He didn’t perform the work, claimed he had cancer and promised but failed to provide a refund.

Instead of lifting all the pavers & truly redoing the patio with paver base sand, he only lifted certain pavers to level with sand. After it rained the patio pavers shifted leaving them uneaven with gaps & looking like a wave, & when you walk on them they are moving (wobbling). He also didn't edge the pavers. I contacted Mr. Johnson & he agreed to come back & make repairs if we brought the additional supplies needed such as paver base sand, edger, sod - which we brought the next day so h3 he could do the job that Monday. It's over 3 weeks now & so many excuses & no return calls from Me. Johnson. My wife paid him, so at this point in time we are not sure if we will hear back from him or if he will stick to his word to correct his mistake.

It took them almost three weeks to get back to me. When we finally scheduled the service, they never showed up and didn't respond to my three telephone calls. Now Angie's List is keeping my $259 unless I schedule some other lawn service through them. What a ripoff!

One of their subcontractors tore up an irrigation line with a stump grinder and they have yet to repair it. Turned out to be $350 for a truck load of dirt and 90 minutes of labor. Disappointed.

"we have photos of the broken sprinkler line prior to the project ever being started. The stump grinder didn't bust any lines that company has been doing that type of work for over 30 years and its their responsibility to check for lines and cables. I was hired to install topsoil and thats what we did. And also installed a sprinkler line that you didn't want to pay for. So we did it for free."

They were punctual and completed the job. They also removed the debris. The price was competitive. I definitely would recommend them and will use them in the future.

Came with not enough on first showing left open space for a week. Most died despite watering regularly paying someone not on Angie list to redo the lawn.

"We installed the sod properly and we were not the reason you lost your sod. You didn't have a sprinkler system and you can't rely on watering manually. Also with the heavy rains st Augustine is to fungus out. So I don't agree to the rating that was given because we are not responsible for the care of your lawn. You could have easily called us for more information on care if you were having an issue."

Never performed work. Took $250.00 without performing work agreed on and a gross lack of communication. Scam Artist. Stay far away. A danger to themselves and everyone around this supposed "business".

I ordered an Angie's List deal for 3 CY of mulch delivered and installed. They were a previous award winner, and the deal was good, so I figured why not. This was back in May 2017. Order went in, and they said they would call to schedule us. Got a call the next week from a female, said they were busy fulfilling the deal, and then scheduled us for a day the next week. Was raining the day we were scheduled, nothing was delivered, we figured they'd show up in the next day or two. We went on vacation, came back, and still no delivery. I called them to reschedule, and this time a male answered what sounded like a cell phone. He said he did not recognize my order but would check in the office and get back to me. Waiting a few days, no response. Contacted again, said we'd be scheduled. Nothing. Contacted again, said we were on the schedule for the next week (no specific date, just "next week"). After that week came and went without delivery, I contacted them and Angie's List to cancel the order and process my refund. So for two months I never had any work completed, and was issued my refund.

Not well at all. I had to ask him to re--do both areas. Additionally, he broke my screen door, and several palm fronds just by being careless and lazy, I will not use them again

Jay was very responsive via phone and text in getting me a quote. Also very responsive and prompt in showing up exactly the time he stated. Cypress mulch was nice quality. Great job installing/spreading the mulch and cleaning up. Would recommmend and use again.

Johnson stepped up to take over the job from Bay Area landscape since they had a family emergency and could not compete it. Johnson also honored the price /deal that I had purchased via Angie's even though it was a different company. Kudos to both Bay Area and Johnson. Excellent professional work and highly recommend. Also discussed some landscape trimming work and he recommended not since it would make it look stalky . Good advice.
