Bath Planet of the TriCities

Subpar work. State contractors license investigation initiated. After state of TN inspection found gross negligence and incompetence- Bath Planet/Teka Building Developments state of TN contractor license was revoked for gross negligence and incompetence. Use at your own peril - you’ve been warned.

Still unfinished 2 years after the fact. Vent/heat/light fan in master bath was to be vented outside. It wasn't. Now we have water damage in ceiling. Common bath vanity top and backsplash still not connected. Caulking peeling back around shower surround. Water damage to baseboards due to toilet line installed incorrectly. A mess. An expensive mess.

<p>Everyone we dealt with Bath Planet was outstanding.  Don helped us design our new bathroom; Terry set up the job; Landon oversaw it and Clarence, Nick, Cliff and Brandon executed the work on time and professionally.  Clarence repositioned a cabinet 3 times to get it right by his exacting standards and stayed late several nights to make sure everything was done.  The cabinets installed were custom made in Teka builders shop and were beautiful.  We were very pleased with the result and would be thrilled to work with Bath Planet/Teka Builders in the future.</p> <p>[Member info removed]</p>

Went extremely well. We met Karen at the Kingsport Home Show at Meadowview Convention Center. We had our bathroom remodeled by a previous Bath Planet franchisee and when I tried to contact them about my dissatisfaction, I could not reach anyone. They appeared to have gone out of business. That was about 3-4 years ago and I had given up. Then we met Karen and she was very understanding and when corporate would not pay to correct the bad workmanship she stepped up on her own and sent a worker out who corrected the problem. This is the way to do business. I hope Karen and her husband remain the local franchisee for many years to come.
