Do your research and get other estimates first, especially with skylights. Having used Baltic for a couple of minor jobs in the past. I trusted them to be fair and competitive with their pricing. Big mistake on my part. I had 2 leaking skylights in April '22. So I called Baltic and they were out the next day to give us an estimate of $6800 to replace them. Not knowing the model number, actual cost of the skylights, how big of a job, how many people would be needed and risking further damage inside our house. We signed a work order. 2 days later they were installed. 1 man was able to do the job in less than 6.5 hours. He left without leaving any paperwork. Afterwards we asked for the warranty info and final paperwork. We then learned these skylights could be purchased anywhere between $343-$504 delivered online. So even with a markup and additionl materials used. They charged us over $800 per hour for 1 man labor. We emailed them back and forth with our concerns of being overcharged. It got us nowhere. We then got other estimates for the job. They ranged from $3400-$4650. Quite a difference from Baltic at $6800. We then brought that to their attention. Again that got us nowhere. One minor issue indirectly related: Went with the financing offer Darius provided through EnerBank USA. Not so sure I would use them again, but definitely would use Baltic. <br />

He came out promptly for the estimate and we scheduled the date immediately. They showed up as promised and hey did beautiful and professional work. Upon completion, the price never grew and they did amazing with the cleanup. Very professional and honest. We are beyond pleased. <br />

Darius and his team were efficient and courteous. The job was originally quoted as a two day job, but they completed it in one long day. Clean up was thorough. Not the cheapest, but competitive.

I cannot say enough about Baltic Home Improvements and the owner Darius. They were quick, very professional and did a high quality job. I am an inspector for heavy construction which includes construction of buildings, paving , roofing, etc. I watched the progress closely. They not only did the work quickly, it was done correctly. It was a full strip off and replace. We purchased the 50 year warranty Dow Corning roofing shingles because the quality of the materials and the installation procedures were far superior for the relatively small cost increase. The skylights we had installed were quality Velux and were much better than the originals. Finally the ridge line vents have added greater air quality and heat dissipation and, as Darius suggested, would add a more quality look to the design of the roof. Darius worked with my wife and I on color selection and his suggestions were perfect. Darius is a friendly and hard working guy who is not high pressure at all and is concerned with the quality of his crew's finished product. His crews were easy to work with and did a stellar clean up job. Many of his crew apparently had a great deal of experience in Europe and have brought that attention to detail with them. <br /> Baltic Home Improvements have done other roofs in the neighborhood, which is how we found them. Everyone we have talked to has been very pleased with the company, with the owner Darius and with the finished product. I would recommend them to anyone. In addition, they have some of the best pricing you will find. I doubt you will find this quality anywhere at a lower price. The warranty they offer from Dow is a 50 year, transferable (to the next owner) and is NOT PRORATED! That's a HUGE item if you decide to sell your home. <br />

<p>So he had his non-English speaking crew install the roof - we had to try to get them off the roof during a Tornado... they finished the job and it looked good</p> <p>For three years we had mild winters no real problems</p> <p>Now last year the winter was harsh and the problems reappeared. </p> <p>I made Darius aware of my challenge and when the thaw came it backup in my walls raining in my home. </p> <p>I sent Darius the video and he came out. </p> <p>Now here is the rub - Darius backed out of everything he promised me. So after a couple unfriendly dialogs he redirected me to NRCA. Never mind the 5K extra I paid him to fix my problem. "We stand very strongly behind our work. The roof was done in compliance with all industry standards and requirements. This particular area was done with extra care, considering that customer had ice dams and leaks every year, even in mild winters. For 3 years there were no problems with water leaking (rain or snow), but unfortunately there is no way to predict Ice Dams, especially in winter like we just had, although we took all the necessary steps to prevent it. Excessive ice build-up on the roof is homeowner’s maintenance responsibility. When customer contacted us this winter, we immediately responded, went out and did an inspection, and gave customer few options on how to fix the problem: improving cathedral ceiling insulation, installing a heating cable, putting Calcium Chloride on the ice and also keeping the gutter system clean of debris. Unfortunately, the customer was not happy with any of the options that we suggested couple of times. We never guarantee stopping ice build-up, as is it beyond our control. We are a very reasonably priced, professional and responsive company, providing quality workmanship in a timely manner. In regards our crew, who were professional, English speaking men – they had to secure the roof when an unexpected storm started to prevent any damage to the interior. We are open for an independent roofing workmanship inspection, if customer thinks there is a need for that."

Darius was excellent to work with. He came out to the house and went through everything with me. I had at least 6 business come out and give me estimates. Baltic was not the cheapest, but I felt most comfortable with the warranty and the information Darius provided. The first part was the roofing. His crew came out and got started on time. The shingles came off and the new ones went on right away. Everything looked great. We did have some damage to the windows from the shingles being tossed down, but Darius made it right. Next went the siding. The tear off and the installation went great. Only concern was we had Tyvek house wrap in the contract and I noticed they used a mix of brands. Not a major concern because I spoke with the crew and they assured me what they were doing was best. Darius was very patient with me as I worked through the insurance company for payment. I would highly recommend working with him and his company. His siding crew was outstanding and friendly. Our house looks great! <br />

On our current home, we replaced cedar shake with Grand Manor shingles and Baltic did another excellent job! They are an outstanding company and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roof repair or replacement. Thank god for Angies list that I found Baltic Roofing . When Darius came to our house he was totally professional in his presentataion as to what would be needed to replace roof . He did a thourough inspection inspection of the roof and then proceded to explain what needed to be done ,made suggestions that appealed to us . Of course with any roof job you dont know whats underneath the shingles till you pull them off . The original sheathing was as new as the day it was installed 50 years ago. <br /> We called Darius back because we felt that his estimate was the best for what we were looking for . We felt comfortable to sign a contract that had the description of the work to be done . Darius was prompt at all times ,called when necessary to keep us apprised of any scheduling changes , he came out and inspected the progress of his crew, and addressed any issues to make sure job was done correctly. His crew also reflected their professionalism , courtesy and attention to detail. <br /> Darius , his crew , and Baltic Roofing are the best , we will use them in the future for other work we need done . We highly recommend Baltic Roofing to anyone . You will not be disapointed guranteed!! <br />

Baltic Roofing did an excellent job replacing our asphalt roof, skylight and gutters. After researching and receiving quotes from six roofing companies we decided to go with Baltic Roofing. Darius thoroughly explained everything he was going to do from start to finish that we had no questions left to ask him. Not only did he offer great products we knew after meeting with him he would also offer great service and we were not disappointed.We were originally only going to replace our roof, but decided to replace our skylight and gutters. His crew is very professional. Darius is easy to contact and returns your call the same day. He even followed up with us after the work was completed to see if we had an questions.
