Bat Bee & Hornet Removal Service

Experience was excellent.

A few years back our company was taking a large tree down and it had about 1000 bee's inside the tree. Bat Bee & Hornet came and removed the hive and the bee's. So now I had a need at our home, we had a next of about 30 to 40 European Hornets living inside our Gazebo. I called Paul and he came out, I was not home when he performed the work, but my neighbors watch him and when I came home, no hornets not even a dead one on the ground. It has been over a week now and still no hornets. Now Paul did say they can return and eggs could be around that have not hatched yet. I am hopeful they are gone for good. I must say I did call another company first, because I forgot at first about the Bee's in the tree since it was work related vs home related. And the other company would only work with us if we became a client that used their services for home pest prevention's. They quoted me a price a couple hundred more than what Paul quoted me, and then once Paul did the work he discounted his price close to 20%. Yes i would call Bat Bee and Hornet again.

Dispatched person arrived at the house very promptly. Proceeded to inspect the attic spaces and crawl spaces. Inspector provided a verbal analysis and recommendations for removal of mice and possibly flying squirrels in attic. Invoice that I received indicated that a "treatment" was provided. No treatment was provided as I was with the inspector the entire time. I paid $125 for approximately 30 minutes of visual inspection. The price seems very steep. I would not recommend this business to my friends. The inspector seemed knowledgeable but $125 for 30 minutes of inspection seems very high. I could be wrong.

Bat Bee & Hornet Removal Service didn't do much. It was not very effective. They were on schedule on whatever we agreed. The only problem is that they weren't that effective. They didn't get rid of the wasps. They showed up and there is nothing negative but it just didn't work. To a friend or relative, I would just say that it is not worth the money.

So he sealed them up and sprayed poison in our walls, and said we were responsible to remove the comb. But we paid for REMOVAL, and he did a half-hearted job and tried to exterminate. And he didn't even do that well because when we climbed up 8 days later to start removing siding to perform the removal we already paid him for the bees were still alive and coming in and out of the hive! So he not only did not remove the hive as we paid for, he didn't even kill them like he tried. That is a mixed blessing because after researching other companies and how to properly remove bees I found that in the hot summer months it is live bees fanning the comb that prevents it from melting and dripping honey everywhere. So had his plan worked we would have melted, dripping honey running all over inside our walls. <br /> P.B. Davis said he would come back if they were still alive. We called and left a message, no response. So assuming he is honest and would come back, I am not sure I want him to because all he has to offer is pumping poison in the walls at removal prices. <br /> And he didn't even give us the discount when we told him we found him via Angie's list. <br /> I am finding another company to actually complete the service I paid him for so my walls don't get ruined. I understood that he wouldn't replace my siding or do any restorative carpentry in the process of removing the hive, but since he didn't even do the removal I am down $245, potentially have some melting hive in my walls, still have an active (though wounded) nest in my walls, and I am functionally at square one when it comes to removing the bees. I am worse off for having engaged with him, and it is clear that he is fine with doing an inadequate job because most people don't know thing one about what to do when there is a hive in their walls. He seems happy to leave the situation worse than how he found it. <br />

Responsive, punctual and professional. Unfortunately I did not use the Angies List deal and it ended up costing much more than Angies List posted.  They cannot guarantee that bees will not return.  I've already seen more carpenter bees since the treatment.  No wasps yet though. <br />

We had quite a few problems with wasps around our mailbox, front door and windows.  Since the service I have only seen one stray wasp.  Wonderful job! <br />

We had hornets nest in side our siding and in the joists of a porch ceiling.  When the weather got colder, the hornets started coming inside the house.  They responded the same day we called.  They taped up some gaps in the moldings on the floor above the porch(where the hornets were getting into the house) and then fogged the bees.  They also caulked the siding outside so the hornets would not return.  Fast, great job, friendly guys.  That cost about $250.  We were so happy they came so fast because we were leaving for vacation in 2 days and some friends were housesitting.  We didn't want our friends to have to deal with that problem since they were doing us a favor.  It was a relief! <br /> Today, we woke up to find a black snake hanging out of a hole in the front porch ceiling.  We had seen this snake in the spring but lost sight of him.  This was a good snake, non-poisonous, eats mice, etc but.....we sure didn't want him getting into the house to spend the winter.  Again, they came out the same day and removed the snake to be released into the wild.  Cost was $145.  Again, having them come out quickly was such so important because if the snake moved, we wouldn't have known where it went.  Very happy with their services again! <br />

Paul and his assistant Larry arrived on time and removed a very large hornet nest which was located very close to where we park our cars. They were very friendly and were experts at removing the nest. We had also been having problems with black wasps showing up in our bedroom repeatedly over the course of several weeks.  They investigated the attic and found several large wasp nests and removed them as well.  Before they came, we were averaging 3-4 wasps a week in our bedroom, but since they removed the nests, we haven't seen any. <br /> Paul also walked around the outside of the house and told me where the wasps were likely getting in, and suggested ways that we could seal up cracks around windows and at the top of the house in order to prevent problems in the future. <br /> We had a bat in our bedroom a few weeks prior to calling them. We were able to remove it ourselves, but we wanted to know if there were any other bats in the attic.  Paul checked the attic as well as possible outside entry points and found that there was no evidence of a bat problem. <br /> The price was a bit steep, but considering the size of the nest and the number of wasp nests that were found in the attic, it was worth it to call in an expert to do what I didn't want to attempt to do. <br /> Overall, we had a very good experience with Bat Bee & Hornet Removal Service, and if we have any more problems with critters, we will be sure to give them a call and would recommend them to anyone else. <br />

We had a hornet nest that was about 18 inches big.  Although Keith was very busy, and had a truck that down, he kept me updated on his time of arrival and did come on the day he promised.  He was knowledgeable and friendly.  We would use him again. <br />

Owner responded to my Angie's List inquiry quickly. An appointment was scheduled on the first phone call, but due to rain the service was not performed. The owner did not call to cancel or reschedule. I called when they were a no show and left a voice mail asking for a return call to reschedule. I ended up calling them and talked to Mr Davis. We rescheduled for 8/5/14 between 12:00 and 1:00. I did call the night before to verify the appointment. Once we got the appointment scheduled things progressed as expected. The technician arrived within an hour of the scheduled time, but he did call to inform me that he was running a little late. Once he and his helper arrived, they located the hives, and went straight to work. Once the hive removal was complete, the tech showed me the hives and answered my questions in a professional manner. I would use this service again. <br />
