When Said came out to our house, he seemed like a good guy. Unfortunately, after he sent me a scheduled date to start the work I never heard from him again. I contacted him multiple times and then had to get Angie's List involved in order to get a new provider.

No service was performed. I emailed the provider 3 times, called and left voicemails with my call back number and no response within a 3 month time period. I would not recommend this company based on this poor communication to set up a service I had already paid for.

Said is very professional. He showed up when he said he would, each time he met with me on time. He was very reasonable regarding price, and his workers are well trained to be self reliant, they focus on their job with no distractions. When addressing them, they are polite and respectful among the other workers on site. They do a neat job without leaving any mess at all. I am a contractor and property investor, I will hire Bay State again and again.

It went great. Bay State Painting was promt, courteous, and very neat. They made sure to protect furniture and was very thorough in their cleaned up. They were very professional and did a excellent job painting. I received many compliments on the job. They also did a great job removing the wall paper to a neat clean wall.

The team of 4 painters were FABULOUS. They were on time for the job, they were quick, and they left my apartment looking like it was ready for a photo shoot. I had bought the Big Deal for two hours of painting, but they were moving so quickly and doing such a good job that I decided to pay them to do more painting than I had originally planned on. They were very responsive before the work began and made the whole project very easy. I have never hired painters before, insisting I can do it myself. But, boy, is it worth it to have these guys come in and get it done in one day! I would hire them again in a heartbeat. <br />

Said's crew arrived first thing on Tuesday morning and worked all day on the sanding, scraping and detail work of our very old sun porch. Much of the paint was old lead paint and we did just have the wood floors in there refinished so the crew was extremely careful to wrap up the floors and vacuum all the dust and debris after scraping due to the lead paint. These guys worked non stop until the evening and then again at 7am the next morning until the job was finished. Said worked out paint colors with us and during the job phoned me to ask if everything was looking the way we desired. Every was excellent. His crew cleaned up quickly as well and made sure to go over the job before leaving and collecting payment. We couldn't be happier with the job and highly recommend Said and his crew for any painting. We have a big house and will most likely be calling Said again. <br />

Professional and hard workers! I was amazed with what they got done in 8 hours. I have already spoken to Said about having my Master BedRoom painted down the road. LOVE my new house - it's light and airy - and I couldn't be anymore please. I am SO happy that I choose Bay State Painters and will recommend them to family and friends. Initially, I met with the head contractor who came quickly and on time to the site. He looked it over carefully and discussed the job with me very candidly and in a friendly, reasonable manner. He understood that I was preparing the condo for sale and that I wanted it to look appealing to potential buyers. He had some helpful and cost effective ideas about what to do. He quoted $2500 for labor understanding that I would pay for the paint he purchased with no markup. This was the best quote I got out of three painting companies. The workers came and worked all day for 3 and one half days. I was especially impressed by the prep work the crew did. This was not a superficial prep job. They filled all the defects in the walls and a major defect in one ceiling with great care. I was not expecting so much given the very reasonable quote. They did a very good job covering floors and furniture prior to painting. Trim and walls looked very nicely painted at the end. They also painted inside of closets, the outside of a painted cabinet, behind the fridge and stove, the radiators and the steam pipes. Afterwords, the crew cleaned up very well. I am extremely please with the job and the cost. I have not received the bill for the paint yet, but I expect it will be reasonable given what they have done so far. I will call Baystate for future jobs and I will recommend them to others. <br />

One painter was very good, one OK, the other not so good. No globs, or running paint from too much applied - all issues were related to not enough paint and lack of evenness. <br />

It went very well. <br /> They did a good job scrapping the shingles and prepping for the paint. This included an oil based primer. <br /> While doing this they replaced many damaged shingles. The house was painted over the period of about 8 days, and they worked around some construction work that was happening. <br /> The crew and Said were all very nice and friendly. <br />

The team was friendly and fast, and the deal was a very good value. The owner was committed to ensuring that I was satisfied with the team's work, and he even pitched in to help paint an area. While they were there, if I noticed something they addressed it immediately. Once they left and I began cleaning, I did find more paint on my floor and bathroom fixtures that I hadn't realized when they were there. I'm sure had I noticed and pointed it out, they would have been happy to clean it up. They were very hardworking and friendly. Overall, the paint job was good and I would use them again.
