BEACH TO BAY CARPET CARE

My 14 year old white carpet was dirty.  I thought I would have to replace it this summer.  After Doug finished the job, I probably won't consider new carpets for a couple of years.  I was most impressed. <br />

Doug was prompt, courteous, and knows his business.  I am planning on using him again in my home. <br />

He was on time. I had already moved most of the furniture and he was able to move my large couch by himself. I was not home when the job was done but I do know that it looked nice. The carpet also dried quickly and I was able to move the furniture back the next day. Nice job. <br />

Doug performed the work himself, vacuumed and cleaned all the carpets, finished work looked great. He moved all furniture except beds, sofas and built-ins and replaced removed items in original locations. I highly recommend his work and would use him again. <br />

Everything was alright. It was adequate; it was nice. The carpets are okay. It wasn't anything outstanding either way. He told me it would have been cheaper if I had gone to him directly rather than getting the big deal because I didn't have that amount of square footage to begin with. I had to pay extra for the stairs, I thought the stairs should have been included for that but they weren't. So, I wasn't crazy about the price that way. It wasn't really the type of carpet cleaning that I had wanted because he had just the machines that scrub the carpet, it doesn't suck anything out. So, that's the only thing and that's not his fault, it's just that I didn't investigated further.

What a pleasant experience!  Such an personable person.  He arrived early but did not disturb us early.  I happened to notice his truck a short way down the street and waved for him to come on.  He came in and assessed the amount of carpet to be cleaned. It was under the amount allotted by the coupon. No problem. He owns the business and does all the work himself. Very contentious <br /> After assessment he proceeded to vacuum the carpet.  The last few times I have had the carpet cleaned no one vacuumed.  I always do the night before for just this reason. My carpet is at least 20 yrs. old and it looks like about 2 now! What a fantastic job!  Thought I might want new carpet but there is certainly no reason now!!  I will DEFINITELY use Beach to Bay Carpet care again!  I highly recommend to everyone! <br />

We have used Beach to Bay Carpet Cleaning for several years. We have never had a problem or any issues with the way Doug performs his service. He is very prompt, considerate and pleasant to have in our home. I highly recommend this company and don't believe anyone would be disappointed. <br />

This is my third time using Beach to Bay Carpet Care. Doug is personable and very customer service oriented. He is very easy to get a hold of, and is always prompt and on time. Most importantly, he does the best carpet and tile cleaning job in the bay area. Extremely thorough and great attention to detail. I also love that this is a local, family business. Highly recommended. I would not go anywhere else for carepet or tile cleaning services. <br />

On the initial phone call Doug explained that they would come out, measure the areas that I wanted cleaned and then would give me an estimate.  They were on time, pleasant and professional.

Doug had given us an estimate over the phone and the final payment reflected that . He arrived on time and was extremely personable. He did the job efficiently and effectively. The old stains disappeared and the carpet looked great. I would recommend him to any home owner and would use his services again. He is also very tolerant of pets, helpful in our case..

They came over on a certain date, give us a price that was to our liking. they did a wonderful job.

They were great. Got there on time. Very nice and professional. Did a great job of cleaning the carpets at a reasonable price. Carpets were even cleaner than I expected them to be. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Doug, the owner, arrived on time to give us a quote on the cost of cleaning the sectional which we accepted. He proceeded to setup his equipment and clean the couch which included dog fur. We were very pleased with the cleaning job on our sectional couch. Since the couch has been taken over by the dog, we were glad Doug was understanding about the fur removal involved. He did a great job.

Researched both Angie's List and other websites trying to find eco-friendly cleaning services for mobile home of 92 year-old with COPD and pets. First inquiry was answered promptly, quote per foot given over the phone and product/services described as delivered and performed.It was essential with the resident's health and having birds in the home that there be NO toxic chemicals. We chose to move many of the electronics and some personal items ourselves but they would have done all of that in addition to moving furniture. House was in perfect order, cleaning was extremely fast drying, and there was not a hint of chemical odor. The Hartwells are very nice and we will use them again as well as recommend them to others. The price may look higher than others but in the end it is not - every other service we have ever tried used high pressure sales tactics to add services and products to initial order. This business was genuinely a pleasure to hire.

The price was competitive and Doug was very personable. Through the process he educated me on "next steps" as he was cleaning the carpet. One surprise happened was while I was having my carpet cleaned, I was having a couch delivered on the same day. They arrived and told me that due to the size of the couch being too long, they were unable to fit the couch in the elevator (I live in a condo in a high rise). They were going to have to cancel the delivery and reschedule to the following week as they needed two more delivery resources to carry the couch up a lot of stairs. I became very worried and disappointed with this news. Doug heard the dilemma and volunteered to help carry the couch up six flights of stairs! With Doug's help and some additional support, the couch was delivered on time! He went up and beyond the call of duty to help me--the customer. I appreciated that.

Well I have been using this guy for a very long time. I know him well and I trust him. When I call him the response time is very good. He answers your calls no matter what. He uses the certificate green clean. Doug Hartwell is the man to call. HE is a down to earth kind of person. He always says he will take care of everything. HE will even move your furniture. He measures for the job everytime. He will also put you furniture back. He is clean he does not leave a mess behind. I trust him and I know he knows what he can and can't do.

It's a pleasure to refer this company because he takes such good care of my carpet. He cares about his customers & is very helpful. Also I don't usually have to schedule more than a week ahead.

I'VE BEEN USING THIS CARPET CLEANER FOR OVER 10 YEARS, AND I'M HOPING HE'S THE ONLY ONE I EVER HAVE TO USE. HE'S ALSO ABLE TO GIVE ME SPECIFIC EXPERT ADVICE ABOUT WHAT TO LOOK FOR AND WHAT TO AVOID WHEN LOOKING FOR NEW CARPET.
