Aviv handled my move from MA to VT. They were on time, incredibly efficient, and professional and courteous.

Very well. Truck arrived early with 3 courteous young men. They were hard workers and careful with loading and unloading. We followed them to our destination and noted that they were good drivers also. Carried furniture up 3 flights of stairs (no elevator) in ninety degree heat. Pleasant and capable. I would use this service again and would have no problem recommending them to others.

Aviv responded very quickly with an estimate of the cost and a date for the move. They sent a confirmation email and were here on the scheduled date ahead of schedule. The four men did an outstanding job of protecting the piano and moved this heavy piece of furniture in record time. I have received two emails from Aviv thanking me for using them - rare in today's world. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others. I was very pleased with their communication and professionalism.

Extremely sloppy customer service, late shipping, and very overpriced ! Please read and stay away from Aviv. My stuff was picked up from my home in Boston more than 20 days back and put in storage by Aviv. After more than 20 days now, there is no shipment date or truck even identified at this point, so I have no idea when my stuff will actually arrive. On costing, I was given an estimate of $5,000 initially when I contacted Aviv based on my 4 bedroom house and listing of stuff. Then I requested them repeatedly to come and see my house in person so I could get a firm estimate of the moving cost. No one came even after multiple requests. Trusting their estimate, I gave Aviv the contract since the competing party gave an estimate of 8,000 after in person visit. On the day of the move, AFTER loading all the stuff in the truck, they gave me a price of more than 12,000 i.e. 2.5 times of the initial estimate ! Now I have paid too much and Aviv is not even returning my emails or calls to get a date for shipping.

The moving company and the men that they sent was a great experience and I would defiantly recommend this company to anyone needing moving services. The moving men were pleasant, quick and very careful with the furniture.

They did a very good service. This was the third time I used them. They came on time. They gave us the best price among other companies. They worked professionally. They got the job done.

They contacted me a few minutes after I sent out some messages on Angies list. Quick setup and fair price for the move. Day of the move, the movers called me to let me know they would be there within an hour. They showed up on time, quickly worked to pack the piano and put it in the truck in a quick and careful manner. Delivery to the other house was equally as smooth.

Aviv responded immediately to my request on Angies List, got all my inventory information and gave me a quote over the phone. They had availability on short notice to send their truck and 3 crew members to move the furniture requested up a 3rd floor walk up apartment. They were fantastic, polite, fairly priced and on the ball. I definitely recommend them for your moving needs.

The four man team that packed the truck AND the two man team that unpacked it were great. they were friends and professional. Listened to my instructions and took care of all of our belongings. <br />

Moving crew was punctual, professional and communicative. All items were wrapped/prepared appropriately. The move went very well -- nothing was broken and we were on schedule. <br /> Issues as follows: refrigerator was moved across wood living room floor and left unresolved scratches. Door to fridge was removed but not replaced correctly and we later learned a part was missing. Some minor scratches and dents to bedroom furniture were noticed after the company left. <br /> These problems may have been an exception, as Aviv was highly recommended, and otherwise their efforts were terrific. While I would not hire them again they definitely have a terrific price point and provided a terrific value. <br />

They did an excellent job wrapping and packing all of our belongings. We moved an entire 3 bedroom house with lots of fragile items and did not have a single item damaged. Since it was the busiest weekend of the year to move things went a little slower than estimated, but overall the job went smoothly. The guys on the team were extremely professional, courteous and careful. I would not hesitate to recommend Aviv to anyone. <br />

The movers had finished a job and called requesting to come early.  I agreed. They quickly and carefully moved my belongings  from one location to another.   My new location is a small house with small 5 step landing into the front door - i was very surprised they managed the large furniture easily into the house.   They did a great job to work efficiently and quickly getting me moved . <br />

I went with Aviv because they were considerably lower in price than any other mover in the area and had great reviews, insured, BBB, etc.  I have been moved by professionals many times before and knew what to expect. We did all of our own packing and dismantling of furniture, with the exception of a huge Ethan Allen solid wood armoire.  They took great care with it (better than any of the three previous moves) along with everything else. <br /> I did request a home visit to make sure that the time estimate was right (I completed an online form itemizing everything, but the estimate was just so much better, I wanted to make sure). The home visit produced the same estimate.  The crew arrived promptly and went straight to work.  They were very professional, pleasant... and fast!  They finagled a narrow Dorchester Street perfectly, with no disruptions.  The floor did get one small scratch during the day, but I was told by the crew not to worry that they would take care of it and their management would follow up with us.  As we approach the end of the day, and their time estimate, the guys hustled!!  The estimate was right on!  As far as the scratch went, their insurance simply reimbursed us for fixing the floor (good as new) very promptly.  The management's responsiveness was awesome. <br />

They dropped desk top still in manufacturer's wrapping and broke Scandinavian wall unit. It was a large piece and they did not disassemble it because quoting: "we do not know how to". As a result while in transporting it got broken into pieces beyond repair. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />They convinced me to buy an extra insurance, and this did not cover anything. The final bill was twice more expensive than the estimate, I needed to pay $400 to another company to remove the broken furniture back from the apartment, and I had to buy another unit instead of the broken one. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Time wise: they spent 3 more hours than estimated on the move, the insurance company they sent me to required everything in hard copies including pictures and descriptions mailed to them, and then after 6 months and numerous phone calls it was clear they lost the claim, then Aviv switched to another insurer who requested again everything in printing and writing mailed, and then declined to pay the claim because the furniture was "particle board". It was a $4000 unit bought in an expensive store. They never warned that they wouldn't be responsible for breaking it, but in the contrary advised me to buy extra insurance.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />This experience is a nightmare. I hired them because of the nice reviews in the Angie's list and some coupons they offered there. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Needless to say the coupons were not honored. <br />
