Jerry, the owner, contacted me immediately upon my need for this service. He was at my residence within 30 minutes of our phone conversation. He presented himself politely and professionally. As we discussed the project I showed him what I wanted done and expressed some of my concerns about the laying of the concrete. He was very knowledgeable and informative and quoted me a price in writing. He told me when the project would start and how long it would take to complete. Everything was in order and acceptable to me (including a competitive price). His crew was at my residence the day he said they would be and the job was finished when he said it would be finished. I was told by his crew that my old driveway was one of the easiest they've ever removed. I discussed this with Jerry and he gave me some insight into the proper mixing of concrete and why mine was so easy to remove and assured me I wouldn't have that problem again. My driveway looks great. Everything about this business transaction was as one would expect it to be when conducting business with a professional. I would definitely recommend their services.

<p>Jerry was amazing!  He provided me with a detailed plan for re-doing my backyard to an oasis with pavers, wall, and spa with water features.  While this was going on, he also submitted a bid to replace all my carpeted floors with tile flooring with wood plank appearance (no grout lines).  As both jobs progressed, he added pavers around the house with finishing details for newly rocked in areas at the sides and front of my house.  He also helped me plan the specific plants to put in.  Although the job took nearly 5 months, I am totally pleased with the finished product!  When Jerry began, the neighbors were appalled by the appearance, but by the time it was completed, everyone in the neighborhood (Leisure World) was thrilled--and I believe a bit jealous.  I have given several of my friends Jerry's name; and they've hired him.  Jerry is sincere about the quality of work he provides.  I've got Jerry in my list of phone contacts...he'll be my go-to guy!</p> <br />

We tried to coordinate a follow-up but they never came out. We were supposed to get a sketch but actually didn’t get anything.

I was at the point where I just wanted some ideas to see what was possible. He gave me some suggestions for what I can do when I am ready to move forward with landscaping. He is not so much a designer as he would be the person I would hire to execute the work.

Mr. Finney, promised to warranty his work and three months later has not replaced the plants that were destroyed.  He also has  not leveled the trip hazards on the tile floor.  The border to the tile is also coming loose. <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. We were very disappointed. They took forever. They never could put the lighting in. They said they didn't know how to do lighting in a lawn so we had to get another contractor. They left all the exposed hose lines all over the lawn. We had to bury them ourselves. They were really not professionals. We had to wait a month to get the homeowner association approval because they have to approve every little tiny thing. There were additional costs. They had a subcontractor who did a nice job on the paving stones. That was done very well. The plants they put in all died and the hoses were all exposed. The water stopped working and we had to get another contractor in to figure out why all the plants in the backyard started to die. They had managed to cut some kind of lines. It was a mess.

I wanted to give these guys the benefit of the doubt but I kind of can't now.  All in all the experience wasn't terrible.  Jerry and Joe were the two managers that worked with me.  In the beginning I was impressed with their punctuality and response time.  As the projects begun everything was fine.  Jerry was very patient with my HOA, even driving out to an evening board meeting to make sure things could continue smoothly.  Which I greatly appreciated.   <br /> Eventually I began noticing employees coming and going when they pleased.  Constantly leaving my yard unclean.  Both Jerry and Joe becoming unresponsive.  When I asked for the finishing touches on my yards, even to the extent of giving them more business they wouldn't respond at all or would take weeks to.  The whole process has been extremely long.  Not the quick turn around time like many contractors say.  Yes my HOA had something to do with it but overall I began noticing these things midway thru the projects.  Now it's to the point where I'd say about 80% of the project is done but I'm no longer getting my phone calls returned.  I've given up and begun to put the remaining details into others hands. <br />

In one day Jerry was on site and gave us an estimate right away. He also sent us an estimate on other work that we are considering in the future the next day. Within two days the workers arrived and had the paver driveway done in just a matter of hours. When the project was completed he stated that if we ever had a problem with the project, to give him a call and he would take care of it. I liked how personable he was and that the job was completed in such a timely manner. <br />

Contracted time for job was 2 weeks and it took almost 4.  I absolutely love the final result.  Contractor had some employee issues that delayed the work but they were very accomodating and professional.  Worked above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results and all systems worked properly.  My only constructive comment would be that the owner keep his clients apprised of delays in a timely manner to avoid any misunderstandings or anxiety.  Great Job, love the results! <br />

Very personable guys. They arrived on time and discussed what I needed.  Being new to the Arizona I asked numerous questions on how to take such a large yard and create the perfect backyard with an option to possible put in a pool.  They offered answers to all the questions.  They measured the yard and within a week or so mailed me the design and a very detailed breakdown of the costs for all the options I may want.  I was happy with the design and hope to create a picture perfect backyard.  We will be doing our work piece by piece so I can do what I want and not have to borrow money.  Our first phase will be clearing out the back yard, removing the fruit trees and they said they could be accommodating to our schedule.  Will offer further reviews when the work begins. <br />

Jerry and is crew were great to work with.  They were very responsive and patient with my lack of landscaping knowledge.  They did the work we agreed to on time and in budget.  They also pointed out other problems we had that we didn't know about in the front yard and fixed them for a minimal charge. They were understanding as we waited for HOA approval. Jerry also discussed our long term goals for the yard and made sure that the work they did now didn't interfer with our future goals. I highly recommend AZ Home Services. <br />

I bought a special deal from Angies List to have them come out and quote on re-doing my front yard. They were on time, listened to my ideas, provided ideas and feedback of their own, and they asked questions to ensure that they understood what I was trying to do. They were very professional and provided the drawing and quote in a timely manner. I have not done this project yet as I have multiple remodel projects going but they are on the top of my contact list when my home renovation gets to the point of doing the front yard! <br />

I sent him an email and he emailed me back within 48 hours. During the weekday his secretary called me to set up an appointment. He came on time and performed the consultation. He provided me with drawings of my ideas to remodel the patio. I felt that he listened to me and he was very nice but I don't think he provided me with more options. I'm not an expert on remodeling patios but I provided him my ideas and I think he just took my ideas without giving me a good feedback. So I didn't utilize his services yet, it was only the consultation. He provided me everything that he told me. I think the coupon was good but I think that he could have corrected me. Actually, I wanted ideas. I wanted to see what I could do in my patio to make it look better. I got a second opinion from somebody else and I did like the feedback that I got and so I would most likely go with them. The service was quick. I enjoyed having the consultation because he put my ideas on paper and I was very excited with that and then I got a second bid to make sure that the price was fair. I think the price was fair because the second bid that I got was very very similar. The only thing that I wasn't completely sure about was the design. The second guy corrected me, he said, "This looks better." or "This is more convenient." I like when somebody tells me that because I'm not an expert. The guy was very good but I just hoped that he gave me a little more feedback and not just give what I wanted. I don't regret buying the coupon. He was very professional.

I contacted this company because I wanted to landscape my back yard. The owner was very responsive and provided me with a set of landscape drawings that included trees and other plants for my back yard area that provided my with some shade. My house sits east to west and has a lot of glass, so I get a lot of sun from 4:45 am to 8:00 pm that heats up the house. I did not want trees with a lot of debris in the pool, and the plans he came up with would help with the shade, adding little debris to the pool. <br />

He is putting <strong> MY vision into a real, touchable, seeable thing.  How amazing is that?   And I'm a design engineer.....</strong> <br />

The concrete work and landscaping work went well and we're very pleased with the results. <br /> They had trouble with the connections for the irrigation system; I had to redo it to fix the leaks.   <br /> The 6-port irrigation heads had individual shut-off valves on each port. We thought that this was a good idea but, in practice, these little valves regularly pop out of the heads. I replaced the heads. <br /> They kept us informed at every step, which we appreciated. <br /> We would use them again for everything except the plumbing. <br />
