I was told initially the project would take a full day to replace the furnace and AC. We were lucky that a second crew became available and 4 people showed up and wrapped up the project in a little over 4hours.

Very well. The installers arrived on time, did the removal of the old unit and installation of the new unit, tested the new unit, carefully explained how the new thermostat works, cleaned up thoroughly, and left. Bell Brothers completed the Mid-American rebate application and sent it along with the bill.

They had been servicing our stuff for years. We had a 40 year old air conditioner that they replaced. With the furnace, that was the 3rd furnace in our house. We found out we had a bad heat exchange during a service inspection. It was over 20 years old. The quality of service was excellent. They came out as soon as they could. It could not have been done any faster. There are other heating and air conditioner companies in Des Moines but I have not used anyone else for years.

There were two guys, One came and finished up for the other because he had a sick wife. You pay for what you get. You could go and get one for a cheap price but I am not sure what kind of quality you would get. I do not worry about them coming into my home.

<p>I have used them for the last 25 years. I have service with them twice a year, one for my heating and another time for my cooling. They have always been great, that's why I stay with them. I have a maintenance contract. It usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour. They are professional. </p>

When they did our air conditioner they spent about an hour cleaning things out and checking everything.I was impressed with the amount of work they did on a check up. I would definitely recommend.

Great knowledgable technician, lousy service. They had installed the unit and yet when service had not been done for several years according to their records (mine too) & they were called by a new owner to service an operating system they failed to send the technician with the appropriate air filter???? Sad lack of foresight? A costly offer to have a filter delivered immediately? A length trip to town for a filter at their shop at rush hour?

With the unit not having service since installation we did not have a filter size on record. We were happy with Bell Brothers from start to finish. We have an older home with an AC unit that was at least 25 years old. Bell Brothers came out, explained our option, and guided us toward an option that wasn't necessarily the most expensive. Their installers were good at what they did, and they didn't leave our home or yard a mess. We would absolutely hire them again.

It was under warranty and we just had to pay for some warranty. We are on a contract where they come out twice a year to check it out. I have used them for the whole time we have been here about 12 years.

It went great. Initially was only going to have two supply runs replaced but Tom, on inspecting the ductwork did three. His sheet metal work is awesome! Also the dryer vent looks great. He had to go through brick to install it and it took quite some time to get the hole drilled.
