"Our contract to do the pond for 5k was the guarantee of doing the work on the other property. We put the pond in and had been told by both the municipality and the conservation office not to exceed 4’ in depth or the home owner would need permits. We also had expressed the need for dirt to be brought in the level the areas sounding the pond. The home owner and his wife said they did not want to pay for the extra dirt nor Apply for permitting. So we continued with what our contract had stated we would do. In the pictures posted by the consumer you can clearly see the pond isn’t even full if you look at the overflow pipe and is just an effort to make our company look as if we don’t do quality work. The home owner also had us haul multiple loads of fill out and rip stumps out and do extra grading around the inside of the pond, and the property surrounding which was not part of our agreement nor contract and we had explained anything added would result in additional payment. When both the home owner and his wife had stated they did not want to apply for permits and have us illegally clear property we pulled our equipment out. We never got paid to finish the pond nor for the extra work. We use the Down payments to go against our loss’s and stopped all contact with them as our legal team got involved."
