The owner was somewhat disorganized and had trouble remembering where I live. Unfortunately, he had a real jerk working for him who was extremely careless and immature. When I asked him not to step on one of my plants, he tromped on it thinking I had said "please don't step on my spaghetti." Go figure. The lawn was well-aerated but it could have used more seed. <br />

Could not tell any difference in the lawn. The bare spots were still bare. This was pretty much a waste of money for me. I am going to have to seed the lawn myself. When I called Sean he said it needs to be done every year with a full program of spraying and maintainence to get results. He never said this before he took my money. I am very unsatisfied. <br />

"I didn't take the money - it goes through Angie's list who convinced me this was a great coupon for me to offer even though they receive about 40% of the money and let the contractor work for pennies on the dollar - sorry that you weren't satisfied but the Angie's list deal is something I will never do again because I can't afford to do things their way."

The work turned out to be terrible. They came in here, and they were supposed to aerate and reseed my lawn, and I think they must have made 2 passes in the back, and 2 passes in the front, and then they just left. I don't have any new grass because of their performance, it was just a sham. The ground wasn't proper for him to do what he was going to do, but he did it anyhow. He got $128 out of me for nothing. I told him when he was here, and told him that I have some other work like trimming rose bushes, replacing some track alongside some pavers that I have. He said yes, and then he didn't call me back. He was arrogant.

It turned out not very well. They showed up without noticed. They said they called and left a message, I find that impossible since our answering system wasn't working. Nothing has grown and my lawn wasn't prepared or ready for people come to see it. They just came, they just put up on top of the leaves and I was not satisfied. I was not happy at all. They came on their own accord and did whatever they wanted to do. I would expect the business to want to promote their work and succeed on what they've done and they didn't succeed on that.

"I advised the customer that I called but could not leave a message however, I wrote an email indicating the date we would arrive which I have accounted for. The front lawn had minimal leaves however the back lawn was covered in them. We actually went the extra mile and cleaned the leaves up to aerate and overseed. We used extra seed on that portion because there was no lawn and I indicated that to the customer. I also advised the customer that there would be no grass growth because the tree in the back yard needed trimmed and grass needs 60% day light. I believe the customers account of this is fraudulent and I'm not happy with with their review especially considering we spent the extra time to clean up the back yard and placed extra seed."

Called me to confirm time and check if any pets would be in the yard. Came and performed service on time. No "unexpected surprises" or cost increase over what was originally quoted. Service was performed as described. Very satisfied and will use again. <br />

We contracted with Bailey's for a special price for lawn aeration and over-seeding. Shawn Bailey came out originally on or about April 3, 2014 to perform the work. After he completed the job I spoke with him later in the afternoon and we came to the realization that their was a misunderstanding of how much seed was to be applied for the overseeding per the represented offer and that the proper amount was not used. Bryans response was quick and professional; he agreed that the actual amount of seed used and the amount that was supposed to be applied was different and that he would rectify the matter. Today the balance of the seed was applied and we are completely satisfied. <br />

Finally got a call back after leaving a message a week prior. I think they were on vacation. The crew performed the backyard cleanup (overgrowth of vegetation) and did a good job....but my parents discovered that the TV antenna cable had been cut. Bailey's said they would fix it but never did and that the cable was hidden by all the overgrowth and it was just collateral damage. I think more care should have been taken to avoid cutting any cabling/wiring and more effort made to fix it. Lawn was mowed 3 times and they did a good job with that part.

"We apologized for the inconvenience and [member name removed] was advised that if we did by chance cut the TV antenna cable it was due to the extreme overgrowth of weeds and shrubs surrounding it. Our responsibility was to trim and remove all excess overgrowth in the back yard. My company is extremely fair when it comes to accidents. However, it is unreasonable to establish that we would be responsible for fixing said wire due to the circumstances."

Bailey's Lawn Service has been servicing my properties for more than 2 years now. Over the last 10 years I have been through many many lawn companies, both big and small, and until Bailey's did not get the reliability, quality, and responsiveness that I expect. Now things a nearly always done to the high level of quality and precision that I require. On the rare occasion when an employee misses something or somethings is done improperly, a quick call to Shawn results in a personal inspection and prompt correction. When I have a special event or atypical project, Shawn gives the extra attention and/or makes the necessary accommodations I require with a smile and an attitude indicative of his desire to provide the highest possible level of customer service.
