know they had an opening in their schedule and asked if I would like the installation completed sooner. I accepted, and their team arrived exactly as scheduled. The entire installation took only two days. The crew was professional, courteous, and kept me informed throughout the process. They did an excellent job cleaning up after the installation, and the attention to detail was impressive.

I?ve got to say, I never realized how much our indoor air quality was affecting us until Aviator Heating & Cooling came in and made some upgrades. My wife has pretty bad allergies, and someone recommended that we get our air ducts cleaned and maybe look into an air purifier. I called Aviator Heating & Cooling, and they sent William out to assess the situation. He was knowledgeable and explained the whole process to us?he showed us some pretty shocking pictures of the inside of our ducts. We decided to go ahead with the duct cleaning and also added a UV air purifier to our system. The difference has been night and day. The air feels fresher, and my wife?s allergy symptoms have decreased a lot. Plus, the house just smells cleaner, if that makes sense. Powell and his team were efficient, and they took such care to keep the house tidy while they worked. They also vacuumed the floors before they left! We?re definitely breathing easier now, thanks to these guys.

I?ve been using Aviator Heating & Cooling for my seasonal maintenance checks for the past couple of years, and they always impress me. This time, Glen came by to check out our AC before the summer heat kicked in. He arrived right on time and was polite. I love how these guys never make me feel like they?re rushing through the job. Glen took his time inspecting everything, even the parts most people would probably overlook. He noticed our filter was pretty dirty and replaced it on the spot. Then, he cleaned the coils, checked the refrigerant levels, and made sure all the electrical connections were tight. He didn?t try to upsell me on anything I didn?t need, which I really appreciate. Glen gave me some tips on how to keep the system running efficiently, like setting the thermostat a little higher when we?re not home. It?s just nice knowing we?re in good hands with these guys.

I called Aviator for a second opinion on my furnace after another company recommended a very expensive repair. Dan spent the time to thoroughly inspect the system, test for carbon monoxide (which came back at 0 ppm), and clearly explain what he was seeing and just as importantly, what he could NOT confirm without further disassembly.
Instead of jumping to conclusions or pushing a repair, he walked me through the possible indicators, explained the limitations of what can be seen without a full teardown, and told me there was no immediate safety concern and no need to rush into a major expense.
He also checked other components and gave a realistic, practical view of what to monitor over time versus what actually needed attention now.
It’s rare to find someone who prioritizes clear information and honest recommendations over upselling. If you need a second opinion or want someone who will give you a straight answer, I highly recommend Aviator.
