Wonderfully! They did an Outstanding job for me. They trimmed the bushes and trees nicely, weeded, and mulched beautifully, with clean, cut edges between the mulch and lawn. They arrived before 8 am on the appointed day and beautified my home exterior for the photo shoot 3 days later. Am very pleased.

Kyle of "Azaleas to Zinnias" was very responsive to our initial inquiry with follow-up, and estimates for work on two different properties coming quickly - ESPECIALLY in the midst of everyone dealing with COVID-19. Both jobs were completed on the same day with WONDERFUL results. The workers took their time and were meticulous in getting every last little weed out of the garden. Borders were edged by hand perfectly. We will definitely be rehiring Kyle and his crew in the future!

Called for an estimate and the company came out and provided a free estimate for the spot I was looking to install a patio. Kyle provided a few options as I didn't know exactly what type of stone to go with. The estimate ended up coming in over $1k cheaper than the other companies. The job took a day to do and it was all coordinated over email because of my schedule. I just left the gate unlock. It looks great and is everything I imagined. I've gotten several compliments already. I would highly recommend company.

Great! Kyle and his team were great-- professional, punctual, friendly. Respectful. Even when my street was closed because BGE contractors were working on gas lines, Kyle kept the appointment. He listened and understood what was needed. Showed up early and did the job in good time.

Kyle Hodges and his team did a great job removing old landscaping and preparing the space for new planting. They also repaired our brick front steps and porch, and installed new path lights to replace old, failing lighting. Kyle is easy to communicate with, and offered a lot of good ideas. We liked his design for new landscaping, and we look forward to moving ahead with the planting in the spring.

Within a day or two of our inquiry, owner/manager Kyle Hodges was here to evaluate our problem and give an estimate for the work he discussed with us. Although we live in a townhouse, the record-breaking Maryland rainfall and the slant of the front lawn toward our foundation had caused serious water build up at our foundation and threat to overflow into the basement.. For several weeks we had been bailing rainwater round the clock from the trench that had formed at the front of our home and using dozens of paper towel rolls to absorb water. Kyle saw the seriousness of the problem, brought his co-worker Matt who would do the work to help plan their project and scheduled a date. Matt was excellent and very thorough. So far the work they did has solved the problem successfully, and we look forward to their return in the spring for more corrective landscaping. We recommend Azaleas To Zinnias most highly and appreciate Angie's List for helping us find such a conscientious, competent, and professional business.

Kyle, the owner, was responsive to my inquiry and came out to do the estimate. I explained what we hoped to do and what our minimum we needed to have done and that we would decide based on the cost. Kyle created an estimate that was broken down into parts so that we could pick and choose what we wanted done. Work was started within a couple of weeks and completed in 2 days. I was happy with his staff and the work performed. The problem we had was afterward. After several days of rain, a section of the yard settled, including the rock wall. It was evident that the yard was not tamped well enough. I emailed Kyle and he agreed to come back out and fix the wall/yard where it settled. We decided to wait until the spring (original work was done in fall of 2017) in case there was more settling. In April I reached out to Kyle and he agreed to come out and take a look. I also informed him that the yard had settled more and it had created a low point where water was draining under the sidewalk and eroding the ground in that area. I have heard nothing from Kyle since then. I have since emailed him again and called him with no response. I was happy with the work overall, but not happy with the lack of follow through and communication. I have been waiting to write this review until the work has been completed, but now I'm unsure it that'll every happen.

This is an addendum to my 6/30 review, to which Kyle responded personally. Kyle met with me twice since then, one time to review the job with me prior to doing the work, and again after his crew came out, to make sure I was satisfied. Kyle's crew worked a very long day, in hot and humid weather, on 7/6; they finished up early on 7/7. I am very pleased with the expertise of the trimming back of the overgrown shrubs and trees; the weeding and pulling away of the old mulch as needed, and mulching with fresh mulch; and the edging. Kyle and his crew did a very professional job for me, my landscaping looks terrific, and I look forward to working with him in the future.

Matt has been here to service my flower beds for several years. Scheduling issues required that he come on Saturday this year. I was impressed with the job he did. He went above and beyond my expectations.

Everything they did was above and beyond expectations. The work was done quick and right the first time. I would defieintly recommend to anyone looking for any landscape work and I used to be in the landscape business so I can be very anal about work being done to my yard but Kyle and his crew did everything perfect.

The owner, Kyle, personally came out to meet with me and developed a proposal and design that met our needs both from a budget and feasibility standpoint given some of our growing challenges and a desire to have a low maintenance landscaping plan. Job went great. Kyle's office called me back promptly when I left my first message and Kyle came out a couple days later and gave me a derailed estimate broken out with a number of different options and prices. We scheduled the work and Kyle came out and sprayed the weeds. The original date for laying the gravel was delayed due to weather, but communication with Kyle was always clear and timely. On the day the work was to be done, Kyle and his crew showed up on time and removed the top layer of existing gravel and put down a Geo-tex underlayment. The gravel was delivered in the afternoon and was spread across the driveway and into the carports. The driveway looks excellent. Kyle and his crew moved stuff we had left in the way so that they could spread stone and cleaned up everything when they were done. They coiled hoses I had left out and made everything look better than when they got there. I recommend Kyle and AZALEAS TO ZINNIAS without hesitation. His price was a third of what another contractor quoted me, and he went above and beyond in so many ways. I didn't include it in my proposal request, but Kyle dug up sunken paving stones and placed them properly in the new gravel, without adding that cost to the estimate. Great company.

-My grass is still patchy-no dead grass was raked before aerating and seeding. -The plants he purchased were SEEDLINGS -All the plants have died and were not planted properly. He must have bought the plants from the "Bargain Section" because they were in tough shape when they were installed. -beds were not re-edged deep enough, they made excuses like the "tree roots were in the way" -I asked for phlox, but he couldn't get them after I paid for them -They left weeds in mulched areas that were to be planted -Stepping stones were left with rubber-mallet marks until I had them fix it with a power-washer. -Everything was a disaster... I learned a very expensive lesson.
