Contacted provider and made appointment for him to give estimate on 8/4/23. My wife and I reside out of state. Our Florida mobile home is a second home for us. He came out and discussed options. He would provide the labor and I would pay for the materials directly to Lowes. On 9/15 he came out and requested 60% cash upfront prior to start the job on 9/18. He advertises cash, check credit card, etc. but he insisted on cash or cash transfer via cash app. We payed via cash app as requested on 9/15/23. He began work 9/18 /23. During the job, I noticed my JBL Bluetooth speaker was missing. I asked David about it, his reply was it must have been mistaken as his own. He returned it the next day. Couple days later, we discover a recent FedEx delivery package has disappeared along with his helper. His helper and girlfriend (Laying in pickup truck during work) disappeared without warning. David reimbursed me for the package after I brought this to his attention. Most material for the project was ordered by David from Lowes, I gave David my Lowes credit card number to cover the cost. He never provided receipts until I asked a couple times. At one point he admitted to purchasing a weed eater with my card by accident. We agreed I would deduct it from final payment. By Friday 9/22, David was trying to finish up the job but realized he covered the AC vent with the plywood subfloor and LVP. He had to come out and correct the mistake. He took a couple short cuts trying to leave for home, and agreed to come back out and hang the bi-fold doors that were removed. He was really insistent on getting his final payment ….and in cash or cash app ASAP. I requested we meet at Lowes and review the receipts and I would pay him cash at that time. Lowes could not provide receipts at that time so I paid David as requested. He promised to come out Monday 9/25/23 to complete the job. David didn’t show up as promised. Actually, he never showed up on time for work during the whole job. I texted him a picture showing the LVP flooring in the kitchen was separating and the floor was sinking with weight applied. He said he would be right out to make the repairs and finish the job………….after several appointments made and never showed up……….the job is still incomplete. I received receipts from Lowes Corporate and found David purchased a 13 gallon Craftsman Wet Vaccum with my credit card without my approval. I haven’t gotten an explanation on the wet vac yet. He no longer accepts my phone calls or replies to my text. All we want after three months is to get the repairs completed and the bi-fold doors rehung. If David cannot provide this service please hire someone to finish the job. David promise me three years warranty on his work. Hope it doesn’t take three years to get this done. David really stressed his integrity and his good name during his sales pitch. Now we know all about his short comings in such areas. My wife and I are flexible, so we can’t meet with David with a day or two notice.

Initially, David was very helpful. He quoted me what I thought was a fair price to lay down new vinyl floors throughout my home. I was unable to be there in person for the installation, but was pleased with his communication and pictures as the picture progressed. That was all until I had concerns. In several places, he did not install new quarter round after tearing the old ones out. He leveled the floors, but now every single door in my home cannot open or close without scraping the floor. He also failed to install the new flooring in the closet of my master bedroom. He also stole my area rugs. I told him that two of them could be placed at the curb for trash and the other two should be placed back down in their original rooms, but I saw on my security cameras place all of them in his truck and haul them away. He scraped up several pieces of furniture and left such a mess behind that my regular cleaner quoted me $850 to clean up behind him. My home is less than 1400 square feet. He told me he'd fix all of the problems, but now that the balance has been paid in full, he has all but disappeared. He is ignoring all calls and texts. I would not hire him again.

DO NOT USE! ABSOLUTELY SHODDY WORKMANSHIP! Especially for tile. After 3 weeks of letting him try to "Fix" his mistakes, I finally had to let him go today. Grout lines not even or straight, tile not level, tile not measured properly when cut, broken pieces used to fill in gap especially along walls, very messy and careless. Left holes in my walls, and tore up a lot of baseboard that now has to be replaced. After I told him I was going with someone else to tear out (at a great cost) the mess he has created and that I wasn't going to pay him the remainder (paid 50% up front) of the job, he threatened to sue me and put a lien on my house. Very shoddy work. See the pictures. I can only upload 10, but trust me, I have about 50 or more just like this. I now have to tear out and start over.

Please STEER CLEAR! Hired David and his brother to demo our master bathroom flooring and place tile. I had all the materials and ordered what else was needed. He fell short of the agreed timeline and I was willing to let him fix his mistakes. Upon further review, everything was a mess and past the point of letting him come back! Tiles are in the wrong direction, grout is uneven, small cut pieces (pic below). Everywhere they worked: they left trash, found mortar and grout on the walls. He took advantage of us! At this point we want a refund because the floor will have to be redone! I was informed he stands by his work!

Everything went smoothly. I was very pleased with their professionalism and they are detail oriented.
