Beavers Tree Service

Beavers Tree did a fine job of removing three medium to large size bushes, a brush pile, and grinding several small stumps and one larger one. The larger tree stump required considerable effort but they did not try to do a halfway job; grinding this oak stump definitely went above and beyond what we expected. I was also impressed that one of the crew members walked around the back yard picking up fallen branches and brought a sizeable bundle to the chipper. They put safety first and requested that we have the utilities marked so that there would not be an accident. Doing so identified a potential problem such that it made it unsafe to grind one of the smaller bush stumps, but that was all right. They cleaned up our yard, driveway, and street very well.

Very well. Got a free estimate and compared around. It was the lowest estimate so we decided to go with it. Came when they said they would and removed tree quickly and efficiently. Thoroughly ground up the stump. Only comment was that when the stump was removed a mound of the mulch mixed with dirt was still in place. Beavers indicated that was needed because the lawn would sink over the next 6-12 months as the remainder of the roots rotted away. While I agree with the logic, it still was less than desirable. I was able to easily distribute the mulch around the replacement tree, but would be disappointed if it had been for my elderly parents who would not have been able to clean up. Of course, I expect that I will need to add some dirt next year. Overall very good service and I would hire again.

Beavers Tree Service arrived at the agreed upon time and got straight to work. The crew members were polite and they all worked very hard at getting the site cleaned up for us. They definitely put in extra effort to make sure they removed all branches/stumps from around the yard. I am very happy with their services and feel that they offer exceptional value. 

They came when they said they would, they were very friendly and professional, did the job very very quickly, cleaned the entire area and when they left you could not tell they had been there.

The yard is fenced so it was not possible to use a crane.  Francisco, the crew leader, was not available on the day the tree was removed.  The three members of the crew worked continually without supervision for four hours to remove the tree.  The crew arrived on time (much appreciated).  The climber was careful and efficient.  All major limbs were roped to ensure no damage to surrounding plants.  A dogwood near the pine that we thought would have to be removed was not damaged (also much appreciated).   The limbs were chipped and the crew left the chips for us (well-positioned so we did not need to move them immediately.)  The top half of the trunk  was cut into fireplace size logs and stacked.  The lower half of the trunk was cut into small pieces for removal with a hand truck.  The strength of each of the three crew members was impressive as they lifted the heavy logs into their truck.  The area was raked and blown clean.  The crew had a good idea for dropping the bottom half of the trunk.  A pine log was laid on the grass for the trunk to fall against.  In that way, the grass would sustain minimal damage.  Unfortunately, the trunk missed the log and made an indentation in the grass.  However, that will be readily repaired in the spring.  The charges were reasonable.  I would recommend the crew highly.
