Basement Boost / Bath Boost

I paid a down payment in April 2018. design was finally completed in June. final measurements were made in July and a commitment to installation on September 10. On August 31, I was informed by an employee of Bath Boost that the company had declared bankruptcy. I visited their office on 9/1 and found that there was a notice to employees that the doors were closed and they had filed for bankruptcy. See photo.

The project started later than originally expected, not getting phone calls answered when I called them. I finally spoke with owner and he promised to make things right and he did. My project is near end and looks AMAZING

Quoted price of 17,500, was given "discount" for flexible scheduling, promised completion in December 2017. I paid $8500 in two installments in September and November. In January, having heard nothing, I called and was told the project rep was hospitalized and the office in disarray, and thanked for my patience. Multiple, multiple calls and emails later, now JUNE, I cannot get a straight answer out of anyone. I was emailed that they still have no date for my project due to "injuries and delays" and that they are willing to refund my money, but I have not seen any of it, and now I am unable to get any answers at all. RUN AWAY!! They are dishonest scammers and will steal your money.

Basement Boost is Great! They have some awesome solutions for waterproofing the basement. The system they have is very thorough, and I love that they wrap the walls, and install a ventilation system. They were in and out, it was pretty straight-forward, and they did what they said they were going to do. I also had some foundation issues, that they recommended I take care of, and they were able to do that as well. I’m happy with the company.

Contracted for a room/bathroom in my basement. Was told it would take 2 weeks once started and our contract stated the job would be completed on or before 180 days. The start date was supposed to be in November and they didn't start until January 2nd or 3rd. 2 months and 4 days after finally starting, our fourteen-day job not completed. 229 days after signing the contract and our 'on or before 180 days complete' still not completed! Had to threaten to not allow them back in before more than one worker came in to complete the work and my complaints were taken seriously. Serious breach of contract, overpromising and under delivering. On top of the time issue, the bathroom flooring wasn't installed correctly so that needed to be pulled up and redone. The office paint color was wrong, had to ask them about the light over the sink/mirror. The worker would come and go as he please and worked at his own leisurely pace-showing up on the weekend whenever to work, or measure, or to check on supplies. It was disruptive, frustrating, and a slow painful process. NOT recommended!

Overall, good, but the high price of proceeding with a basement redesign shocked me. I'm new to this, so I'll grant them that...

Very professional prompt dependable

From beginning to end these guys were on top of every detail. From design, to final design, to last day punch list they handled every issue with total professionalism and pride, and the wall panels are exactly what they described. My basement is warm and the cost of heating it is much less than the heating cost upstairs. GREAT JOB!

The experience was excellent. However, their installation estimate was higher than expected. It appears that they would use superior quality materials.

I had John out to give me an estimate on what we were wanting done. He was easy to work with and down to earth. We decided to move forward with the job and I cannot wait to see how it turns out. I’ve attached a picture of what we want and let’s hope he makes it happen!!

After everything completed we are excited about our new space. Enjoyed working with Terry, Dan, Jeff, Jesse and crew. They were very professional, personable, always there and accessible. We highly recommend Basement Boost.

I am not one to write reviews being so busy, but when I do, its because I had one of the best experiences!! This company needs to know they did a fantastic job and I am loving my basement! I actually miss the guy! I am not a trusting person especially now a days when it comes to letting strangers in my house, especially in this field. They were professional, funny, trusting, my niece loved them! It was wonderful. I would trust them in my house alone!!

Better than any other construction experience I've had. Very professional and work completed ahead of schedule which NEVER happens! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality basement remodel done professionals
