About us
Baca’s Trees, Inc. (BTI) was founded in 1980 by three brothers. Their goal was to provide the community with the best possible service in the tree industry. Since its founding, BTI has been devoted to maintaining a good standing relationship with our clients, who in turn help us continue to serve our community by working with local non-profits & donating all organic materials that we generate. We currently have approximately 30 employees and run six crews on a daily basis, who work on both residential jobs and commercial & municipal contracts throughout New Mexico. In addition, we have well-trained office staff dedicated to assisting customers throughout their experience with us. Many of our employees hold an ISA certification in Arborculture. At BTI, we are proud to call ourselves an honest and quality service provider as well as a good place to work.

Baca Trees was fantastic from start to finish. Robert, the estimator, was punctual, friendly and knowledgeable; he provided an estimate the same afternoon. On the day scheduled for the work, the crew arrived early to be ready to start at the agreed upon time. They were extremely efficient and did a fabulous job with our trees. They not only cleaned up our yard, but picked up branches and leaves from our trees that had fallen into the neighbors' yards as well. We would certainly hire this company again.

Baca's trees pruned and shaped 2 large trees and 1 overgrown bush from our property. They also removed 3 Trumpet vines that were growing around a tree in front yard. Ramon, Ignacio and Gerry arrived on time, were professional, neat and were very knowledgeable about trees, shrubs etc.. I would highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them again.

There was a crew of 4 with a truck and cherry picker. They went through every branch of both trees trimming and cutting. The job took a little over 2 hours. They put all the material through a wood chipper, raked up the grass underneath, and even used a leaf blower to finish cleaning. The trees look fantastic.

It went great. Finished within 3.5 hours. Cutting down a cottonwood tree and few other plants. Would use them again.

Requested that a representative come to my home and evaluate a tree that had a growth. When I called I spoke to a very pleasant individual and she scheduled the appointment. Camille showed up on time and was fantastic. She explained that my tree was okay with the exception of needing more water than my irrigation system was delivering. The growth on the tree was not in an area that would cause a problem and she gave very clear and extensive instructions on how to properly maintain my trees.

They came out and they did an excellent job. They are very professional and everyone seem like they knew what they were doing. There was no wasted time or motion. They trimmed the trees very nicely. They got a machine that takes care of the limbs and they clean very well. I'd definitely use them again.

Corkey was our sales rep. He was fine to deal with in the beginning. Once the work was complete and we had serveral issues is when his attitude changed for the worse. He wasn’t happy at all dealing with the mess they had left. They messed up our driveway and walkway, left the backyard a mess and broke a sprinkler. They did fix the sprinkler and had someone clean up all the white marks they left in the driveway and walkway, but that is all Corkey said they were willing to do. They left a bunch of sctratches and several pretty deep scrapes in the driveway and walkway. They also left the backyard a mess. Our rocks and grass were filled with dirt which I had to clean up. I also had to plant new grass where they had killed the old grass. We were told the plants came with a one year warranty. We had 1 plant die, so I called 5 times over a month and a half. Each time I called the lady who answered told me she would have Corkey call us back. Never got a call so I had to replace the plant myself. I guess he wasn’t willing to take care of the plant either! I was really disappointed in the quality of service I received from Corkey and Baca’s Trees.

Every spring Baca sprays the lawn, shrubs and trees with a mixture of insecticides and fertilizers Baca has the equipment and personnel to do the work in a matter of minutes and we have been well pleased with the results. Even on our small lot the price ($200) is reasonable when balanced against the cost of time, tools and materials of doing the work yourself.

Excellent, the two men arrived promptly, were very professional, and did a superb job on the tress, they look very good. My yard had not evidence that they were even here. They also saved a vacated birds nest that in was in a branch that had to be trimmed as I mentioned my granddaughters were bird watchers. Cannot recommend Baca's Trees highly enough, in a previous year they saved a plum tree for me that is thriving!

I got 3 quotes from different providers before deciding on Baca. All 3 were almost exactly the same price except that Baca included cutting the stumps below grade and then grinding the stumps. To me that was a huge deal and the job they did was outstanding. They had to coordinate with my neighbor to get all the limbs and do clean up. They were very professional and did everything just as it was quoted. The best part was that the other quotes said it would take at least 5 days and Baca said it would be 3 days. They completed all the work including hauling off all the wood in 2 1/2 days! And they did an amazing job of clean up including fixing some parts of a short retaining wall that they fixed better than it was before they came. There were no surprises with the invoice either. Everything exactly as quoted. I will use them and recommend them to everyone.
