Joe to the rescue! I was having the worst Monday ever. I knocked down my mailbox with my car this morning. Joe came right over and saved the day! He was prompt, polite, knowledge, friendly and courteous. I couldn't be happier with the service he provided. I now have a mailbox that I know will last many, many years. Thank you, Joe!!

Due to a storm and fallen tree my electricity was out all day and when it came back on the GFI receptacle was not working. I had pressed the red button to reset it several times with no luck. I called Joseph late Monday afternoon and he was able to fit me in the next afternoon. He was punctual and very friendly and professional. He pressed the the red button on the GFI and it reset just fine. I guess a women's touch wasn't working in this situation... He was so kind and said that he would not charge me for coming out. What a nice gesture on his part!!! I did tip him though. Needless to say I have saved him to my favorites!!

<p>It went beautifully! After each step Mr. Rizzo informed me of what he was doing. He was very patient with allowing me to stay around and watch and ask questions! I would highly recommend Mr. Rizzo and most definitely from now on, he will be one we call. He was professional and knew exactly what he was doing. You could not find a better handyman. Joey was on time, courteous, and I found he was an effective problem solver for some of the trickier items -- he was able to MacGyver a solution for the drawer repair.  His time and price estimate was dead on.  And importantly for us, he respected our desire for him to take off his shoes inside the house.

Joe did a great job on everything and much faster than I expected.  See formal review below. <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> I have used Joe, the sole proprietor of A-Z Handyman Services, Inc., for many projects over the past ten years, though I lost contact with him for a couple of those years before I moved into a house in the mid-Peninsula about four years ago. He is easily the most reliable, creative, and efficient handyman I have ever used and can efficiently handle most any project.  I would not use any other handyman for any project, or at least would ask Joe first if he could handle it  I know he has access to assistants to handle projects that require more than one person, as he has done that for me on occasion.  <br /> About a week ago, I used Joe for about nine relatively small, widely-varied projects, described in the box "what did the provide do."  I have described a few of those projects in more detail below to give you a little more perspective about what he did for me.  All projects were done in record time and in a complete manner. <br /> In one project, Joe had to glue together several broken wooden door and frame parts for a locked door my son had to break into to get some clothes (he did not have a key), and it looks as good as new, though still needs to be repainted.   In another project, fixing a heavy side gate so it would close, Joe could have easily chosen the standard and longer method (thus getting more compensation, as he works on an hourly basis) of taking the gate door down to fix the problem (probably requiring a lot of my assistance), but upon a close review he determined he could put in new and longer screws in such a way that they would up hold up the gate so it would close as it should. <br /> In another project, where we had to go down to the local Ace hardware store to get a part normally needed to fix a sliding cabinet door problem, the part was not available, but Joe determined another method that solved the problem by buying a non-standard part. That saved a bunch of time and allowed Joe to fix the problem that day without having to wait for the part to come in a few days later and come back to my hose another day to complete that project. <br /> I would trust Joe on most any project, and certainly would see if he could do them (I know he will give me an honest answer if he can't) and will even start using him as my plumber, as he quickly identified and fixed a toilet plumbing issue that I thought had been previously been fixed correctly by a locally renowned and heavily sought out plumber.  Joe is all about fixing the problem the first time he comes out, sometimes creatively, if need be, to get the job done then and not at a later date, and always efficiently in a complete manner.

Just moved to an new apartment that has a few concrete walls and needed pictures and a few really heavy mirrors hung accordingly.  Joe knew exactly how to do the job effectively.  He kicked out my long "Honey-Do" list in just under 2 hours.  Now all the million boxes that were in my living room are in the recycle bin and now I can enjoy my new life here.   <br /> He is a very pleasant, hardworking, knowledgeable guy who has a great sense of humor, and  a good heart.  It was a pleasure having him help me settle into my new place.   <br /> Kudos, Joe.  You're a keeper. Joe Rizzo of A-Z Handyman was punctual, explained the options, included descriptions of what he was doing and why, and he was very professional..His work was thorough and of the highest quality..I will definitely employ his services again and recommend him to friends and co-workers.

He was very professional, punctual and quickly responsive.  He only charged us for 2 hours of his time, and was here 20  minutes longer.  All the work was completed well and the he cleaned up all work areas. <br />

Took pictures of repair work so that we could see what was done since we did not want to climb up on the roof.

Joe came the same day we called to give us an estimate for the job.  We scheduled it for a couple days later.  He showed up as scheduled and got the job done in the time he estimated.  The stuck door was a bit of a challenge to fix without causing damage.  I liked that rather than rush in, Joe was thoughtful in his approach.  Would use again. <br />

Joe was very responsive and gave a quick estimate via a photo and came in under this amount.  He also came by to make sure his estimate was correct before he did the actual work. <br /> Joe is very helpful and polite and did a few other quick fixes while he was here. <br />

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it went well. Their pricing was fair and it was a good experience.  They were very professional and did a good job.

The man who came out was really good. We called him and got a hold of him. He came over and did the work. He was very pleasant and very nice. He provided great service and he did not cost us a fortune. His price was pretty fair and pretty reasonable.

Everything went perfect for what we needed done. He did a great job and when he left everything looked great.

 I was very pleased that he would make the effort to come the same day that I called following his last customer. <br />  He arrived early, was very pleasant and seemed to be experienced with kitchen under sink water filters in general. <br />  After evaluating the problem he was able to switch two of the hoses that the last handy man apparently reversed in <br />  error which restored the water pressure. I would not hesitate to call him again. <br />

I had called a different handyman who did not have a solution on how to replace the broken tiles.  <br /> he found a way to do it. <br /> He suggested to paint the doors instead of replacing them which saved me money. <br /> he had 2 men working along with him to speed up the completion of the project. <br /> i am very satisfied with his work. <br />

He was a very pleasant man and charged a very reasonable fee.  He had planned on coming back to fix my lazy susan as well but I am not sure that I will use him for that.

Joe did a great job - was very personable through the whole process. He came over and immediately fixed our house issues. He is GREAT!  <br />

I've used Joe before to help with other projects.  This instance I needed work done on the sun side of the house as the trim had not aged well.  The paint was peeling and the boards were cracked in places. <br /> Joe, scraped, sanded where needed, primed and painted.  He also matched the paint and fixed a railing for me while he was here.  The end result is perfect as you cannot tell that the trim is any different from the rest of  the house. <br />

I THOUGHT THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. THEY SEEMED TO HAVE A VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT WE NEEDED DONE AND THEY FIXED IT WITHOUT A PROBLEM. I WAS VERY HAPPY ABOUT HOW FAST THEY GOT THE WORK DONE.
