Kemper sent replacements. It took for ever to get them. We had to call Axis everyday for stats. They didn't call us. When we received the 2nd set of cabinets, out of square doors, broken doors, just poor all around. We paid our contractor to install them and had to wait for a 3rd set of doors . It took five weeks for them to arrive. Now we have them and Axis will not come over to install the new door for us . They wanted us to pay a contractor to install them . It will take about ten hours to do this at $25.00 per hour. We tried to contact them but yet no response from Axis. The language the sales person used (Brain) was unprofessional too. <br />

"This customer had come to us with a list of cabinets they had wanted in Kemper. We ordered there cabinets and had them delivered. There where a few damages from shipping that where replaced. The customer had some concerns about the doors warping. The cabinets where stored in there kitchen prior to installation. There was a missing window opening covered with breathable tyvek paper. The humidity was very high during this time. We advised the customer that humidity control was important We had the sales rep out to there house to take a look at the issues and replace doors that had been slightly twisted. We ended up replacing the doors twice, even though Kemper would not approve on replacing the doors the second time around due to the uncontrolled humidity, our salesman pushed to have them replaced and got the claim approved in order to satisfy the customer. All the parts and doors passed quality control and where with in manufacturing specifications. We had gone out of our way to help this customer out in every way possible. The manufacturing warranty will replace all parts and material for a limited life time. They will not cover the labor to replace the parts, that would be up to the installation contractor. We where not hired to install the cabinets. We also did not give a price to install the new doors as the customer was looking for them to be installed for free. We take pride in our work and do everything we can to please every customer."

We used Axis previously for a kitchen and bath remodel, so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed. <br /> The building of the house was complicated as it had to remain in the same footprint as a previous summer camp, is on a lake thus requiring special permitting, with other homes very close. <br /> . <br /> Adam and his crew were wonderful. Any delays were caused by permitting and inspections, weather seldom led to delays. During the initial building phase ,they were very respectful of the neighbor's property. (This was not easy) <br /> <br /> They installed the kitchen. The cabinets are of great quality and have many useful features. I have the cabinets from the same company in a previous remodel that Axis did. They are as good as new after 7 years. <br /> <br /> Adam has a eye for design and found solutions from any problems that arose. They designed and built a beautiful staircase. I felt that it was a very collaborative relationship. This relationship continues as I already have some improvements that I want to do in the spring. <br /> <br /> Competent, reliable, reasonable, honest, respectful . <br /> <br /> As you can tell from this review, we are very pleased with the outcome and really like Adam and all his crew . <br /> <br />

The only delays in the project were caused because the shower I had ordered was delivered with a crack and had to be reordered. But Adam was great at working with that. I should have let the plumber order the shower then I wouldn't have had that issue. Adam was also amenable to extras that I asked him to take care of. <br /> <br /> Getting ready to start another project with him. Looking forward to it.

Adam said the job would take five weeks and it did. We moved out while the job was completed, but came back nightly to see the job, and a cleaned up work space in progress. Adam was always in contact with us to discuss details, options, and solutions. He gave us notice as when to have our materials selected and the job moved steadily to completion in five weeks. It looks amazing. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. He is a master at his work. A friend of ours hired a very well known, highly visible contractor to do her kitchen on the Seacoast. She spent $100,000. Overall we spent $50,000 between Axis Builders, flooring contractor, electrician, and painter. Both kitchens are a "work of art", but we paid 50% less. Adam specializes in kitchens. You would be remiss if you did not contact him. I am absolutely confident in recommending Axis Builders.

The job went incredibly smoothly. Within two days we were back out on the deck grilling dinner in awe at our beautifully transformed deck. Did I say it is beautiful! Adam's work is amazing. There are few times in my life or career (I'm a teacher - grading is what I do.) that my expectations have been surpassed. Adam, owner, has been in business for 10 years and is truly a professional. I would recommend him over and over again. <br />

Adam & his team (Tim & Nathan) did an excellent job. They were always professional, courteous, and helpful with suggestions and options. They paid attention to details and their finished products are reflective of their skills. They understood our timeframe and our need to "live through the remodel" and thus keep their work space clean and were respectful of my working from home conditions. They were honest, friendly and hard working.

We selected Adam Bunnell of Axis Builders to build our new house because of the excellent job he did on our remodel. On the remodel, he helped with the design, did the demolition, installed the cabinets, built the shower, installed the tub, tiled floors in the kitchen, and the floors and shower in the bath. <br /> The new house only has a foundation at present, but framing will start soon. He has been involved in adjusting the design to improve it.
